Eric - is there any way possible that we can understand the population breakout of the merged servers by percentage? I would like to make sure I have my characters in the most populated server, post-merge, as possible.

Look for someone with enjin already, they just added more api's to their site and skinning/themeing in enjin is much better than guildlaunch.

This thread is sad. The amount of people QQ'ing about unload is pathetic. You should be diverting all your QQ to whats now going on in PTS, not an ability you couldn't even fully fit into a proper rotation. You had to clip it to make it work in DPS specs. Every quality PT would not use it as it would ruin clean rotations. Complaining about the loss of it for avoiding mechanics from ranged? Assassin's laugh at your plight right now. To bring it back they would have to make it 10m (as they're on a melee attack right now), and tanks would definitely lose it. So who would use it then? Only really bad PTs at that point, which appears to be 80% of this thread.

I would argue that Kuat Drive Yards (KDY) is much better than someone questing solo all their levels. You DO learn mechanics, tanking, healing, and synergy in KDY. Every KDY has a random final boss that specifically goes over this and every KDY has a lot of trash to clear, as a group. Often times, when stuck with only DPS, you really have to learn how to synergize with non-optimal group makeup. You can learn a lot more in a KDY than you can doing class quests, planet missions, and soloing through all the levels. All you've got when you are solo is a companion.

I am the same as some others here, I couldn't take the video seriously with the neckbeard. Long hair is not bad tie it up a bit or something. You look like you just got out of the shower and randomly decided to do a video. If you really want to rock the neckbeard then put some beard oil in it and brush it good before the video or something. I have a beard and have grown my longer at some points, doing everything i could to keep it groomed and looking presentable. This is not even an insult, this is a straight and honest - if you want to be taken seriously you need to take yourself seriously, especially as Soulcaster said, when you're posting on an MMO forum. Video quality is good, just clean up man! That said the moment they overbuff Mercs survivability i'll hop on my merc and ride the FOTM wave so keep on championing for more and more buffs guys!

If someone doesn't want to have to do any basic research, to at the least start out with some knowledge of what to narrow their search to rather than just a blanket "I need a guide for everything plz", MMO's are not for them. dulfy show s up on the first page of any search related to SWTOR PvE, so it takes 2 minutes to realize that dulfy is the place to go for that. Then you notice wow dulfy uses youtube to host operation guides, lets see what else youtube has. Oh guides for everything from datacron hunting to every flashpoint. hmmm.

There was a data mine of all PvP season play and Bastion by far had more people participating so, while I'm glad you had a good experience yourself on PoT5, there is other data out there that contradicts your experiences. I unfrortunately can't find it again, I think it was posted in the PvP section or on reddit. Also, I PvE a lot as well and that part specifically, finding pugs, has dropped off considerably on PoT5. It's harder and harder to find pugs compared to other servers. They still happen, but on the larger population PvE servers, it happens more. But, like I said, I'm glad your experiences were good as PoT5 is like my "home". I'm going to miss the one guy talking about Thor all the time. Maybe he can write out 20 different Thor facts and I can spread the gospel on Ebon Hawk. Hey Soulcaster! Yes that's me. Pax Republica is still working hard to drive activity on PoT5 and just had a guild meeting to determine how to help the server as a whole. So, my moving away was a bit tougher as Pax Republica is a very strong community. To have to move servers and loving my guild, it was a tough choice to make and one I'm admittedly bitter Bioware had me make.

Hey all, I recently completed transferring all my characters from PoT5. I was wondering if there are any guilds on either faction that do raiding with a start time of 6pm, 7pm, 8pm eastern? I wake up for work at 4:45AM so it's tough raiding late for me, a start time of 9pm means 11pm to 12am end time which is brutal for me. Thanks! -Soulless Ginger

Hey all, Due to the population on PoT5, I've transferred servers. No more Soulless Ginger roaming around. I was holding out for awhile, hoping Bioware would merge PoT5, but I just gave up. It was either quit the game or try another server. I am posting here because even though not many may know me, I enjoyed this server while I was here and I wanted to say best of luck. I hope they merge you all eventually. If you want PvP, Bastion is your hope for activity. If you want PvE, then Harbinger or Ebon Hawk - depending on your coast. Take care and will miss PoT5 - one of the most crazy general chats there will ever be in a game.

Oh no, I agree. I just try to rationalize that they are there for a purpose other than their own carelessness and/or lack of understanding.

A In-game representative has assisted with this issue. I'll be submitting a specific bug in-game on this issue, but want the community to know what was discovered with the "Completed Bounty Contract" tokens that are used as currency to purchase items related to the Bounty Broker Association. The Completed Bounty Contracts have a bug where if you drop the item or item(s) over another item where they aren't supposed to stack with, such as gear or another kind of item, the Contracts drop to a slot you cant see: slot 101. If you mail more to a character suffering from this, they also go to slot 101 of your inventory because they are stacking with the existing item. So the mail part isn't a bug, it's doing as intended. The bug is only when you drop the Completed Bounty Contract over another random item, and it moves somehow to slot 101 (we don't have 101 slots so it effectively disappears and only customer service can see it). EXCELLENT customer service, let me reproduce the issue to verify which will make it MUCH easier to fix for developers. Live chat was used effectively and the representative that gave me the extra time to reproduce it really really did a great job.

Really horrible issue with the Completed Bounty Contracts for the BBA event: 1.) Moving the Completed Bounty Contracts ontop of anything in your personal inventory (by accident) will make them "disappear" into whatever you dropped it on top of. 2.) Mailing Completed Bounty Contracts to your other characters will cause the contracts to DISAPPEAR. - UPDATE: They only disappear if there is already one or more Bounty Contracts stuck in slot 101 - read second post for more information. I have lost a lot of Completed Bounty Contracts becauase I did not know what was going on at first. Over 30 Completed Bounty Contracts I'm currently out of. As an FYI - already created an in-game support ticket to catalog every time one or more disappears and the condition with which they disappear. I am posting here to let others know what NOT to do with their Completed Bounty Contracts, if they don't want them to disappear.

Been busy with the double xp grinding my powertech, so i hadn't yet replied. But, Pax Republica will miss you guys, I remember you and your guild and have watch some of the twitch streams. I don't remember ever having any problems personally with any of your guild members which is pretty impressive on POT5. I wouldn't hold it against the guys for not saying any goodbyes. Most of the PvPers would have no clue who your guild is b/c they only PvP. Pax Republica is always recruiting so if some of the stragglers of the guild are looking for homes, they are more than welcome to check us out. I'll go bump the guild recruitment post.
