That is the reason why f2p don't bother with contributing to the mmo part of the game. 99% f2p just play the game like single player game while hogging bandwidth and then leave after they are done. those who would actually play the game for mmo part don't even bother playing the game after a certain point, usually when they run out of quick bar. this situation doesn't help subscribers any way, that is why i keep asking for removal of quick bar restriction, fp and wz restriction so that we would have more f2p actually playing the mmo part and making faster queue pop. but highly self entitled and "intelligent" subscriber base of this game can not go beyond "i pay, they don't pay" argument. I guess ignorance is a bliss.

it was same for 55 content until the nim version of DF and gf ops came out. then eaware decided to make things easier for raiders so that they can easily get into NiM DF. no need to go crazy over this. -

WoW does not have "f2p", it is clearly described as "unlimited free trial upto 20". And apparently you never played Rift, go check their f2p model, best f2p model there is and there will be, recently they released a HUGE, VERY VERY HUGE expansion(same in quantity and quality as the WoD) and gave it away free to all players. where in swtor even subscribers are being charged for "expansions" forget about f2p..

swtor_potato wrote that there is a possibility on patch day patches will be available only with 2 files, in that case those 4 files we would download from the link may not be usable and even if they would be usable after patching they might totally mess up entire installation and we won't be able to further update the game. That is why i was asking for confirmation from the team if these files are the final patch data or if they will be modified. -
Read the article here : See i have got a pretty slow connection and considering how thousands of players will try to download patch tomorrow it will be even slower. the method described in the above post suits my connection better as i can start download right now. But if someone from swtor team can confirm if those files are the final update files then it would be really a life saver for me. Thanks in advance.

You are happy they released couple of easy mode fp, only 3 new ops, 1 pseudo ops, some pvp map and some of the most wanted features that should have been here since launch in the lifetime of 2.0-2.10(which is nearly 2 years) but you are now worried they are releasing a major update as fast as possible? i don't understand the logic and i don't understand what WoD have to do SWTOR at all, WoW players will always play WoW, they might get bored and pick some other game for a while but in the end they will go back there. SW series have their own fanbase and own players, WoD has no effect on SoR release.

I am not a PvP player but even i find that kind of PvP objectives on open world very much fun. not gonna name but used to play a game where every hour there were 4 different pvp event started on 4 different places. objectives were just like the ones i mentioned, it was so much fun, guilds used to fight each other even on PvE server just for the fun of it. it had 15 minute time limitations and at the end of 15 minute most of the time no one could complete objective simply because they were too busy fighting each other, it was so much competitive and fun. There was a 6 hour rotation 1 hour long event too and it had bigger reward thus almost all guilds in server were competing for it. wish swtor had something like that here...

That's a bonkers statement. go back and look at all the dev talks EAWare did before releasing this game. by the term "story driven" EAWare did mean "class story driven". -
Yeah sure but we are not solely talking about ganking here. Just because a quest is in pvp area and has a pvp tag doesn't mean it is a pvp quest and those 2 quests are not pvp quests, just look at the objectives. those 2 quests had been executed in a half-*** manner. me and op are asking that give us "REAL" pvp quests, we have to charge up pylon? sure let us charge it with killing enemy faction, we have to scan vehicles? sure why not? just let us get the scanners from killing enemy players. they screwed up with previous ilum open world pvp aspect and then decided to dunk it. and after that we get this ****. ridiculous!!

Yes it did, i realized how horrible the rewards from class story are. the game specifically advertise itself as "story driven" yet the reward from story quests are nothing but crap. i am forced to craft to even continue after level 30. reward from class quest needs to be better if the game really wants to keep being a truly "story driven" experience. -

So where will we get that quest? fleet or our ship holoterminal? say i never did makeb and my ship holoterminal has a quest marker, if now new class mission is also assigned to be taken from ship holoterminal, what will happen?

The basic saber stribe that inquisitor/consular gets at start should be replaced by a 10M range force attack when they choose sorc/sage. this attack would cost no force and would be a dot and each tick would restore force a little. consumption/noble sacrifice should also be removed.

FPS issue in 16 men instances 1st started with 2.9.0. Just before server shutdown for 2.9.0 me and several people were in 16 men HM DF, and i was playing with high texture resolution, high character texture, high shader complex, very high visibility, 2X anisotropic filtering and everything else off, was playing with 30 FPS. after server came online i entered game and suddenly in fleet my fps went to 5, waited about 5 min and it did not go up. so toned down graphics, anisotropic set to disabled, character quality to low, texture to low, shader to very low and visibility to low and fps went to 30 again. after 2.10.0 patch it went downhill again and no matter how much i lower my graphics even going to 800X600 doesn't get my fps to 30 ever and it is a nightmare in 16 men pvp and pve instances. i stopped doing pvp and 16 men ops altogether. i wonder if things will go better with 3.0. we also need 64 bit client.

If they make those 2 HM they will not have any other FP to recycle and sell as "new content" in their next 4.0 "makeb size expansion".
