  1. Their slow is pretty ridiculous though. It has something like 50% uptime if I'm not mistaken. Have fun trying to kite like that.
  2. Not completely. They left the grind in there. I'd be enjoying the game much more if I could avoid fighting mobs for 20 minutes straight to get the objective of my story. The boring mmo combat to interesting story ratio is way off.
  3. MMO fatigue is already setting in for me slightly. I wish there were less pointless mob grinding so I could experience the story better. Well, at least it'll keep me entertained for my free month, and gw2 is on the horizon.
  4. Definately isn't too hard. Its nice that theres a bit of a challenge while leveling now and again.
  5. Its completely silly that this is not in. This game is missing features left and right.
  6. Having to slug it out with low damage abilities as a healer against npc's has nothing to do with how you're supposed to play your class at max level. Healing flashpoints does. If you have dual specs, more people are going to have a leveling spec and a healing/tank spec for instances. That means that those people learn to play their class better, and that there are more tanks and healers to go around. Limiting people to either slow leveling as a healer or fast leveling as a dps with no ability to heal, means that a lot of people is going to choose just not healing/tanking while leveling and therefore suck at their role when they hit 50 and start doing instances. Nostalgic people are the reason we cannot have nice things.
  7. Welcome to the world of 0 healers anywhere till max level.
  8. Actually yes. I personally didnt bother with lowlevel dungeons when lvling in wow before wrath. When you have the convenience of being able to quest while looking for a group, its much easier to run the lowlevel stuff.
  9. Thats basically what wow did back in the day, and it seemed to work well for them.
  10. Ah! I knew one of you types would show up sooner or later.
  11. Its rather silly tbh. I guess its a byproduct of the fact that the game is not actually ready to be released yet. I mean we're nearly in 2012 and there isn't even an option to turn on AA ingame. With regards to UI. Rift actually surprised me pleasantly earlier this year when I picked it up. It had pretty much a fully custimizable UI, and I believe you could set up proc warnings and the like. These features have also been a stable of addons for WoW for ages, so I'm kinda baffled as to why bioware decided to go with the worst possible model for this.
  12. Eh the hundreds of pages of december preorders thread suggests otherwise. There is no chance there is only 300 preorderes in december.
  13. You realize the starting areas are instanced anyway? It wouldn't be a problem no matter how many people were there.
  14. Kinda weird that you wont let the players you're talking about play. Seeing as how you love us so much and all.
  15. I dunno if its better or worse than having mostly everything black and loading everytime you alt-tab.
  16. Not in the beginning, but most likely in the long run yes.
  17. Probably not. I'm reading UP TO last week as up to about the 20th nov.
  18. Just keep the waves coming and dont take an 18 hour break every day.
  19. Thtas like saying to a customer at the place you work: "Just drink your cold coffee and be grateful I didnt spit in it"
  20. Super great. That greyed out play button is very entertaining, I've got to say.
