  1. Was this on Darth Malgus, by any chance? I just ran into a lvl70 Sent doing exactly the same thing during a Red Reaper run.
  2. I killed Speedy on one toon and he's gone for all. Sorry, not sorry. However, I managed to get into my Rishi stronghold this afternoon and my beach is covered in... I dunno... eggs?? They're not deco's, there's no hooks even close to them. Am I about to get over-run with turtles, or are they just space-coconuts? https://imgur.com/a/pzlgQak I am genuinely worried now. Edit: it appears to be part of the server burps that we're having at the moment. I went back and they're all gone.
  3. I know this it totally unrelated to the lag issue, but this is something I noticed that wasn't in the patch notes. Did you really ADD another 150 max hooks to the Manaan Stronghold on purpose? Seriously? That place is a pain in the arse to decorate as it is! You dropped my painful slog to 100% back down to 81% in one fell swoop. Ouch!
  4. Try this: Start a chapter where Lana is your main comp, Outlander springs to mind, you should be able to re-clothe her when the initial cut-scene is over. Exit the chapter and do the same with a Theron based chapter, like Disavowed. Then exit that chapter and run through chapter IX to finish one off so it's out of your mission log.
  5. This is hilarious. My 4 year old doesn't even have tantrums like this. Suck it up, snowflake. So you've got to wait a few weeks? Big deal! It's not like you've had the last, I dunno, two years to unlock an Alliance Alert on one freaking toon!. Sheesh!
  6. Nope, still doable. I did it earlier this year. It's worth noting that you can only get the Beastmaster entry for the Isotope-5 droid while on the mission "Old Feuds", which is a Pub-only mission.
  7. Plants. I've used a lot of potted trees and plants at the entrance.
  8. I use the Makeb Pergola on the centrepiece at the entrance in my Manaan stronghold, and a Makeb Canpoy closer to the zoning in spot (to keep you out of that Manaan sun ), both are available from the PvP/Starfighter vendor on the fleet. I personally also think that the Tropical Copero Palms look nice in the entrance area, they drop in the Copero flashpoint. Over on the left, on that centrepiece, I stuck the Copero bar, with a few canopies, tables and stools on the nearby hooks to make a kinda outside bar area. For the underwater hooks, I broke mine down from the centrepiece to smaller hooks and used things like the Yavin ruins, Yavin flora - both from a deco vendor on the fleet - and a few of the Nathema plants dotted around to give the underwater bit a sort of an 'undiscovered archaeological site' look.
  9. Okay, I managed to finally copy a toon to the PTR just so I could have a nose around the new Rishi stronghold... I have to say, and I'm laying all my cards on the table here, not impressed. Okay, I'm not a PvP'er, but I respect those who are, and I'm glad you guys are finally feeling the love. But as a non-PvPer, here's my feedback. Zoning in.. okay, fine. When we first land on Rishi in SoR, we arrive to what? A shanty town... slum... Okay, it's not Coruscant Heights, but it's not too bad. Bear in mind I'm talking about Raider's Cove. The stronghold.... oh dear god... too much junk. Way too much. Dumb it down by at least 80%, put hooks where it was and make the trash piles an easy-to-craft prefab. If people want the trash, they can place it on hooks, if people don't, then they can put what they want there. GET. RID. OF. THE. FLIES. Forced PvP as soon as you step foot off the landing bay. Nope. Not fun. Again, as people have mentioned, let us toggle it in our own strongholds that we are paying cartel coins or hard earned credits for. I get ninja-attacked by my cat as soon as I get home from RL work, I don't want the same as soon as I zone into my Rishi stronghold. So may people above me have posted about hooks, and aesthetics, ambience... and I agree with a lot of them. But for me, this is not a Rishi Stronghold. Rishi is a gorgeous, tropical world full of waterfalls, greenery and laid-back bird people who take each day as it comes. This is a Pirates Cove stronghold, not a Rishi Strnghold,
  10. This was happening to me a few weeks ago after a windows update. I could open the launcher, type everything in and the screen would change resolution, then nothing. The update had somehow managed to roll back the driver on my graphics card and after I fixed that, I had no more problems. Might be worth checking to see if that's your issue too.
  11. People who do Nathema in HM know how the boss heals and deal with it accordingly. People who do Nathema in Vet run around like chickens with their asses on fire. Go figure.
  12. Hammer Station, vet. Get a rare trinity group. Lvl 60 jugg tank, lvl 50 op healer, lvl 70 sorc and yours truly, lvl 70 merc. Tank immediately guards the healer, then promptly runs to the the right to start to clear the trash. I'll wait right here while you work out the left and right sides of the beginning of Hammer Station. Are you back? Yes, so now you can see, we're off to a cracking start. We get to the spider tank boss and wait for the tank to pull. And wait, and wait, and wait.... Me: So, tank, you gonna pull and start this or what? Tank: You're the group leader, you're supposed to pull. Heals: That's not really how it works. You're the tank, you pull. Tank: I'm not the group leader. Group leader pulls. Me (internally): Ugh, fiiiiiinne. I can do this FP on master mode with just me and a comp, I can faceroll it on vet. Usually, I'm a good little DPS. I won't pull if there's a tank, and I won't use kolto if there's a healer. But in this case, since the tank has decided that as I have been designated the group leader, I should pull. So, I pull. And tank the boss. Healer is awesome, by the way, cleansing at all the right times, I don't dip below 95%. Boss dies. Tank: Why the hell did you do that? If you want to tank, roll a tank. Me: Wait, what? Tank: I queued as tank, I should tank the bosses. Heals: Then pull the goddam bosses. Tank: Group leader pulls. Me: If you don't want me getting aggro, guard me. Tank: Healers get guard. Heals: I can stealth out if I get aggro, guard a DPS. Tank: Healers get guarded. I make the tank group leader. He makes me group leader. I make him group leader again. We spend all the time clearing the trash to the next boss playing Group Leader Ping Pong. I give up. This also happens not only with Vorgan, and also for the two cannons before the bridge (Attack the CC'ed one? Well, why the *bleep* not?). It's apparently the fault of myself and the sorc, because we're making it hard for him to tank. Hard. To. Tank. In Hammer Station. VETEREN Hammer Station. I don't know what we were doing wrong. Breathing, probably. And now we're at Kreshan and the tank is waiting for the group leader to pull. And now my vindictive side has rocked up to the party. I whisper the healer and ask him not to heal the tank. The healer gets what I'm about to do and moves to one side. Sorc has cottoned on to what's going to happen and moves as well. I run straight through Kreshan, triggering combat and starting him off with his signature move - Sweeping Gunfire - right onto Darth Snowflake. Snowflake is enraged by this and types out all kinds of different adjectives describing both myself and my mother, but has failed to notice his health dropping like a stone. He dies. The rest of us kill Kreshan, use the console finish the FP. We say our goodbyes and exit the FP, leaving the tank hugging the floor and raging at all of us. Was I petty? Probably, yes. Do I care? Absolutely not. Welcome to my ignore list, Darth Snowflake, enjoy your stay.

    Pilots?

I think they might also have black lights that light up black when something's happened. I understood that reference.
  14. The piece that you linked has a visually equivalent set that can be crafted by Armormechs. https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/defiant-asylum-mk-16-tech/
  15. Yup. It's an FPS/laggy nightmare for pretty much everyone. Usually gets better once you're on the ground again.
  16. If you want to be 'Top DPS' or have a 'Flavour of the Month' toon, then no, Lightning Sorc is not that. It's not in a position to be easily topping the DPS charts right now. Not checked recently, but I think Madness is mid-to-high, feel free to correct me if I am wrong. If you want to play a class needs some attention to detail to get the best out of it, then Sorc is for you. The decision is yours.
  17. The thing shows you the portrait and health/power bars of the person you've got targeted. Some pics, if that helps. Yeah, I know my UI is weird, I have a naga and it works for me. https://imgur.com/a/vvW2BRm
  18. The only place you can see the debuffs you put on something is on the unit frame. There's no way (that I can find) to have them over the nameplates. You can change how the unit frame shows you debuffs in the interface editor. Open it and click on the Target Frame. There you can change the layout of the buffs/debuffs, including size and different ways to sort them. Unfortunately, unlike the player buffs/debuffs, target ones are tied to the unit frame and can't be moved.
  19. Preferences > User Interface > General > uncheck Enable Cover Bar But good grief, you asked this same question three days ago and got multiple replies then.
  20. Preferences > User Interface > General > uncheck Enable Cover Bar
  21. One other thing to consider, do you have a decent UI for healing? Personally, I find it a LOT easier to heal when I use Ops frames when I'm in a group and not the individual group frames. (Preferences > User Interface > Operations Frames > Use Operations Frames as Group Frames) I also have my party buffs scaled really small (Not interested in them, they usually only show the class buffs anyway), have my debuffs quite large. I also uncheck Only show Rermovabe Debuffs and check Show Health Text. (Interface Editor > Operations Frames) Showing all the debuffs, even those I can do naff all about, lets me see why someone's health is dropping like a stone. Granted, it's usually the deadly Standing In The Bad(™) debuff, but it does help, as mousing over the debuff will tell you if you can cleanse it or not. Given time and experience, you'll learn what you can/can't cleanse on your class without checking. Don't get disheartened. Practice in vet flashpoints until you get used to how your skills work together. One day it will all just "click" and you'll wonder what all the fuss was about.
  22. As Steve has pointed out, there are differences between pets that follow you around, look cute(ish) and make annoying noises (mini-pets) and pets that follow you around and bite things on the butt (companions). I'm going to assume that you want one in the first category, but don't want to pay GTN prices for one. In this case, there are a few pets you can get in game via some missions/running around. First one is an egg hunt that can get you one (two?) birds. Dulfy link here Second one takes you to Hoth, where you can freeze your shebs off looking for a baby taunlet. Another Dulfy guide The last one involves quite a bit of planet hopping, frustration and generally questioning why you thought this was a good idea in the first place. But on the upside, you come out with three pets, a stronghold decoration and a legacy title. Obligatory Dulfy link If you wanted a "bite on the butt" type of pet, then the GTN is the only way to get one, unless you pray to RNjesus for a licence drop from the right cartel pack.
  23. Star Fortress drops disappeared when they initially swapped all gearing to be solely from Galactic Command. At that point all 'gear drops' were removed. When token drops/boss loot were re-introduced to the game, I guess Star Fortresses got overlooked. It might get fixed, it might not. Don't hold your breath, Star Fortresses were, and still are, a PITA to re-run just for gear/decos. There's a difference between stuff you can rip from token/crate gear and stuff that other people can craft. You cannot currently RE anything crafted by another player, and you have not been able to since Galactic Command dropped and the ability to buy certain schematic using comms was removed. I know this, because I was fortunate enough to snap up the comms only crystal schematics before they disappeared. Mods/Enh etc ripped from GC gear is in 'the 60/100% chance to learn' category and so can currently be RE'ed.
  24. "Hey, Skadge, got you your own personal room. It's over here away from the skinny broad, the little twerp trying to walk tall and the belly-achin' dandy. Please, don't trip over the lil' squeakin' thing on your way over. It's nice, roomy. No one will ever invade your space. Feel free to make it your own. Go in, look around. See it even has it's own dedicated doorbell." *slaps button* "Ooopsie! Was that the air-lock? My bad......"
