  1. I just added the mounting thing to the long list of "lol nope!" legacy unlocks.
  2. I have helped others on toons that completed it, and had others help me on toons that didn't. I might be misremembering, but I'm 99% certain.
  3. If I recall correctly, you can customize the positions of both the buffs and the debuffs, and how many may be in each row. To the Bat-Interface Editor!
  4. Aurora Cannon / Long Shots - Should be the same as Draxus SM vs. HM. In HM you need to keep channeling the crystals, in SM you just need to click them and then they disappear. Do the same for the last bit, and remove the gates along the way. Done.
  5. Level 50 ops: Explosive Conflict, Karagga's Palace, Eternity Vault Level 55 ops: Terror From Beyond, Scum & Villainy, Dread Fortress/Palace, Toborro's Courtyard Level 60 ops: Ravagers, Temple of Sacrifice I think that's all of them.
  6. In Flashpoints, more often than not, a stun amounts to nothing more than a waste of a GCD. On some of the bigger pulls, or to interrupt the healer, sure. Otherwise, why bother, and why mess up the flow of your rotation?
  7. I get this from time to time. If they can't find the bug or find a solution for it, why not implement a simple workaround - Let us travel to stronghold from anywhere. I don't get why they disable quick travel in spaceport / orbital station, but it needs to stop.
  8. It's not that big a deal, and it's only for the final part of the story. The idea is that eventually you need to fight your way to Revan himself. You can either do that yourself (i.e. Temple of Sacrifice) or you can "rally the troops" to increase morale and cooperation within the coalition, so the army clears the way for you (i.e. do dailies). Then the final fight is the same either way.
  9. Solo is doing a bunch of the daily quests on Yavin + killing four named mobs. Operation is doing Temple of Sacrifice, I assume. I never picked that option.
  10. There's absolutely no reason to place such limitations on people simply for wanting to get to the part they enjoy more quickly. The word "draconian" comes to mind when reading your suggestion.
  11. Ever since GSH was released I was fairly certain that there are a lot more items designed or planned, they're just intended to be part of CM packs. Because of course they are.
  12. Don't pug for it on Nar Shaddaa, pug for it on fleet. Anyone can enter that instance at any point in time, as long as they are grouped with at least one player that has that quest. Every now and then someone in my guild asks for help, and most of the time there are 3 other people who are willing to help or need the quest as well. That's really your best shot at getting it done.
  13. My theory for what future story content will be:
  14. Bottom line - we need more options. Obviously no method of travel is the best for all players, so let us choose what we prefer.
  15. I think the best example for this position lag problem are times when on your screen it appears as though you're in melee range of a mob, but for some reason you can't do anything because you're "out of range". It almost always happens in Dread Palace, with the Palace Watchmen. After they use their shadow strike, suddenly melee can't attack them. If the player being attacked by them moves or if they are taunted, they suddenly snap to where the server thought they were. Also in the second phase of Calphayus.
  16. My problem with the 10 second timer is that I NEED my maps to be complete, and region discovery doesn't always pop fast enough
  17. That sentence was followed by "seriously though" for a reason.
  18. What prompted my participation in this thread wasn't what OP had to say, but rather the many comments telling them it's basically their fault. It's not. Careless or not, if a player on a PvE server unintentionally flags themselves, the blame is on the system being lousy. Nobody on this thread was helpful or informative, trying to explain to OP what they should do to avoid that without laying the blame on them in the process. And continuing to blame OP after they said that they understand the mechanic and still aren't successful in avoiding it is even worse.
  19. Of course it's the only thing I can do, that's exactly the problem that this thread is trying to point out. Just because it's not impossible to get around the poor PvP flagging system doesn't make it any less flawed. And I'm not gonna "sit back and enjoy being smarter than them", because that's not something I enjoy, nor is it what I play the game for. If being better or worse than other players was something I cared about I would probably play on a PvP server.
  20. Yeah, no. It's definitely an MMO, it even has a lot in common with MMOs that came before it in terms of mechanics and game design. You can't simply toss aside a huge chunk of the game's content, and with it a lot of the reasoning behind its design. If you look at it as mainly a single-player RPG, it's an incredibly crappy one. I for one very much like what SWTOR does. Even if the only thing my choices amount to is a different line from the NPC I'm talking to, it's still a lot better than the walls of ignorable text that WoW has. And there are some choices with actual consequences here and there (I don't recall specifics at the moment, I'm afraid), even if those consequences don't mean your story is now heading in a completely different direction. I think the bottom line is that you came into this game expecting it to be something it's not. Your disappointment is understandable, but it's not because the game does something wrong.
  21. A very small percentage of crafters waste their midlithe crystals on these dyes. Or at least I hope so. Seriously though, power crystals and artifact fragments are used for everything made with artifice and synthweaving. Color crystals are used for dyes and dyes alone. Ergo color crystals are worth far less than the other mats, ergo they shouldn't take up 60% or more of the gathering nodes.
  22. No, I mean a button whose sole, unambiguous purpose is to change your PvP flag. Even with auto-target disabled it's still possible to get flagged by accident. I had a couple of griefers follow me around on Yavin and doing the "play dead" recharge thing on top of the mobs I killed to lure me into clicking them. It didn't work, but it was extremely annoying, and should not be possible. I shouldn't be extra-careful and adjust my own play style when it's incredibly, unbelievably simple to make this issue disappear.
  23. As they put it in one of the discipline system livestreams, alacrity speeds up everything you want sped up. Global cooldown, casting/channeling abilities, force/energy refilling, internal cooldowns (this ability can only trigger once every X seconds), DoTs/HoTs ticking faster.... I think that's it, but you get the idea.
