  1. Sub cancelled. The fact that they are now asking for feedback after the fact means that they know they screwed up, probably knew before the patch went live, and yet they pushed it anyway. Nope, I will take my money elsewhere.
  2. I had some issues with it last week, but this week I was able to make two lvl 60 toons with no issue. Not sure if it was really fixed of if the system just finally caught up after so many toons were made.
  3. I just came back after a long hiatus and it has taken me some time to get back into the swing of the Veng rotation. I mostly play PvE, so what would everyone say the focus should be as far as rotation? It seems Ravage has lost a little bit of its importance, but for single target dps it still seems to me to be pretty integral to our rotation. Am I maybe going about it incorrectly here? What I have had to get use to is the DoT spread. I have been trying to train myself to attack the stronger mobs first rather than the weaker ones, and use our DoT spread to AoE the weaker mobs. I have to admit I am surprised to see how extremely effective Veng Juggs have become with AoE damage. The spec definitely does seem easier to play then it ever has been before.
  4. I will say I have noticed this, but considering the amount of mats available for harvest out there now and the fact that Biochem only uses two different green mats, I can live with it...lol.
  5. Same on Shadowlands. Just did the Revan fight on my second toon and it is really unplayable. Horrendous ability lag. I could not even land an interrupt because of the lag.
  6. Not sure where the issue is here. First toon I was 59 when I got to Revan, and that was with already having completed Forged Alliances. Second toon hit 60 before getting to Revan, and that included having to do Manaan and Rakata Prime in Forged Alliances. Heck, second toon just rolled 59 as I was leaving Rishi. I had 8% guild, XP Boosts and a lot of rested xp. I did all missions and bonuses once.
  7. And I agree, credits are easily made, and I for one have already made back what I have spent on the two toons I have leveled to 60 already. But the point is we have paid $20 to basically beta test this expansion, between all the bugs, the lag, and now this late change with the ability training costs. It is the principle of the matter, not so much the credits.
  8. You obviously have missed the point of the complaints.
  9. I am pretty irritated about the timing of this decision. I know for myself that I had two characters to 60 before this announcement was made. So that puts me at over 1.5 million credits spent on ability training. It is really terrible customer service and I hope they will come up with something to compensate those dedicated fans that bought into the pre-order. I won't even get started on all the bugs. That said, I have enjoyed the content and overall class and discipline changes greatly, and I applaud BW for the direction and ideas. But this will be the last time I pre-order anything for this game. I will not pay to be a beta tester
  10. Ok, who killed Revan with working mechanics! You broke the server!
  11. Yeah I got it as well. Seems to have went down.
  12. I feel like they are trying to keep inflation in check a little bit. Prices have gotten quite ridiculous over the last year or two. Between this and the incredible abundance of new crafting materials on the new planets (I am sure I am not the only one who has noticed) this seems to be they are putting some focus into keeping the economy from getting out of control. It is a nice thought at least...lol.
  13. I have been able to consistently get the fissures to spawn at 65% by pulling Revan to the outside ring of the arena. He leaps to the middle, pulls everyone with him, and then fissures spawn and I can release the NPCs. I have tried three times to use the same tactic at 35% and I have not yet been able to get the fissures to spawn. This bug has really shaken my support of BW. I actually think they did a pretty good job with the expansion overall, but major game breaking bugs like this, on a story line that realistically has been developed over a decade now (beginning with KOTOR), is just disappointing. I have no doubt it will be fixed soon, more than likely on Tuesday, but this kind of issue should not even be put live. QC/QA department management might need to be looked at with some scrutiny.
  14. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231090 My laptop that so far has obliterated everything I have tried on full settings, to include CoD Ghosts, SWTOR, Borderlands 2, HL2, Wildstar Beta, Battlefield 4.....Ok, BF4 I had to turn down just a smidge...lol. Also, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231631. For $120 more, you bump up to a GTX870 from the GTX770 in the above model. No need to go that overboard on price unless you just have the cash to blow. These two are already expensive enough. Edit: Oh, and I run HDMI to a 42" 1080P TV/Monitor at full 1920x1080 res.
  15. I see this as a result of the current state of operations and tactical flashpoints. In SM Ops and the tac flashpoints, a lot of the time you can ignore mechanics that will wipe the group in HM content. The problem is that many people will never see HM Ops, and so they never learn about these mechanics. How are you supposed to be able to function into HM and NiM content if you can't properly even learn the basic mechanics in SM? And with 2.8 it will just get worse. There seems to be a real issue as well with people just flat out not knowing their class. I really do not know of a solution to fix this. I mean, yeah you can power level to quickly get to 55, but you still have to use all your abilities at some point. I find it very frustrating when a healer does not know what cleanse is, or a tank that does not know how to prioritize tank targets, or dps that do not know that they should kill weakest to strongest when killing trash. Other than teaching on the fly, which I do not mind offering advice, I am not sure how this could be corrected in the leveling process. Maybe some story boss encounters can be adjusted to require the use of different mechanics and abilities to really train the player in their class?
