  1. Dude your DPS for your gearing was awesome. My best was 1340 on a short fight. If you look at min/max values of some of our damaging abilities, yours seems a little high if you look at my stats. So that doesnt seem right. Unless you were using the dummy at the same time as someone else I guess.   2. For those that are curious about other Classes. I have a 10 minute parse (was asked to do this, so RNG had less effect, I also have 3 minute parses, and 5 minute parses), that has me doing 1300 DPS as a commando. Full rakata. Adrenal, rakata stim.   3. Give me a 6-8 minute dummy parse where you dont use RS. Would love to see it. I sustain 1300 DPS whilst using RS.
  4. By my calculations there is a 25% damage loss on HSM currently. Simply put, our own 5 stack of debuff ont he target, no longer applies to our own skill.

However, that hasnt been tested here.

A discrepency of 100-500 would be justifiable to RNG, 1200, now that has some explaining to do.
  7. This is beyond stupid. My max Demo Round is hitting for 1200 less on an 8 minute+ parse. Compared to an 8+ minute parse from pre patch. No other debuffs on the target, How does that work?

  9. What numbers is your gunslinger getting, and what numbers was your commando getting? Apologies, but until people post actual numbers, I dont believe **** that they say. Especially with the use of words like "dropped disturbingly." Not trying to make this personal, but too many people spread misinformation.
  10. We fit the criteria of Burst DPS in PvP. If you dont believe so, I'm pretty shocked. My 5-7k DR crits are more than enough reason. I've been going fine in PvP. Went 450k Damage in Voidstar (5-6 uses of MV), I couldnt be happier with where our class sits right now.
  11. Yeah I always do a massice burn phase before I use RC, I'll get down to 2-4 ammo. In pve, I link this up with inspiration as much as I can.
  12. I click on the link but I only get log view, and not analytical view. You able to try and link the analytical view again? It comes up with this message: No fights were detected. You may, however, use the "By time" feature to specify your own time window to parse.
  13. Yeah that about right. IIRC one tank was doing 600 DPS, the other was doing 500.

  15. Yeah Ill def try an 8 minute pass. So many times I have ****ed my ammo up though. Or started it in PvP gear. Will do it in the next hour.
  16. Some of my enhancements were switched for crit/surge ones. Ok here were my stats prior to the fight: Stats Tech: Bonus Damage 820 Accuracy 110.27 Critical Chance 37.74% Surge 71.31% Activation speed 4.00% Ranged Bonus Damage 501.0 Accuracy 100.27% Critical Chance 36.82% Surge 71.31% I am fully raid buffed - all class buffs, stim etc. Standard rotation is pretty much prioritising FA when CoF procs. I roll my Demo Round and HiB straight after a Grav round. It feels more comfortable that way. So i'll never do: GR -> HiB -> Demo Round. It will always be: Grav Round -> HiB OR Grav Round -> DR Personally ive found Reserve Powercell + Mortar Volley to be the best combo to recharge cells. Ill get around to doing a 5minute Parse.

  19. Aman-Ra, i'll give you some of my own findings (they may differ from the OP), but what I have found is that in order to maximise DPS, FA needs to be used everytime its up. I start off my rotation with 3x GR, followed by a DR, followed by FA. From then on, I use: GR + HiB GR + DR GR + HS (Hammershot) The goal is to proc your FA - as FA is your best damaging attack. So basically what I found was, I would be mashing my GR button, in order to not miss a beat, and all of a sudden FA would proc its off CD and I would be half way through another GR. Using the aforementioned 3 groupings of GR, I would then see easily when FA comes off CD, and be able to use that straight after. I am still tweaking my rotation, and this might not be the way to do it. Time will tell though! In a ~4 minute fight with the dummy, these were the figures: Full Auto - 109 000 - 34% Grav Round - 90k - 28% Demo Round - 55 500 - 17% HiB - 32 000 - 10% Hammer Shot- 22 000 - 7% Trinket - 7 000 - 2% Mortar Volley - 5 000 - 1.5% Total DPS time was 258 seconds. DPS was 1 242. Full raid buffed. No adrenal, no other debuffs.
  20. No need to post my tree, Its pretty much common sense - its a pvp/pve hybrid - so I get the FA slow. If you look at any of the other threads, I have posted numbers. Numbers from ops, numbers from boss practice dummies. I wasnt gonna spam them in every single thread. PvP is hard to give empirical data, because topping the damage chart does not mean as much as people tend to believe. However, if our DPS is PvE is competitive, then surely it will be the same in PvP (my own finding have concluded the same). As a commando, you need to be very aware of your surroundings, more so than many of the other classes. You need to be dynamic, as your rotation is very static. My problem is the amount of people coming in here and whinging, when they dont put up their own numbers.
  21. Schwiz, can you please give some hard numbers? Like what exactly was the gunnery number you pulled, and the assault?
  22. Yeah 8 man was one shottable with bare information on the fight. Havnt tried 16 man yet.
  23. Yeah agreed with Genshen. Just tanked it on Hm a few hours ago. My vanguard mate would taunt as his target was mid leap. That caused the taunt to fail. This could be one reason you're having issues. Because it really is as simple as taunt and move.
