I noticed the same thing, similarly with an Imperial who sided with the Republic on Iokath, who played Iokath and all subsequent content pretty close to when they came out. Both Acina and Malcom are listed as dead, even though only Acina should be. And Theron's dialogue refers to losing one parent, which he hasn't.
-
Agreed! I often think of how nice it would be to get this in our strongholds, when I see it decorating sithy areas.
-
It's confusing. We keep hearing this is in the works, and then keep not getting Zenith back.
-
Ah, I reported this in another thread, not realising your topic had covered it. I'm experiencing this problem too! However, I'm only experiencing it with one character, a consistent saboteur. For an Imperial who sided with Jace on Iokath but didn't become a saboteur, he's showing up as alive in the contacts window.
-
In some game states, Jace Malcom is erroneously presented as dead. Specifically, my SIS-aligned Imperial agent who sided with the Republic on Iokath, and has been a saboteur for the Republic at every opportunity, now wrongly sees Malcom listed as dead in her contacts. I was alerted to the discrepancy when Theron spoke of losing one parent in a new conversation added in 6.2, but I knew that Malcom should be alive in this game state.
I am certain that my agent sided with the Republic on Iokath and I'm not just forgetting, as I have been fanatical about this character always helping the Republic where possible, from agent class story chapter two onwards. But I do have screenshots to back up my claim. Malcom's contact info does state that he and the agent fought the Empire together on Iokath. However, it still lists him as dead. Acina's contact info similarly shows her as having died on Iokath. Apparently both died on Iokath trying to control the superweapon, and are each mourned by their factions!
So far, in all the other characters I've checked, as far as I can tell, Malcom's status is not bugged in the contacts list.
For a consistent Republic loyalist, he is rightly shown as alive.
For a Republic character who sided with the Republic on Iokath but then became a saboteur, he is rightly shown as alive.
For an Imperial who sided with the Empire on Iokath but then became a saboteur, he is rightly shown as dead.
For an Imperial who sided with the Republic on Iokath, did not become a saboteur, and stayed independent, he is rightly shown as alive.
For a consistent Imperial loyalist, he is rightly shown as dead.
I have chosen not to proceed with my consistent Imperial saboteur until this is fixed. Hopefully it can be identified and addressed soon. Thanks!

Slightly concerned about a possible bug related to Theron so I esc'd out of a conversation. Looking for any possible help and enlightenment!
My imperial agent saboteur sided with the Republic on Iokath. Malcom survived. However, when Theron asks about joining the new mission, he says that he's already lost one parent and doesn't want to lose another. Is everyone getting this line, regardless of whether Theron "lost" his father? Or is this some sign of a bug?
Edit: Yep, looks like there's a bug. Checking the status of Acina and Malcom in my contacts page, they are somehow both listed as dead after failing to control the Iokath superweapon.

Hey everyone!
I wanted to follow-up here with some clarity on a few things. Conquests will begin at 12:00pm GMT, so the previous Conquest week will end at 11:00am GMT to allow for the hour cooldown period between events.
Some of you have been curious why we're making this timing change. We have aspects of SWTOR that reset on a weekly basis - Operations lockouts, Weekly Mission Resets, Conquests, etc. We know that these events are important for players and some modify their playtime based on when these resets happen. Aligning all our reset timers makes things easier for players to keep up to date with SWTOR, provides an expectation for future resets, and helps prevent potential development problems on our end when having multiple systems using different resetting behavior.
Fair enough. I appreciate you sharing your reasons. I do prefer the current schedule as regards guilds being able to see points totals just before conquest end without logging into the game "in the middle of the day" (as it is in the EU). Also, I liked each week have "eight" conquest days (Tuesday essentially being divided into two halves where objectives could be repeated). But it does sound like you have a wider perspective that you need to consider beyond individual convenience and preferences (particularly given that, as people comment here, not all prefer things the current way).
-
Yeah, I really don't think this conquest time change is an improvement. I wonder what BW thinks is wrong with the way it works now. As I see it, the current situation gives people a welcome bit of wriggle-room.

That's... a lot of deleting. You wouldn't have kept the original character in case things in the remade character didn't quite work out as you wanted?

If they kept the pale brown from before perhaps, but the current orange/brown looks worse. Also you could use only a primary dye module. The pale brown is available in some dyes i think.
In your opinion the current "orange/brown" looks worse. I think it looks great! And there aren't that many primary dye modules compared to two-colour dyes. And I don't want to use pale brown: I like this brown! With the leather parts being undyeable, from my point of view there are actually more good-looking combinations, because now a huge number of two-colour dyes can have one of their colours combine with this (in my opinion) very nice brown. Frankly, as I see it, lots of two-colour dyes aren't currently viable because their colours clash horribly, whereas this brown would combine nicely with one colour from the two-colour dyes.
I have to fully agree with this statement. However, two wrongs don't make a right.I appreciate the agreement of one of my points. However, I don't think there are two wrongs here. I really hope they keep the undyeable parts. For me, this is something very right.

For whatever it's worth, personally I like that the brown part of the Revan set doesn't dye. A good brown like this works well with many other colours. And many of the two-colour dyes that include brown have nasty browns.

These look awesome.

Missions: Heroic is now only available in the 10-49 Level Bracket (change from 10-49, 50-70, 71+) and is now an Infinite Repeat (change from Daily Repeat)
Levelling is so quick and easy (and not just during double xp), characters don't stay in the 10-49 bracket for long. Heroics give a decent bit of variety, objectives you can complete on almost any planet. If I've done heroics on one planet for what feels like too much, I can easily go to another and do the heroics there. Far more options than with weeklies. I don't like heroics being removed as objectives for higher level characters.
The dev post said "Missions: Heroic is now only available in the 10-49 Level Bracket (change from 10-49, 50-70, 71+)". If that's accurate, that's solely the generic daily objective that had previously been nerfed. The individual planetary objectives are called [Planet Name]: Heroic Mission, and were only available for 71+ (10-49 and 50-70 had Mission Completed instead), so those would presumably still be available.I hope you are correct! But I prefer if both are accessible to higher levels.

I wish they would either leave the sleeve out or put it on both arms. The asymmetry is not appealing, IMO. And my preference would be for no sleeves.
-
Whichever route they take, I hope that they fix this soon.
-
Alas I was right, the vaccination buff is removed as soon as you switch back to a useful relic.
Sigh.
-
Strongly agree. Would love z axis moveability, and any increase on the range of movement for each axis would be brilliant.
-
That doesn't square with my experience. You get two crates, depending on the heroic, from 61 onward. If you're only getting one, something's wrong on your end.
And that does not square with my experience. I get two crates from level 61 for roughly five levels. If I don't misremember, it goes down to one at level 66. How do you know whose end something is wrong on?

Zenith becoming president of Balmorra would explain why Tai was a senator now but also why he couldn't just leave to meet up with the consular. At least it'd be a storyline that hasn't been done for a companion return.
This would be interesting. It would, however, clash a bit with the idea that it was hard for the Alliance to find our "missing" companions. The president of Balmorra would be a public figure.
-
I just noticed this. I preferred the old, longer duration of the dance. I hope that the change is reversed.
-
Congratulations on the Steam launch. I hope it adds many more new players, maybe even encourages some people to come back.
-
Hopefully the extra players will add to the life of the game.

C1-4W is adorable. Pet, companion, decoration, or all of the above, please!

Bioware, you need to put them in so we can access them when the event isn't active, like the vendors for all the other events are.
Agreed. It was an unpleasant surprise not to be able to access them outside the event, especially considering that some vendors had been put on the main fleet level already. Would it have been such a problem to transfer those ones down to the Cartel Bazaar level?
Game Update 6.2 - Known Issues
in Bug Reports
Posted · Edited by Estelindis
Yeah, surprised to see no acknowledgement of this, particularly considering that some other people have reported this has been a problem for a while? Personally, I only noticed it in this update. Maybe they don't consider it a 6.2-specific issue. But I hope they fix it.
