  1. Same here. I thought it was intentional at first, but then I saw that others could use it and I could hear them, so it must be broken for some. It's not just arenas, either, it's all warzones. I wonder why.
  2. Using Force Kick in a DPS rotation on a defenseless dummy. Yep, that looks legit all right.
  3. After having played around with it, I have to agree. Not only is it still viable, it's a lot more fun now that smash ALWAYS hits the primary target even if you get knocked back. No more wasted smashes. As a burst spec, it is still king of the mountain, and yes I can still pass 1 million damage with it just like I can with Vengeance. It's not auto-win for top damage anymore, but it's still really, really easy to get top damage. I will say, there's something viscerally satisfying about charging a sniper and then making him explode.

  7. Yeah, but that guy got insanely lucky. His usual parse is 3950, and even though he only had 43 Crit Rating, his crit rate was a whopping 40% for that parse. That's double the amount of crits he should have gotten, especially considering Anni has no auto crit talents. In a real fight he won't be pulling anywhere near those numbers. The ramp up time is still there. Anything that's not a sit-there-and-hit-it will have him pulling less than Vengeance.
  8. I noticed this too. Hypergate appears to be the only map where this disparity continues to exist. Someone accidentally forgot to put the turn-ins on the Impside spawn point.
  9. Saw a guy on my server who I will not name, worst Jugg I have ever seen. No stance for 2 straight days, clearly using rage spec moves. Next week I see him again on the other team, finally has a stance on... Soresu form. The arena says he is a DPS. I go to fight him and I hear the telltale crack of force crush. He is still rage spec, using soresu form. Not for taunt or guard, he used neither. Presumably, he wanted more armor and didn't read any of the rage spec tooltips that say they require shii-cho form. Wouldn't surprise me if he was using a shield generator either. He ended round 1 with 4000 damage. Round 2 he did 0. I cried inside and I thanked god he wasn't on my team. I had told my team not to worry because he was terribad. When they saw the numbers to prove it, their jaws hit the floor.
  10. The Jugg bonus? Not like the marauder bonus does anything for us in PvP like it does in PvE. And if you use PvE set bonus gear in PvP, please slap yourself for us.
  11. In all honesty, it's more effective to upgrade your mod/enhancements first and then worry about the armoring later, and mod/enh need reg comms as well as ranked comms.
  12. I have been really lucky on Jedi Covenant -- only one bad player in all of my queues today, and the queues are hopping. In fact, lots of the same good, geared players are showing up in my games, which is always nice to see. I really AM glad for the new daily. Nice work!

  17. I agree with everything here. TDM has ammo refill yellow power ups, so they wouldn't be totally screwed if they ran out. Would also give more value to fully charged shots. Also, Verain, your doom and gloom isn't convincing anyone that wasn't already convinced. I fly nothing but bomber in Domination and I think an ammo limit is perfectly acceptable. Oh, and PS, 80% of my kills as a bomber are with my heavy lasers, and I don't feel helpless at all because I'm in a flying tank with twice the health and shields of everything else, on top of an engine component that restores my shields every 5 seconds. I can facetank anything that doesn't have 100% shield piercing in my Razorwire. My mines are just an insurance policy. Another thing, out of curiosity... why the hell are minelayers "boy bombers" and the dronecarriers "girl bombers"? That terminology is really off-putting to me.
  18. It seems to be related to the roll. The last time this happened to me, I was on my Operative, and was rolling out of spawn onto the ground in Voidstar (the first cap). A sage knocked my teammates and me all back, and once I landed, my operative could do nothing but wiggle his feet in place, even while "standing still". /stuck wouldn't free me, and the game kept telling me I couldn't roll while immobilized, even though I had no immobilize on me. We didn't have a sorc pull, so I was permanently stuck, and though I did get killed, I was still stuck when I went back to spawn. My hypothesis is that the roll puts a temporary immobilize on you to stop you suddenly after the forward roll, for just a split second, then it removes it when your character stands up. When another player interrupts you at the precise moment when it's supposed to remove the "immobilized" flag from your character, it overrides that action, and the game thinks you're still immobilized. The only times I've had this happen to me are when I'm on my Agent, and I have plenty of alts who all PvP constantly. It never happens on any of my other characters, but it happened twice on my Agent within the same week.
  19. This does work -- I just got the Arkanian War Leader implant schematic, but only the Arkanian, Underworkd, and DF implants are RE-able. The others are not. This means you'll need a progression group to get a shot at any of it.
  20. I agree this should be changed. They did it for Sorc/Sage, so Merc/Mando should get parity too. An instant KB is necessary for an overwhelmed ranged class. Even the Jugg push counts as Instant, even if it doesn't animate right away, because the target is unable to act the second the button is pressed.
  21. Accuracy isn't worthless in PvP - you just don't need much. 5% over base covers everyone's base chance to dodge. You get 1% from companion and 3% from talents, so only need 1% from gear. With no accuracy at all, you will notice a huge difference. Sorcs and sages parrying your force charge, thus dodging the immobilize, is the worst. I find that the best trade off in a pvp build is only 1 point in enraged sunder. 6 rage sunder is fine in pvp because we get hit, kicking in our passive rage generation, so we rarely need that 1 extra rage. Overwhelm is awesome for pvp, and I immediately feel it when it's not there. Ruin is good too. Smash is a good skill to use in a close quarters battle, and you don't want it killing your rage.
  22. To be honest, it did feel like it wasn't taking away all the extra healing since the patch. You used to really feel it when it dropped but now it's much less harsh. This confirms my suspicions.
