  1. No, you can't. Using a token will auto-complete your class story, Shadow of Revan and Ziost. I'm sure someone will jump in if I've missed one. You will be able to go back and do the Makeb storyline (I know this as I completed it with a boosted charactor). I think you can do the Ilum story arc, but I'm not 100% certain on that. If you want to do your class story with a high level charactor, then you will need to use a Master's Datacron, not an Insta-lvl60/65 token. This will level your charactor up to 70, give you access to your ship and a basic set of gear, but as far as missions are concerned, you will be at the same stage as a lvl 1 and able to complete all the missions you want. Just want to point out that if you decide to delete your now lvl 70 toon, you will NOT get your token back.
  2. I'm still here, occasionally waving my stick and telling these younglings to get off my space-lawn.
  3. Happy to have helped, but in reading my original post I realised that, once again, I have mixed up my left and right (driving is "fun" with me!). If you want to sneak part the skytroopers, first go to the left, then swap to the right.
  4. You should be able to immediately run backwards and avoid the skytroopers as soon as you exit the cut scene. If you keep to the right and run along the rocks until you get to the ruined space craft, then swap to the other side and run along the rocks on the left, all the skytroopers should de-spawn as soon as you hit the ground in the next area (where you meet the two enemies from your past). Even if you aggro some of then, keep going. There's a droid near there, which will let you repair your gear. Once you're actually safe, check to see what chapter difficulty you are on. It sounds like you've managed to change the difficulty off of story mode and into either veteran or master. There's no way those skytroopers should be hitting you so hard in story mode.
  5. I've done three endings, Hand of Jadus, Defector and Space Batman. Out of all of them, the one I consider to be my "main" agent went Space Batman. In my head cannon, he joined the military for personal reasons, signed up with Intelligence as soon as he could, then got screwed over by the Empire and the Republic (which by this stage in his life, would have been at least twice). So he was kinda by the end of the story. As for Iokath and Ossus, he still sided with the Empire. Why? Well, better the devil you know than the devil you don't, but he would have preferred to tell them both to get stuffed.
  6. The romance arcs are the same as they always were. The only difference now is that since the change from affection (if I recall correctly) to influence, the timings of the conversations is now tied to story progression. Your influence levels are largely irrelevant.
  7. Speaking from experience of using a boosted character, the answer is a big, fat nope. Sorry, you have to do it the old-fashioned way if you want the codex entries.
  8. I don't think you can get it through the cartel market, but you can pray to the RNG gods and get a version of it from the supply crates you hand in to Dr. Oggurobb. Those crates are rewards from H2's from lvl 61 and you'll need to look for missions that reward Alliance Supply Crates: Alien Research. Whilst you'll get the crates by default for running H2's at lvl 61+, you'll need a toon that's run KOTFE to the point where you have access to the base on Odessen to be able to hand them in, but the gear is legacy bound and retains it's appearance across the factions.
  9. Exit the flashpoint and re-enter. It should put you back at the spot where you killed the boss with the droids.
  10. If you're willing to fork out a huge amount of creds, there's a room in the gunship part of the Rishi stronghold that has a dummy. Or you can poke around a public stronghold if you want to use one. This is, I believe, the only one that can be set to cater for different practice modes. Damage, healing (single target and multiple target) might have a tanking mode, but I can't tank for shi... toffee, so I didn't notice.
  11. ARIES can be interrupted, but it's not really needed. It sounds like you're having problems with his channelled ability called Laser Barrage. Now, you can interrupt it, but in my experience, he uses it more often than your interrupt is available (at least, he did for me anyway). But the best way that I've found to deal with it is to stand right on top of him when he starts to cast it, put Vette on passive if he's targeting her so she runs to you. If ARIES is inside the red circle when the laser hits it will stun him for a few seconds. Yes, you will eat a tick of damage, but you get some breathing room to whale on him and heal up a bit.
  12. it will say 30 days after your six days run out. It gets added on in the background, but doesn't show on your account until your current days have run out.
  13. From what I can guess, I think you are at the point where you've talked to Agent Kovach, zapped the Jedi Master and are now outside the building. If that's the case, you need to use your macrobinoculars to scan 5 guns on the top of nearby buildings; you'll probably need to move around a bit. Use your binoc's and look up to the roofs and find the double guns, they'll have the orange targeting reticule when you find them, so you know when to zoom in. Once you find one, the other four are easy to spot.
  14. Double XP seems to have brought all the oddballs out of the woodwork. Had a vet Cademimu pop, two lvl 70's a lvl 50-something and a lvl 21 tank. Everyone says their "hellos" and the tank immediately complains that there is no healer. We shrug it off as a) it's vet and b) there's two of us capable of off-healing if it starts to hit the fan. Which it did. Tank pulls groups of trash I didn't even know existed. It was like he went out of his way to find packs of mobs to kill. Skip the champion droids? Well, that would be too easy, wouldn't it? He managed to pull the trash after the shortcut from slicing the door (complete with champ droid), plus the second champ droid and the trash in the two adjoining rooms. He kinda melted, then while he was dead whinged about how no one helped low level players these days and he was sick of carrying groups. Er, yes. You and your lvl 21 guardian are totally carrying us, let's just finish this FP so you can add to your 225 achievement points and move on. Somehow we killed all of the mobs without a wipe and while people were recovering, I said "If you didn't keep pulling unneeded trash, you wouldn't need so much off healing and wouldn't die so much". Well, I think I triggered him, because he let loose with a tirade about how rude I was in group chat, asking me if I spoke to my mother like that. This was followed up with the most hilarious whispers when he died on Officer Xander (he got blown up), Captain Grimyk (death by flamethrower) and General Ortol (stood in the fire), not even kolto could keep this guy up. I got called everything from a common prostitute to a Taiwanese ladyboy . He was still going as I handed in the mission on the Fleet, getting more and more outraged because I refused to rise to the bait and answer him. Another name to add to my ignore list, I only wish it was legacy-wide so I didn't have to go through the hassle of ignoring him on all my Pub's.
  15. if I were you, I'd do a few flashpoints/some PvP/run a few planets worth of heroics, depending on what you prefer to do, to get a few more levels. Even one or two more will help you a lot. With regards to that particular fight, if I recall it correctly you need to keep moving out of his AoE and do your best to interrupt his casts. Good luck.
  16. I think this is the closest you can get: https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/unbreakable-defender/
  17. Load up on basic metal chairs. Find unused medium/medium narrow hooks near walls/pillars, convert them to small ones. Stick a chair down and shove it in the wall. Can also stick pets under the fountain edges, pets/chairs under bigger decorations. Hell, I've even managed to get two identical decos stacked on top of eachother by a cunning use of small hooks.
  18. The appear on the terminals at or close to the planet level, but they certainly do not appear in the solo activities window. How am I so sure of this? I have a lvl 44 warrior on his class quest, on Voss who cannot access the Voss dailies via his activities window, but he can pick them up from the fleet terminal, Voss terminal, and the NPC's. According to you, my lvl 21 agent should be able to see the heroics for Nar Shaddaa, as that planet is in the 20-24 range, but she can only see Balmorra and Kaas. The person having the issue has stated that he/she cannot see the Correllia H2's in the solo tab, even though they appear to be the right level for the planet. Hence me recommending that they go to the terminal on the fleet where the missions will be able to be picked up. I will concede that I probably have the trigger wrong, I can only go by my own experience of them popping when I've finished my class quests. It could be related to hitting the maximum recommended level for the planet (ie: level 20 for Balmorra or lvl 24 for Nar Shaddaa, those being the only two that I can remember off the top of my head), but they certainly do NOT appear in the Solo tab when you get near to the level requirements of the planet.
  19. Thank you!! After picking all my decos up, putting them down one at a time, and hopping up and down the elevator like some kind of mad person, I can say that in my stronghold, it was the floor hook that was causing the issue for me. The end of my hallway is now rugless, and I have access to the garden again. At least it's a workaround. Now I just have to remember why I wanted to get up there in the first place.
  20. Heroics for the planets don't usually appear in solo activities until you've "completed" the planet (done your class quest/planetary arc). If you're at an appropriate level for Corellia, and I am assuming you are, go to the fleet and pick up the H2 from the terminal there. It's in the Combat Training section.
  21. You can buy the Iokath Recomblobby-doodats and resell them straight away back to the vendor for cold, hard credits. You don't get the two hour cooldown period where you can re-sell them for exactly what you spent, you can vendor them straight away for a profit. Not a very big one, mind you, but a profit nonetheless. And before anyone jumps in with "this is a bug/exploit" - no, it's not. I have a PM from Keith confirming that this is intended.
  22. Posting things like this on the forums is a big no-no. If I were you, I'd copy/paste this into a private message to Eric and Keith, then delete the text here.
  23. Tip: Keep any CXP boosts granted via crates in your command stash and take them one at a time as you need them. They stack in your stash, they do not stack in your inventory/cargo hold.
  24. Since patch 5.9.2a dropped, I've been unable to access the Rooftop Garden section in my Manaan stronghold. I get the black screen as if I'm loading, then I get popped back to the entrance elevator. I can go to the Underwater section just fine, but if I try to go the Rooftop from there, I get 'ported back to the entrance elevator again. I could access it just fine this morning, prior to the patch. I've got a fulled unlocked stronghold, I've used all the hooks. Yes, all 800 of the damn things (thanks for that, by the way ). I've tried on Imps and Pubs. I've even popped into other people's strongholds; some at 100%, some at 81% and some below 50%. Can't access the Rooftop in any of them. Anyone else having this problem? Edit. Just to sate my curiosity, I rolled a new toon on a different server. I had no legacy there, nor any strongholds. After getting to the fleet, I tried a few public Manaan strongholds. One at 100% (800 hooks filled) - I could not access the Rooftop Garden One at 81% (650 hooks filled) - I could access the Garden One at 51% (below previous cap) - I could access the garden. It looks like something in 5.9.2a has borked the Garden for those of us who used the extra hooks.
