How feasible is it to create a solo-mode tutorial map that let's us choose any ship, and allows us to fly around unmolested? I think an updated tutorial mode would help with friction.

Theron Shan returns your ship to you once you reach a certain point in the story. At this point, our starships are empty and we can no longer have companion conversations or story cutscenes. So, there no longer is an issue of letting players decorate starships as they would no longer conflict with cutscenes, companions, etc.

for which class? for Jedi Consular it was: Qyzen = Tank or DPS Theran = Heal or DPS Zenith = DPS Iresso = Tank or DPS Nadia = DPS and if I recall, DPS could be either armor penetration stance or DoT stance. And both tanks & healers could enter a quasi DPS stance.

all classes have a mobility build, it's up to the player to take what they need. A good amount of issues players are having can be solved by first asking "what utilities do you use?".

Tanking in full tank gear is useful in pvp if you're really good at getting the other team to attack you instead of your allies. And of course, is good for defending nodes.

Giving all players a 248 bolster doesn't mean all players have optimized stats, even at max level gear. So what if everyone gets bolstered up to 248 and PVP-gear progression & UCs are for PVPers who want to tweak their stats and squeeze out more dps/hps/etc

The forums represent a small percentage of the overall player-base, according to the devs. No one can know how everybody thinks, how does it serve us? Based off charles' post it seems like the games' story in constantly shifting writers, ideas & directions. No expansion has been the same as any before it, it doesn't matter if you liked kot__ or not, nothing like it will ever probably be made again.

What did they do with their sorc / what about their playstyle could other sorcs learn from?

They only showed us 2 classes and they seem to only be showing us one at a time and on every friday. I don't think we're going to be able to last much longer, can't take all this time in between. And I have no way to know what's what in the end until I get to play the classes myself. Even after they get through the dmg changes, they still have the utilities, so this is going to tear us all apart until we get to see everything in it's entirety.

I like the word finesse. Sorcs can self heal and force cleanse. They have an oh **** bubble for being focused (Force Barrier) and an escape (Phase Walk). Sorc should be an example for other classes. Mercs have access to 3 oh **** bubbles/buttons for being focused which might be a mistake. Same reason Assassins don't have Phase Walk and Force Cloak; class shouldn't have 2 escapes. Melee has some anti-kiting tools but that should be the point for countering. Still, sorcs can be really quick n mobile and they don't make it easy for melee.
