  1. No. The game for me has been an all round disappointment. There are elements of PvP I do not enjoy and elements of PvE I do not enjoy. The game does not give me any sense of immersion. I have stopped playing to play Dark Souls for a while now and wait for GW2.
  2. What's with all the terrible music before it? Get rid of that trash! Just wasted like 3 mins of my life on it! Also the interviewer is terrible. Lots of teenage giggles and pop culture references. Seems like an 1990's MTV interview.
  3. The lower levelled flashpoints don't offer much of a challenge and there is no reason to play them once you have out levelled them. Far less lower levelled FP's should have been in the game and much more end game content. Everyone eventually gets to end game if they don't quit and the levelling process only happens once. As such we all bypass the low end FP's as we are engaged by the story based questing to level, and when we get to 50 and run a low FP its seems boring and easy. So instead we skip them and we run the high level FP's. When they are done it's time for operations. As was stated earlier. This game has some much content that is pointless and so much dev time seems to have been wasted on it. We also have lots of bugs and issues with the game. It would have been far more prudent to include less FP's and make them game run better and have more implemented features upon release.
  4. Oh no, you posted in blue text. You must be really important or at least think you are! Seriously, whenever I see someone post in a colour that isn't the board default, it sets of my teenager trying to "express them self" alarm & I skip the post. If what you are about to say is worth reading leave it in default post colour as it will more likely be rad by others and not skipped. You may have some points in the passage but I will never know as you chose blue text.
  5. Because the most played class threw its toys out of the pram when a Operative managed to kill them. They got so used to being so OP they had to QQ when something managed to defeat their greatness. Unfortunately they have to please the biggest crowd to keep more subs. Therefore the lowest played class has been nerfed to please the most played and already OP class.
  6. Stamina does need to be implemented into an MMO. Something that has a combat mechanic similar to Dark Souls would work really well. I would love to see MMO combat one day become a case of attacking/blocking/parrying controlled by the user opposed to being just a battle of stats.
  7. The customer service in this game is beyond appalling. In relation to bans etc EA are the most heavy handed. Google EA forum banned or swtor banned "I am 12 what is this?" and you will see what I mean. Enjoying the game but what you claim in your OP could not be further from the truth.

  9. I believe the following would fix the burst/cc issue that exists with the operative and unlike the proposed changes, I think this would not gimp the class or effect its PvE DPS. At Present via talents Op/Scoundrels are able to put a 3 sec cc on our opener. Sorry to use WoW ability names but this is basically giving a rogue Ambush and Cheap shot combined. People don't like being burst down so much in an opener CC. The proposed fix is to nerf the damage and the cc (also the ArPen buff) the opener gives. A far better solution is to make it so that no CC can be talented on the current opener. This opener should stay high burst (lets call it Ambush) but should not CC the target. The 2 talent points spent in giving this a 3 sec CC should instead open a new ability. This ability should be a CC opener that does no damage. 1 point would unlock the ability with xx time of CC and the 2d point would extend the CC. Lets say either 1/2 secs or 1.5/3 secs. This would give the Op/Scoundrel 2 openers, one burst damage the other CC. Cheap shot and Ambush would become separate moves (like they should be) and the Op/Scoundrel would have to chose between CC or damage on the opener. This means that it would not be possible to burst them down in a CC. The choice would be burst or CC opener and not both. Please if you think this is a good solution keep the thread alive. This fix for the class would potentially save it from changing from OP FOTM to underpowered and useless. With this change the class would stay on par but would lose it's OP edge. Lets not see Op/scoundrels become the Rogues of Rift. They were moaned about in PvP burst and had no use in PvE unless you were a bard.

  11. Same problem. Had a ticket open far ages. Customer service either non existent or totally incompetent. If you buy SWTOR hope that you never need customer support.
  12. Yes. There is more interesting content for me to experience by skipping quests with the time I have free to play. Besides, 80% of the quests are the same thing rehashed into another "different" quest. OK the game is story driven but I don't play MMORPG's mainly for a story driven game. I Play for the mainly MMO aspect s I believe the best RPG's are single player.
  13. Meh. The Founder title is a lame title and due to the reason behinds it's issue, it also has no degree of coolness to it. Uncool looking title. Uncool reason for owning it. Meh.
  14. There is a work bench on your ship. When ever you set a crew skill you will see the companion sent working at the crew skill table. This causes duplicates of your companions to appear in your ship. As a republic Scoundrel I have also notices Risha appears to be stood at two terminals in different rooms in your ship at once. She seems to occupy to spaces at the same time. If I set her doing a crew skill I can actually make it so 3 instances of her exist in my ship at once!
  15. The problem is how we all accept a non working game which will be developed while we sub. We are the idiots that perpetuate this industry and allow it to rip us right off. Would this happen in cinema? You pay a ticket to see a film/movie that has poor acting in places to be told that new actors will re-act that scene later using the money we paid to see the film to film the new scenes. People need to stop buying games that are released early. Make the devs have to finish a game before we make them millionaires.

  18. PvP is such a joke in this game. I came to it to play PvP. I therefore will quit after this month. I don't care if you don't care, it's all irrelevant. You can surely agree however in it's current state, PvP is a joke and the changes the devs make show they have no idea at all.
  19. PvP should happen on a set of battleground armour that is normalized so all characters have the same respective stats. With this the game is balanced and the defining factor is win/loss is skill and teamwork. Having any gear having any impact on PvP instantly affects balance. Gear for PvE where the opponent AI. PvP needs stat-less gear for complete balancing. Players should join a BG and have all their items removed and replaced with the BG gear set that all chars have. Obv there would be light, medium and heavy but that is all. No stats on gear at all.
  20. Yeah this is a no brainer. Draw distance on players/mobs should be very high, even if terrain isn't.
  21. ^^ This. Rift was a great launch and had great CS. They also deployed patches very quickly opposed to having hours of downtime on certain days. On Rift if there was a problem, a fix was made, all servers down for 10 mins followed by a patch. Done.
