I have an Intel I5 2500k overclocked to 4.0, 8 gigs corsair sniper RAM oc'd to 1600 and I was ALWAYS at about 40-42 degrees Celcius WHILE using an NVIDIA 570 1.2g overclocked gpu. I was getting atleast 80 fps on fleet, about 112 everywhere else. Only time I dropped low was intentionally. Some guild mates and I ran through reg BP, got on our speeders, and aggro'd EVERY enemy possible. Once we got to the part where there is the jedi and the 2 jedi medics, we let the aggro's catch up. I think I dropped to 8 FPS because of the sheer amount of enemies and blaster fire (and I was recording, so that didnt help) If you have a desktop PC look at installing a Corsair Hyper 212 Plus Cooling unit. Its what i used, and with a 4.0 oc'd intel I5, 1600mhz overclocked RAM, an NVIDIA 570 overclocked to ~1.2 i was at most 45 degrees celcius ^^Also, use Artic Silver thermal paste. you can't afford to skimp when it comes to thermal paste

I had that happened, so i sent in a ticket giving the name of the unassembled piece, the piece i bought, and the piece i needed. It was correctly swapped 2 days later Personally, i havent had a problem with their customer service. I put in a ticket because holograms weren't showing on my screen, and I got a reply les than half an hour later with a live-chat rep who told me to turn off anti-aliasing and it worked. Though i did put in a ticket about something (i dont remember what because i havent played in 2 weeks due to computer being out of commission), and it came up with a completely unrelated topic, which made me laugh. So is their customer service as bad as people say, or do they just not know how to express their problems in an understandable manner?

I made no statement about it being a PvP-only game, I just wondered why we cant use it in PvP when it's solely a damage only move. It doesn't provide a buff, it doesnt provide a debuff, it doesn't stun; it only does damage. That makes sense. Cause it certainly does help against regs and strongs

Wow, you put the words from my mouth onto the forums better than I could ever had. I'd personally love if they made a 3D space shooter, and kept the current space version as the mini-game it is. The rail shooter allows NO progression whatsoever, and while a break from ground missions, doesnt give me any reason to keep me with the game

I'm just wondering what the reasoning is behind not being able to use it in PvP matches as it solely does damage

Just wondering, did the Devs ever give us a reason as to why shoulder slam can't be used against other players/elites/champs? I dont see how this is gamebreaking when other classes have moves that do significantly more damage

I wish it could have been like the Juhani situation in KOTOR. You could choose to kill him, negating any possibility he joins you as a companion, or you could do the opposite. I never liked Skadge from the minute he popped up, but I never bring him along with me. He just runs missions for me.

As a tank, ive ran through this multiple times and only had a problem when one of our dps didnt know how to tell when to interrupt. /facepalm Basically, you have to have 1 person switching back and forth between serevin and his minion. this is because his Explosion move (not dark blast, or whatever it's called, but the other)must ALWAYS be interrupted. Your tank can hold the dark blast, so if you assign 1 person to interrupt, that's great. If not, your tank can handle it. Occasionally, he will stealth and surprise somebody. Have your tank mash tab and taunt immediately after he breaks stealth. If you do these two/three things you shouldn't have a problem as long as your DPS is good enough to beat the enrage timer (which isn't too difficult)

Long story short, sprite went through the top of my case and straight onto my GPU shutting my system down. Afer about 36 hours of sitting, i tried to boot her up and nothing happened. I pulled my NVIDIA 570 from the PCIE slot and she lit up for about 1/10 of a second, then immediately shut back down I'm assuming some sprite got onto the motherboard (i inspected it as well as i could in a well-lit area and didnt see any splotches. Going to run over it with cleaner just in case). There are a few splotches scattered across the circuit board of my 570 though. What's the best and safest way to clean said sticky residue?

My powertech has a freaking jetpack, so i wonder why we don't get a "jet speed" or something that "increases movement speed by x amount fo x seconds". Only makes sense to me apparently

Putting a 1.5-2 second cast time on their Stasis shield. Cant tell you how many times my powertech hasnt been able to kill them because as a shield tech tank, my dps severly lacks. (Mainly because Bioware made it so that our shoulder slam isn't usable against enemy players?!?). All a sorc has to do is cast stasis shield, then start healing themselves. Dont have enough interrupts between their instant cast and their Channels to damage them while they're in their bubble.

While playing hutball yesterrday our team was up 2-1. We got the ball to their endzone and next thing you know, our carrier gets pulled up into the instant death. In responding to their douchebaggery, I waited above the endzone following my next death. When their ball carrier came, i targeted him, made sure he had no resolve, and then.....my grapple was grayed out? I'm going to throw out a guess and say that they made it so my grapple doesnt work there, yet sorc's can extracate enemies up there?

I don't see why? Sith lore talks about former sith weilding blue lightsabers and such? It's not a requirement that sith lords use a red/orange saber

When i'm running HM's or Op's with my guild, i usually just boot up the Eminem. Gets me in my tanking mood

I have yet to be scanned as a BH but our sniper has multiple times. We had him stand outside and 3 manned it untill the boss was at about 30%. Then he came in, got scanned, we took out the FIRST clone to pop out, and hit our D Cooldowns while zerrging the boss down. Worked for us 2 times out of 2

After I got geared. I didnt mind grinding dailies for lvl 49 purple mods and such, and running HM Flashpoints time and time again for the armor, but once I got geared it's kind of a "what do I do now" other than run EV/KP with my guild or roll an alt. But i have hope that new content in 1.2 will keep me occupied. I'll just play an alt for a month or so I reckon
