  1. played as infiltration till rank 66, now 31/0/10 there is no way in hell you can kill a geared and skilled sin/shadow as infiltrator ill kill you in 10 seconds, a bit more if you are healer and i mess up a bit. but against an infiltrator/deception you have to survive 20 seconds. if you manage that and can heal up, you may attemp to kill the sin. against tank spec in dps gear, just sit down and die, cause there is nothing you can do. you wont even be able to run from him. cant comment on balance/madness specs
  2. the first sin video i ever watched that i fully approve keep it up
  3. Fairell

    1on1 Classes

tank shadow with stalker gear and there is nothing i cant kill 1v1 except good healers. as i was infiltration, full tanks and good marauders were tough fights.
  4. well, good vid, nothing spectacular though. but i feel for the imps on your server if they are all like those in your vid didnt find taunts on your bar, do you use them? at 12min you fight absolutely force starved but with blackout off cd otherwise like i said, good vid. try to get some really tough 1v1, 1v2 for your next one, preferrably other battlemasters.
  5. putting a kill of a 11k hp newb as a first fight clearly wont get you any popularity points..
  6. das einzige was mich mehr oder minder aufregt dass leute zum teil mit rang 63 volles set haben und ich mit 70 noch weit davon entfernt bin...
  7. thats not the point. the point is that some ppl DO get the end game gear handed to them and some dont under same circumstances
  8. i didnt ask for buffs and im pvping as 31/0/10 now with stalker gear and 2 pieces survivor (too lazy to switch mods) as full tank sin (def gear and def mods) you wont do any dmg and still die faster that PT or jugg. now to make things clear, i kicked as.ses as infiltrator and i still do as kinetic. i just said that for node or door guarding, nothing beats full tank juggernaut. PT coming close second. in a full pvp tank role, those two a better than sin in my opinion, cause they just last longer for reinforcements to arrive.
  9. are we playing the same game? cause i know another class with light armor, which is melee with no heals or bubble^^
  10. like i said, it sometimes gives you small tactical advantage but you dont really need it. love having it though
  11. as a tank in grp pvp you have to..well.. tank. and stealth does not help you at all with that. stealth has its benefits sometimes, but is more useful to a solo player. in a premade kinetic doesnt need stealth at all.
  12. you have best AOE. its a fact. sorcs utility aside, my problem with them is they are the only class that can regen resources while doing a lot of dmg. dot, gtae, channel channel channel, instant aoe with 20% more dmg, dot, gtae bla bla..oh look, i still have 100% force.
  13. i admit i also switched to KC at rank 66 or smth. kinetic is strong duelist, but for group pvp i would almost prefer a guardian. no matter how strong kinetic is, it is the only tank lacking an ability to mitigate focus fire. since mitigation stuff is additive, has anybody tested this? against force/tech a guardian/jugg has 40% base mitigation + 6% less dmg taken due to stance, + 25% less dmg through blade ward and + 40% less dmg through warding call. so it should grant immunity or near that against force/tech. + they take much less dmg through normal attacks and 1-2% more through internal/elemental. guardian with all cd on is immortal for the duration. unfortunately kinetics cant do the same. we still die quite fast when focused
  14. im rank 70 and still missing 3 pieces. saw a rank 62 yesterday, he has full set...
  15. you never played a consular then.. you will never win the KB fight against an inquisitor, since his animation is much faster. so you will actually get knocked back with your spell on cd...
  16. at least the consular one does...it is called an a.s.s long animation
  17. for gods sake. upload it to swtormovies german youtube is getting ridiculous
  18. dumb comparison. airbags and such are technologies you can pay a license fee and use it, so every ford, vw, blabla can easily have it. for games it is a completely different story. those are not pro swtor arguments. those are arguments on how game development works. i fully agree with you on the customer support and ingame gms though.
  19. i cant argue on that since, like i said i just started with webpage programming so i dont know crap about that object oriented (hope the translation fits) stuff and in particular which role the engine plays. with web stuff it is easy, since you can copy paste the html code of every site since it is available to everyone, but it is just the basic framework. you can guess on the other stuff made with php, css and js but you have still to code it yourself. perhaps someone experienced with C++ stuff (i heard somewhere wow is coded in that language)can enlighten us how it works for games
  20. i agree on UI/responsiveness. but what you are seeing wrong on the city analogy is, that developing countries receive technologies and help from others since they have something developed countries want (natural resources) now i doubt blizz would send bw its source code for some features. im not that much into programming atm, so i dont know how easy is it to throw things together build on different engines eve if they did.
  21. you sir are not just ignorant, you are just dumb. easy to copy paste, ya ofc it is....you know blizz has their source code all over the internet
  22. the amount of ignorance people put up these days is ridiculous. while i would like to see many of wow's features in swtor, i know that it is simply not possible. you CANNOT compare games development to cars, computers or anything else. think of it like it is building a city. wow- 4 years of building behind closed gates, 8 years of additional work swtor- 5 years closed development, 2 months of polishing programming hours are programming hours, everything you want to see is weeks and months of coding. did they see what wow and others games have done good? im sure. and im also sure they would like to implement lots of those features. now do simple maths. convert the years wow has been in development + the time its been out and convert them into coding hours. do the same for swtor. everyone with a bit of intelligence would see that BW would have had started with 2 additional studios to be on par with wows 12 years of development. now try to forecast the costs and the resulting subscription fees. would you like to have swtor to have surpassed wow in every possible area for 50bucks a month and 300 for the game itself? i doubt it.
