  1. If I look back to my FPS experience... Everybody either had the same weapon or had access to the same weapons in the game. They did not had anything to boost your stats 'cos... well, you didn't have any stats. Some games had Kevlars and helmets ... some did not Some games would let you get better weapons thru some sort of "leveling system" ... some would just let you buy them with some money that you'd earn every round by either winning, killing or completing an objective. Weapons would eventually be all the same but would have different sounds/appearances... You wouldn't have any real "tactical" advantage over your opponents coming from your gear but only from the terrain you'd play on. Grenades, flashbangs and/or smoke grenades are part of every game I played, everybody has them or can get them. But nowhere are players given "a little something" to outperform compared to others. Ok, there's some perks, here and there... to make your life better but these perks doesn't change anything to the game itself Compare all that to any MMORPG and you'll see and probly understand why you guys are failures. Expertise = fail As much as Resilience = fail Skill > Stats (gear)
  2. I'm surprised you didn't tell him/her to L2P.
  3. I was once thinking that brackets were going to be a solution... I then realized I was 110% wrong about it ... seeing how bad "expertise" was destroying every bit of fun I had. ... I also totally agree with you on your entire post.
  4. We always come back to this "L2P" catch phrase! Really, IA are OP and something should be done about it. Their burst is a big laugh ... but that's not the only thing that's a laugh in this game. Mitigation, expertise, name them... many things are laughable/broken or maybe "working as intended" lol The Lear 2 Play is getting old very fast, just like you guys... Maybe someday, some1 will take that blindfold off your eyes...
  5. Just /lol your target bro... IAs are a laugh in the current state of the game. Anyone saying "This is right" is either playing an IA or enjoys being able to down people in 3-5GCDs (You know, back in Wrath of the Fail king, I could do the same thing with my rogue! Stunlock + Bang Bang Bang, dead. That's not skill ... that's just facerolling.)
  6. It's sad but true, it needs to go. /signed
  7. As flagrant as this all is... The only way to "balance" all of it is to compensate by adding extra dmg to these talents. (Project > Shock ... from there you got your example) I agree, it seems like the Empire is given an advantage over the Republic and the more I play the game, the more I realize this to be true. (For some reasons the only Class/Mirror I played so far that seems balanced and equal from head to toe is/are the Jedi Knight & Sith Warrior. Now correct if I'm wrong but these 2 are about the same in any given ways at the exception of some talents name and a few animations which are pretty much the same anyway.) hope it makes sense.
  8. Like this was was going to end or die in early Feb...
  9. All you can do is talent Electrocute to make it be on a 50sec CD and that's it. Force Lift/Whirldwind is on a 8sec duration if Assassin or 60sec duration if Sorc (same for mirror) CD can also be lowered if talented.
  10. but you could and also should use it. (Only with reckless something, don't remember the exact name but it makes Force lightning range increase to 30m which can be a good thing.)
  11. 7/10 The game is still quite young and has alot to improve but so far, I'm not too disappointed... There's a few things ... here & there that are bugging me but I am sure these will either get fixed or nerf in good time.
  12. Our bubble isn't very that impressive. Our survival without it is almost nul.
  13. Resolve works... but not when you need it to work. I've had my resolve bar full, no trinket to use it. Full and dead by the time I was able to use it, leaving low and cursing it. ... Resolve needs to be improved. The mechanic behind it is very well though but doesn't work quite properly or adequately. Like anything else... it'll need some attention, a few tweaks and the most important of all, some love.
  14. The lvl 50 bracket will be a great benefit to this community. It's not quite perfect yet but it's one good way to start off!
  15. I agree on that. As a Jedi Sage, I often find myself top dps (top dmg) in warzones... Mostly 'cos people let me free casting. Bounty Hunters are a pain too if they're left alone, they hurt very damn much.
  16. Force Lift is useful in a 1v1 situation if you know how to use it right. In a warzone with a bunch of pugs ... it can get messy, ok you'll get to stun some1 but uh, not that effective in overall if people are hitting it.
  17. I'm using a variant of this build. Works fine but I went for the extra dmg and extra shield absord rather than increased duration on dots. I'd rather have them tick for their original duration and time my stuff for that than to suffer from having a lack of dmg mitigation.
  18. spec plz. I'm making a guardian here but I was going to make it a PvP tank You "Focus" option seems quite appealing.
  19. Still doesn't feel right to being kill in about 4 or 5 GCDs

    Brackets or...

the bolstered stats works fine on anything below 50 Pass that ... with all the PvP gear this bolstered joke is totally mitigated to bits. While it is relatively fun to have everything & everyone in the same bracket it can also be a pain in the butt due to the number of 50's constantly increasing. It's now a normal thing to get pwnd by a bunch of 50's (pre-made for most) trying to look nice and strong... and it's also getting old very very fast. It shouldn't be that hard to introduce at least 1 or 2 brackets so people can enjoy PvP without being shred into pieces by an "OP stat" (expertise) *Don't get me wrong, Expertise is very nice and gets the job done but having a bunch of 50's all geared up ... well, you know where this is going and in this particular case, yes, it makes it quite OP. BRACKETS PLEASE.
  21. Smugglers/Imperial Agents being the top first of them followed by Bounty Hunters/Troopers then yeah ... there we got Sorc & Sages. We actually require some skills to make it happen compared to the 2 others. Which one of these are you playing already ?!
  22. Having the 50's on their side of the map and the rest of the pack on the other would already make this game more fun than it is now. Being crushed by a bunch of 50's is not how I pictured myself to be quite honest. This is supposed to be fun and I'm supposed to enjoy it as well ... but at the moment with the number of 50's increasing rather quickly, it's clear that my "fun" is going south and down the tub.
  23. Well ... both class wears "heavy armor" They're tough as hell (specially if you're a melee, that means you've got to bypass the armor which mitigates a chunk of your damage.) The interupt we're given is not really worth anything.... Yes it shuts down a cast and prevent the talent from being casted for 4 seconds but it doesn't prevent the caster from casting another spell from that same school... ?! (Coming from WoW ... when you interupt some1 ... it prevents him/her to cast any spells from that specific school which means if I bang you while you're trying to get a heal off then all your heals should be gone for the duration of the said interupt that is 4 seconds at the moment.) If you follow this logic, healers would have to be more careful with their spells and it would also make them more vunerable. (Ok I can sense a wall of flame coming right upon me! I know, I know... but that really didn't stop me.)
  24. I know just fine how to fight a rogue 'cos I played one myself. The problem is the "burst" dmg which is really way too high atm. I'll keep asking for a nerf on IA/Smuggs 'til something is done to fix this annoying issue. (That and I'll keep asking for brackets.) I'm also gettin bored of /lol'ing at a group of 50's trying to prove themselves they're strong in the force by killing a poor lvl 30/35.
