  1. I also use this, it's called Shadowplay. However, you'll need to tweak the registry a little in order for it not to record your cursor as the default is to record everything on your screen, including that big yellow arrow. If you google hide cursor in shadowplay recordings, the top result should be one from nvidia themselves with a downloadable registry fix to hide it.
  2. Hmm, a patch that promises changes to conquest going out two days after conquest resets. I'm having flashbacks to the Great Conquest Reset that happened last year (year before? I forget.) that had people howling on the forums. Methinks everyone is going to be piling in on the low yield planet this week.
  3. There are also purple and cyan crystals on the Eternal Championship vendor. They're BoL and cost two tokens each.
  4. There are four modes to these flashpoints, solo, story, vet and master. You need to do the solo version of the flashpoint to progress the story. Story version is for you to repeat on your own with no cut scenes and vet/master are just exactly what they say on the tin. If I recall, you can't do master mode if you have the solo mission in your log, which might be why you're only seeing three modes on the terminal. Try resetting the mission in your log. If you can, abandon any Copero flashpoints you have in your mission log then reset all active phases via your character portrait. Then you should, in theory, get the launch button for the last part. Theron in your war room is a bug, he's there regardless of your decision at the end of Umbara.
  5. Might depend on how long ago you deleted it. I deleted a character wearing my DvL armour (D'OH! ), I opened a ticket ingame with as many details that I could remember about the toon (name, level, class etc) and the CS person managed to find it and restore it. It was a few weeks in between the delete and restoration.
  6. Preferences > Chat > disable Group Awareness Ping
  7. Had a FP pop, Hammer Station, thank god, first pull in I realised I was in Lethality spec and gear (I'd queued as a healer). Me: Need 20 secs, I'm in the wrong spec. I abandon my DPS spec. Tank pulls next group, without healing up from the first pack. I am currently in no spec at all and do my best with the three healing abilities I have. Me: Need 5 seconds before you pull the next ones, please? Manage to at least get into Medicine, sort out my skills, but before I can press accept, the tank is off again. Aaaannnnnd I'm in combat. The third pack that people usually LoS? He barrels straight into them, still without self healing. /facepalm I pop my stealth overload and press accept for my skills. He's melting, I'm trying to keep him up, droids are shooting at everyone, I'm still trying to move my abilities (which, of course, are not on my usual hotkeys) and not let anyone die. Somehow, we kill that pack and with everyone still alive, tank finds his out of combat heal and I get a few precious seconds to change my gear. Then I see this gem in chat: Tank: Don't queue as heals if you're not going to heal. I has half way through typing out a not so polite reply when this popped into chat. DPS: Scroll up, a**hole. That DPS got extra healing love for the rest of the FP.
  8. The things that are once per legacy, per week are mindbogglingly stupid. Critical Missions: >Planet< Complete the weekly blah blah. Why? It's not like we can spam them every day to accrue masses of points. Either reduce the points rewarded, or limit the amount that are available. NOT limit the amount of times it's worth it to do them, ie ONCE. And then, and only then, if you're high enough level to be eligible to do them. That's just a big, ol' Italian Salute to the people new to the game who are still levelling. Again, once per legacy with Critical Missions: Galactic Flashpoints - Really? It's another weekly, is it so terrible if we can do this on multiple toons? I'm happy that the group finder for uprisings/flashpoints is back, it's a step in the right direction, but 325 points (with full stronghold bonus) is just laughable. Oh, but they're spammable now, you say. Yes, yes they are. But who's going to repeatedly queue for that pitiful reward? What was wrong with the old way? We got a decent amount of points for completing a flashpoint provided we were eligible for the daily reward. Y'all took a hatchet to the conquest system, and now you're trying to fix it with a band aid.
  9. If you wanted to limit the big guilds dominating conquest and make it easier for smaller guilds to compete, why didn't you just cap the amount of points a player could get per toon per week and make it relative to the type of planet being invaded? Pulling numbers out of the air, but you could have set it at 30k for a small yield planet, 50k for a medium yield and 70k for a large yield. But whatever you do, you seriously need to think about getting rid of that stupid, stupid legacy lockout.
  10. "I'm an optimistic guy, so I'll start with the good" - Theron Shan I like the Guild Invasions tab, all the information is there in a nice, clear way and I don't have to dig through drop-down menus to see how things are going on other planets. It looks good. So, now the bad... "Needs work, a lot of work!" - Tora The conquest, not just the tab itself, but the whole thing. Jesus Tapdancing Christ, it's even more of a grind than ever. I can see how limiting some things to a daily legacy lockout might make it harder for the same guilds to win planets over and over, but you've applied the limits to the wrong stuff. This week, for example, Ilum: Heroic Missions can be completed once per day over my whole legacy? That one can only be done once a week anyway, so what's the point? Event missions are the same; daily legacy lockout. Winning a PvP match? Oh look, once per day over my whole legacy! What brainiac thought that was a good idea? Some of the conquest points are... well, I don't have the words, to be honest. Run through Battle of Ilum solo mode and get it done in ten minutes for 325 points, or queue for an Uprising with the strong chance of being grouped with at least one crayon eater for 325 points. Decisions, decisions. But hey, at least I can do that all evening, on all my toons, right? From the patch notes: In addition to one-time and repeatable, there are now also daily objectives. Forgive me if I'm being dense, but how do I tell what these are? As it's been pointed out in posts above this one, there needs to be much more information on the right side of the window. I have several toons in different guilds, I used to try to complete conquest on at least four of them, All these changes mean that I've pretty much got to pick one guild to concentrate on each week. And finally, please, please, for the love of all things holy and some that are not, put the daily and weekly flashpoint objectives back in there.
  11. There are planetary quests that you need to complete to unlock each of the six Star Fortress', have you done them? They pop as alliance alerts when you've done the initial quest from Miot. Each one is called >Planet Name<: The Resistance. Each time you complete one of them, the corresponding star fortress becomes available in heroic mode.
  12. All your choices are per character, so to use your example X can kill her, but Y doesn't have to.
  13. It's part of "Bedside Manner", that you get automatically at level 60 via the discipline path in Sawbones spec. Bedside Manner Level Granted: 60 Passive Exploiting an Upper Hand with a healing ability increases all healing done by 3% for 6 seconds. In addition, the range of Bushwhack is increased by 30 meters.
  14. Sin stun is, if I recall correctly, 8 seconds long, and has a longer cooldown, so they would have had to have been chained really well to be effective, whereas a merc hard stun is 60 secs long, unless someone drops an AoE on them. But I've had this too. Me: "Sin, stun the marked mob." Sin: "With what?" Me: "Mind trap, I think. Little hazy on the name, it's been a while since I played the class. It's your CC." Sin: "Yeh, I got it." Me: *screams* "You need to stealth first, STEALTH!" Me: /headdesk Me: *Ciao sanity, was nice knowing you.*. Ahh, bollocks to it, I'll just kill everything."
  15. Finding the VA's we know and love also doing the voices for random NPC's is always hilarious for me. Troy Baker voices a vendor on both fleets. No spoilers, but the phrase "Stay trendy." always makes me laugh. And also, I was clearing a planet (Imp side Balmorra, I think - it was a while back), and I was given what is now classed an exploration mission. The NPC was voiced by Richard Ridings, better known in the UK as Daddy Pig. Ho Ho!
  16. I've just run a character through the whole traitor arc and I noticed that after the final Umbara cutscene with Lana, I could talk to her immediately without exiting the Staging Area and start the Copero part. There is also a scene with the traitor talking to a masked figure at the end of that flashpoint too and this is also the latest part of the story - the next (final?) instalment is around April.
  17. You should have one more part. Is there nothing in your mission log?
  18. Trying to work out exactly what point in the story you're at. I think I know, but just to clarify, is this right after you've been to Umbara?
  19. Did you go back and talk to Lana when you returned to Odessen?
  20. Just had a vet BH with a DPS who clicked every single kolto station in the Jos and Valk fight. Start of the fight, click-click-click-click. All four on cooldown. As soon as they came off cooldown, he was off again; click-click-click-click. Didn't matter if we needed them or not, it seemed they were not allowed to be available. He stopped when we got the four beasts, but as soon as both Jos and Valk were back down, he was off again - click-click-click-click. How the hell he never got booted off the edge, I will never know.
  21. I deleted one a few months back with all my DvL armour on it . I think it took two days for them to contact me to get it restored. Certainly wasn't a very long time.
  22. The agent is indeed referred to as 'Commander' throughout the Makeb storyline, but it's not a title that you can select like the ones listed above. I've just run a few chars through the opening cut scenes of Countdown to Doomsday and the one for the agent is significantly longer than the others. I can't speak for all of the endings for the agent storyline, but my agent chose to erase his identity and is basically a freelancer. The agent is contacted by Darth Marr who is a little pissed that he's had to expend a lot of resources to track him down, but needs his help anyway. This is what Marr says to the agent: Darth Marr: I am transmitting military security codes to grant you the authority of Special Projects Commander. Use it or not, but I will not have you slicing my data, and it will facilitate my people's cooperation. They are not trained to obey ghosts. I think people refer to the agent as Commander simply because they have no idea who he/she is and if Marr says that the agent is a Commander, then the agent is a Commander. Whereas the other three classes are well known in the galaxy and can be referred to as Dark Lord, Wrath or Hunter/Champion, so no need for a special title.
