  1. I like some of these and am disappointed it did not receive much attention.
  2. Isn't it a bit early for a full expansion to be brought to a relatively new game? And considering the customer decline and overall satisfaction level, I would assume additional paid content wouldn't bring in enough revenue to overcome the additional loss in customers who would unsub rather than pay for more content at this point.
  3. No, it's not. The declining population has been a consistent, steady trend for months, and D3 is most certainly not what caused the recent avalanche of anguish.
  4. 1. A larger photon torpedo tube... I'm thinking 10 or 12 should do the trick. I mean, all the Grade 5 upgrades have the purple upgrades, why can't the photons? 2. The planet/fleet cinematics with the ship leaving the bay or flying down to the surface SHOULD BE THE LOAD SCREEN. That would be pretty cool, no more boring picture with a bar on it. That way we don't spacebar through the cinematic just to sit there and wait another minute or so. We would actually watch the whole thing through, and when it gets there, voila! no more load screen.
  5. Love the sig... takes me back
  6. Since it is currently prime time playing time, I checked server populations, and The Fatman is one of two listed as being Heavy, the other being Jedi Covenant, which is a PvE server, unlike The Fatman. So, if you are not into PvP as much, that is a fine alternative to still obtain said goal. Edit: on a side note, I really don't know how this ended up in the Community forum, as I fully intended it to be under General. Is there a way to move this post?
  7. I started playing at the end of March, hit 50 a couple weeks ago. The guild I joined has been dead since I began, so I pretty much solo'd the class storyline. Right when I hit 50 and started PvPing, I would get murdered from lack of skill and gear against skilled and geared players. Now that I am getting the hang of it and have a full set of BM, I can't get a match to save my life. Yesterday I wasn't able to complete the PvP daily. I think that's what finally started the fire up under me. I happily played the game through one class solo, and now can't do anything worth doing because there's nobody with whom to do any of said content. As such, I can't justify rerolling and doing another story class knowing there is so much more content I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO but cannot because, again, there is quite literally NOBODY with whom to do it. The ONLY option worth my time is to reroll on The Fatman, which now seems to be the only server worth playing, and wait for server transfers to combine my legacy into something worthwhile. I feel like I'm breaking up with a significant other just so I can keep them as a backup option in case I can't get lucky on Friday night. It's sickening.
  8. 1. Hardly true, if at all, based on seeing every server except that one having a light population nearly all the time 2. Definitely not true 3. Many are, but not all... then again I didn't really care to PvP much until I recently hit 50, at which point the population plummeted; but who is to judge where the correlation occurs: my becoming a PvPer and as such a complainer, or the population dropping and as such becoming a complainer?
  9. I'm sure I'm not the first and won't be the last to suggest this, but if it gets enough attention, perhaps it can work. After logging in this morning and finding every server on both coasts with a light poopulation except for The Fatman, I suggest everybody who is experiencing low population grief start playing a character on that server. I don't care to do this myself for many reasons, but will anyway for these reasons: My beloved level 50 PvPer cannot queue regularly enough to break up the monotony of doing the same dailies and keep it interesting. The same is true of flashpoints, et cetera, because the people who want to do them are too spread out amongst servers and playing schedules. Why reroll on a dead server when you can reroll on a full server and actually play the game for the content it's supposed to provide? Server transfers are coming eventually, so we will certainly be able to bring these characters back into our legacy should we choose. If the developers see that one single server consistently has a heavy or full population, but all the others are light or (gasp!) completely dead, then they will have a sure sign that we, the customers and players, are dissatisfied and are taking action to get their attention to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT in a PROMPT manner. Just a somewhat impractical suggestion to help facilitate the solution we all desire so much.
  10. That's pretty much every server. With one exception, which I believe everyone is beginning to figure out. So if EVERY server with ONE exception ALWAYS has a light population, I think it's safe to say that this lies completely outside of the players' responsibility. So, to answer your question: Yes, it IS 100% BW's fault that they and I and nearly everybody else just happened to land on a server that a lot of people left and is now dead.
  11. I understand well the role of Expertise and the requirement of using PvP and not PvE gear in PvP. But is it plausible to use, for instance, a full set of BM gear in any given PvE situation? And if it matters, would one in a pug role make any difference in this?
