  1. Voidstar is not the only thing broken since patch 3 servers and multiple imp toons can not que groupfinder today while all my pub toons can.
  2. Just checked all my toons and here is what happened, 8 imp toons unable to que but I was able to on both of my pub toons. So it looks like an imp side only problem.
  3. It is the same on PoT5 about to check toons on Jedi Covenant. Ill will post this in bug forums after I check there.
  4. We tried multiple times including twice after a phase reset. During our last try once we got to SOA the floor wasn't even there then rose from the very bottom level. Garge (lava boss) was also bugged in that the rocks did not fall to go from platform to platform. This wasn't an issue since we went in with 3 merc, sorc heals, and a sin but bugged none the less.
  5. I myself play carnage because it best fits my play style. Carnage has the best burst out of the three specs, havent really played rage since the smash monkey days, and annilation is a bleed spec that also has the ability to heal. My best advice is experiment with all three specs and go with what is comfortable to you, then at 60 (65) you can choose so you can gear correctly.
  6. The thing that stuck out to me in this whole post was using it as 2 PT tanks dual swapping which is kindof foolish because it takes away threat and the enemy ignores your for a period of time. Congrats you killed your DPS and Heals. Swapping with a DPS or healer you also have a good chance of dropping an AOE or conal on your raid.
  7. I have a question with this as well from a tanking standpoint because this is also going to change a passive ( I think it is passive) from our skill tree as well. When running FPs or even trash pulls in ops flame sweep is a way to tag all mobs before your AoE taunt. This brings me to FLAME SURGE you get at level 40, is this getting replaced with something viable since it works off of Jet Charge? Translocate is something I just don't get either, I am suppose to tank by running away? This skill really does more harm than good. Use it at the wrong time suddenly a healer or rDps is getting AoE or conal damage. I would seriously rethink this ability and when you offer Jet Charge. Solution is leaving it in the PT Tank skill tree and just making it trainable by others at 61.
  8. What I was most disappointed with had nothing to do with the content or the game play itself but the developers playing the game. The Devs discourage unfair play and using cheats such as speed hacks and ect but blatantly use an instakill cheat during a live stream for all players to see. I was not aware that this type of cheat existed but now I sure do. What they should have done is discussed some of the upcoming content while the "player" did this off screen to get back to the previous spot when the feed went down. I applaud you Devs for openly participating in what you punish players for. (sarcasm) And that 4 button rotation that you guys use for Knight must be what you base your pvp balance off of as well.
  9. If they do away with main stats will this mean that all the work players put in for datacrons will be useless as well? Will they remove those stats from players?
  10. Their problem with focus on "story" is that the content is too easy to blow through. They could have done so much with Ziost but people were blowing through it in under an hour on each toon. Both of the last expansions offered little in customized story line except between imp and pub then the very last cutscene. Bioware is writing Dr Suess books (short and for entry level readers) I want to see something challenging for a level 60.

I went to the bolstering dummy, I just hit 30 today and am still wearing my level 29 gear here are some pictures of what I bolstered at wearing all level 29 purples except for the 27 relics having 5 crit augs and the rest surge. First one is unbolstered, 2nd is bolstered, and third is the result of a 10-29 the last week on POT5 and Jedi Covenant.   12. I don't think people are asking for nerf of Operative roll because of arena's but because of the ridiculous distance they can roll in lets say Huttball. I play an Operative healer and can roll from the edge of the top platform almost to the end zone in one roll. The other factor is they can just roll through obstacles in both types of huttball and can not be stunned while doing so. So how do we fix this? I have a few ideas that sounded good to me. 1) Make it so that none of the damage from fire pits or poison pits negatable by any class, whats the point of these if classes can waltz right through them? I think this should also not trigger health on damage DcD either. 2) Make the operative roll calculate the downward distance when the platform is left. For example if an operative rolls off the top platform in huttball take that distance (maybe 5 meters) off the roll, if he rolls off the top platform in quesh huttball drop him straight down. 3) I also would like to put forth maybe increasing the CD on it to match force speed (not sure if they are the same CD, I don't play sorc/sin)
  13. Remember I said lowbie because at 10-29 there is not going to be that big of a damage difference. What this will do is give you survivability with the shield, double the armor rating, provide a guard for a healer, and still have the dps skills. I usually run vengeance which you do not get your shien stance till 40 ( I believe anyways)
  14. So I was starting a new Operative on Hutta yesterday and experienced something I haven't seen before. There was a group of 10 or so agents running around obviously on auto follow and all the same level. Obviously to me I automatically think they are credit sellers trying to get to level 10 so they can spam fleet. I sent in a report but not really so much for being credit sellers but the gameplay I experienced while they were in the same area I was. Whenever they would get into visual range I could not tap the D key to turn without doing a complete 360, it was like turning the sensitivity from 1 to 10 in Call of Duty. I know people can run speed hacks and various other programs to give them an advantage but how can they do this so that it affects my system/game play as well?
  15. Unless you are in upper end of lowbie PVP then run dps spec with a shield in tank stance, I know people hate this but it is the way I roll.
  16. Also just curious did you check your expertise in the gear blue vs purple? In 60 pvp if you don't have pvp gear it is recommended that you wear 178 Blues even if you have 198 purples. With the full 198s you may have 52kHP but your expertise will be close to 850 (seriously) but in the 178 gear I believe you get something like 1800 expertise. I think this is what happens with the 50 gear and 55 gear since there is at least a 28 armour rating difference just with 50 gear alone (122-150) where as the difference in gear level with lets say a 29 is 14 armour rating (66-80). I've noticed this as well when leveling in pvp and usually just skip pvp for at level 50-52 and level 55 and just buy 53 and 56 blues.
  17. Ok for the first I'll try to explain this as best as possible. A level 60 pvp weapon has 191 expertise with 41 of it coming from the crystal. Now with bolster it bolsters the piece as a whole so if you use the power crystal it will bolser but if you use the expertise crystal you lose the bolser effect and lose the any expertise over 41 you would have got from the rest of the piece.
  18. if you read my post I'm not complaining about pvp, its about the fact that anyone under 60 has a very difficult time due to the zero expertise vs 2018 especially if they are like me and don't play during prime time. Right now there are 16 imp players on illum and 6, that I can see aka not stealthed, are camping the middle all from the same guild requiring this 100k fee. Like I said im not complaining on PvP Im saying EAware should have included the PvP bolstering instead of PvE.
  19. I am on a PoT5 and I really enjoy being on a PvP server but there is some bad greedy guilds on this server especially during events that take place in open world. During the quest "Charging the Pylon" this week there have been a few guilds that camp this location all day which I am fine with at level 60 since you have the opportunity to get pvp gear. The problem is when it comes to anyone under 60 that tries to do these quest, they receive a 60 PVE bolster but nothing pvp related. So what is happening is these guilds are stealth killing or AOE killing in groups with full pvp gear and requiring players to pay a "fee" to complete the quest. Many have submitted tickets which I find justifiable. Is this not considered grieving under the ToS (which is punishable even on a pvp server) since they are stopping you from completing a quest without paying the 100k fee? Is this happening on any other server or is it just the 2-3 guilds on PoT5? And its not a 2-3 people killing 1 person, im talking about major pvp guilds with 10+ people in groups of 4 doing this all day.

Gear I do agree with especially in ranked, and btw I do pvp so before you assume I don't pvp slow your roll (you can do both in this game) The problem is in fact that this is a PVE based game since launch pure and simple and it is sad. This has been seen since the great idea of open world objective PvP on illum but was poorly executed. BIoware has done a poor execution within PvP giving basically the same objectives just with different maps (excluding Hypergate) of point capture, team death match, and huttball. Even taking out skill trees for hybrid specs was a bad pvp move since it took any uniqueness out of the game such as operative heal/lethality spec where you probed the whole team to get tact advantages and culled ppl into the ground. With a separation in the designing of PvP and PvE balance for both sides is unlikely and one will have to suffer and unfortunately it is PvP.
  21. How do you figure that it is easy to fix? You are talking about basically redesigning three different skill trees for one and you are only looking at this from a pvp perspective as well. I have all three tank classes and on guild Op runs most of the time dps. Now what happens if one of our tanks DC or Die? Boom switch stances for the armour increase and taunts. With the redesign of the AoE taunt if you are not in tank cell you reduce threat not taunt the enemy. So just because you are tired of the other teams healer being guarded and damage being reduced by taunts does not mean it needs to change. If this is happening on your team maybe you should find a ranked group?

No you did not because a lot of people still run these because doing the weekly is an easy 40ish basic comms that you can use to gear other characters or even your character if you are running them while 50-60. Another great thing is its and easy 200k that takes maybe 30 min at level 60 if you are a slow killer, Just running Torvix yields 75-100k if you loot all the enemies and sell the junk.

  24. yeah I did it in the right order 1) 3 elite pigs 2) used data packets and clicked skull 3) pheromones in city so I had 2 buffs 4) clicked rock to get 3rd buff and beam to rock 5) went to rock and was not clickable Yeah they are too concerned with slot machines and putting out more cartel packs to fix it.

Today after farming the three pigs which took 7 hours total I finally got the three data packets, went and clicked on the skull, the item in the main city, then to the rock and got the blue beam. Went to the rock that I know is sometimes bugged but to my surprise the tents spawned and attacked me and killed me. To my knowledge these are suppose to be friendly and I didn't get loot or datacrons. I also did a search of the forums using "Rishi Datacrons" and Devs have not replied to any posts or even acknowledged a problem. What is going on? A response would be nice especially to the ticket.
