  1. You must suck as a sniper then - They destroy in PvP - I have a guild mate who is crazy good and I wish I had been a sniper over an Op - its YOU that is "bad in pvp lol"

You dont even know what you are talking about dude - so many people spitting out this crap - only overgeared people did that pre 1.1 to lowbys - and almost any class could do it Our class is weak now - there is no advantage to being an Op at all - and really not much to being melee in this game - if you want to be good in PvP roll a ranged class You will have people say in so many words "You can still use all the Ops ability's on people so they are just fine" I feel like I am talking to children most of the time on these forums - look at how much ranged gets (auto-facing,sheilds etc.) they are usually more survivable, do just as much damage, have just as much CC - BUT also have things to knock you back if you do get close, some even CC you right after you get knocked back - yet when you DO get into melee range....you do less or equal damage as them..... Why play a melee class in this game? Because you rolled one since the start, dont know any better, or are just stubborn

ANOTHER post saying the same thing "You can still play a concealment Op so they are fine!" and most of your post makes me wonder if you even play one, cause if you do you are BAD - BOOOOOOOOOOO - Ops were nerfed because of nothing but forum *****es - If they really were unbalanced they would have changed them in alpha or beta not a month after release I will wait and see if they truly care about "balance" or if it is just a dance to try and keep subs - that is the probem with everything these days, its all based on money not what is actually best for everyone or in this case the game I will give it a few months - but im not staying to play Warhammer 2.0

You got it - there is no reason to be an operative - this guys post summed up: "Concealment Ops are fine because you can still play them" - wow such an astute observation I still play my Conc Operative and have almost full champion gear - and I know how to play my class - it is silly when I do as much damage to a fresh 50 as some champion geared sages do to me in my 500+ expertise gear - I barely tickle them when there shield is up Ranged does obviously not have to be close to you at all - they auto-face targets - they have just as many stuns and interrupts - way more survivability than us (even clothys becuase of the spam-able shield) - heck there is little disadvantage to being close to you, and kiting is easy- they do just as much damage or more - why be a melee class? This class is already hard to play without being the weakest class - we are the worst class in PvP right now - we dont have any utility add nothing to a group. Do I still do fine in PvP? Sure if you get people not geared at all - Our class was burst - its all we were - now we are just a weak melee class that hits less hard than a maurader - OOOO wait we can hit you before you see us........whoopy do when that hit doesnt do any more than one if you could see us Most people just CC break the debil and leave - heck geared fokls will laugh at me and just run away I will keep playing him because I want to see if Bioware does something or not - if they dont I will leave this game as it will just turn into another Warhammer online .....

I think they are thinking wrong with this change - every profession needs to have a tiny stat bonus for being max level - and the rakata stims are currently only a tiny bit better - what will happen is once they give cybertech and other professions there own bonuses biochem will be the worst crew skill lol Why not just make exotech purchasable and leave the Rakata ones alone? People are not going to require biochem because you get a tiny bit more in stats. They were requiring it because Exotech and Rakata were both biochem only so if you were not biochem you couldnt get anything even close in stats. Bioware is out of touch with its players and is going to ruin its game unless it starts to think the correct way - each crew skill should have a tiny something stat wise it adds just like other mmos The re-useability is nice but think about the future of Biochem and other crew skills when you make changes, dont just make changes willy nilly and make biochem just as lame as the other professions Other professions need a way to give them a tiny stat boost as well, not take away from Biochem even more But hey they seem to ignore every actual issue with changes they bring, heck my Operative is still sad in PvE right now, and not exactly great in PvP either - I died so many times finishing my class quests after the nerf (pre-nerf I already could just barely kill equal lvl elites) and I had almost all champion gear on - but they dont seem to care
  7. Why is anyone saying this gives people gear easier???? Guess what some people got to full champion in 12 bags - what do you say to that? You shouldnt have it where for some people it takes less than a week to get gear and some people dont even have 2 peices after 50 bags - they are just smoothing that out so it takes the same amount of time to gear up for everyone and effort is actually rewarded
  8. I like the way you think - I will add that while I do not see this as cheating I think it should be fixed as it is kinda lame - its not like you are using the environment (acid,fire,) you are using a game mechanic that was not meant for this purpose - im sure it will get fixed at some point
  9. Easy fix for this: Make a starter lvl 50 gear set (or Centurion gear) and make it purchasable with wz/merc coms....but NO as usual Bioware "fixes" things that are not broken and changes our gear instead This game is going to hell
  10. I swear Bioware just loves to change things that could easily be fixed - Like why lower the expertise on gear? Why not just give new 50s a set of gear they can buy with warzones/mercs (hell make centurion work that way)? I dont get it.......

Not true because they never said Champ tokens will work like BM tokens so you can still get dupes - AND since they have significantly reduced the amount of champ tokens you get in the bags you will only be able to get Centurion gear at a steady rate. Unlike now where if you are not totally unlucky you can get champion gear at a steady rate - think about it

THIS^^^ What this means for those that are BM or will be in the next two weeks (me) is more gear - nice - see for me I only have 6 pieces of champ gear but im vr 53 - so by the time the patch hits I should be BM (usually they do a patch every two weeks) so not only will I get a chance at BM gear, I will also get MORE champ tokens to complete my champ set if I do not get it finished in the next two weeks It doesnt effect you at all then OP - now if you actually needed some champ gear you would benefit but since you already have all of it you wont be affected at all Who does this **** over? New 50s and those that have a ton of valor to farm to hit BM - after this you will see way more people in full centurion gear because you will get way less champion tokens - those that geared up with the old system benefited huge - Its ironic because the QQing about RNG is what made this change happen, but it hurts not helps

The issue is it would have needed to be this way since the start - I personally will benefit from this as by the time it is rolled out I will be Battlemaster - So I was able to get a higher chance at champ gear and then soon after I hit BM I will get more champ tokens yet the same BM tokens I would have gotten anyways - but for new 50s this will make the grind to BM even more painful

Its funny because they fail to address the actual problem (as usual) - sure some people had a problem with the RNG - but I think the biggest issue is champion dupes, which will be even more of a problem with this much less chance to get gear. So now you may get more cent coms but when you do actually get a champ piece it still may very well be the exact piece you just got - if you are going to make this change you need to make champ tokens work like BM tokens do now so that when you do hit RNG you can get whatever you want. At this point the change is stupid - you cannot have a system that worked that way for this long and then change it like this - it will take way longer to get gear - what this will create is most people wont even have many champ pieces before they hit BM

What they need to do is have orange gear not have the armor mod in it - make it so you can add an orange piece of gear on top of your other gear taking on its stats but looking like the orange piece - this would let anyone use any orange peice of gear, letting them look however they wanted, heck you could use a lvl 14 orange piece
  16. If they are going to make this change they need to make Champion armor tokens behave like the BM tokens - because if you happen to get lucky and get a piece of gear and have it be a dupe what is total ****

I have figured out one thing you get them for at least - attacking the person holding the ball I dont know about 30 medals....but personally I think the daily should be a certain amount of games played instead of games won - then keep the weekly the way it is with 9 wins - sometimes I cannot get the daily done because I PUG - I do plan to try and get into a PvP guild but as of now I have to get lucky to finish that daily
  18. I lvled using cybertech (scav and slicing)- made the stuff that was good at 400 (ship upgrades, speeders etc. for nothing cause my guild gave me the mats) and then switched to biochem - its the way to go

Meh - dude you can just buy the blue nades considering for PvP and PvE their most usefull application is the CC anyways - and its not like you use them all the time anyways I am 400 cyber, scav, and slicing - I will be switching to biochem tonight - its not just the extra stats and re-usability - look into HOW the bonuses are applied and they are WAY better than anything else out there

  21. I have said it before and I have said it again - why play an operative when you can play a class that has heavy armor and better DPS??? Its silly because what they did by nerfing our burst is take away the only benefit to the class - if we do the same amount of DPS in X second why no play the class that has way more utility and armor? Heck stealth at this point doesnt do much cause getting the jump on people is not an advantage for us anymore
  22. If they want to keep RNG bags - whatever - it is stupid because of the way champ bags work - at least make the champ bags the same as BM bags so I dont keep getting duplicate items from the RNG I cannot even use - i wouldnt mind it so much if when I did get lucky I could actually use the gear
  23. How is this cheap tricks? That would mean you running away from a melee class to keep yourself from getting hurt is a "cheap trick" if you are a ranged class you should have to BE AT RANGE to do damage - hence being able to kite - not much point in this game
