Not sure about the exact formula, but you get a x2 multiplier on reqs during the first two matches of the day per hull. For example, if you have three hulls unlocked, then you can play up to 6 rounds per day that get twice the normal amount of requisitions.

A lot of us Rebel Starsider vets from the old RS guild are on Jung Ma. Many of the big names don't play anymore (Halyn, Leaph, etc.) but we still have fun. Queue times are good during prime time, but outside of that it's hit or miss.

I suck at Galactic Starfighter,,,,,,,,,,,
YTPeregrine replied to Ouardajason's topic in Galactic Starfighter
1 - There is a tutorial...click on the question mark when you pull up the hanger screen. 2 - I somewhat agree with this. We fought very hard to keep buffs and abilities out of JtL because we wanted space PvP to be more about the skill of the pilot than anything else. However, all the buffs and abilities are equal across all factions and classes so at least it's not unfair. You just need to pick which abilities suit you best. 3 - The HUD is pretty intuitive for those who have played similar games (I played the whole X-wing series and JtL). I can't remember if it covers the HUD in the tutorial, but if your target is not on your screen then it should be represented by a light red diamond on the edge of your HUD. Just turn in the direction of the diamond and you should find your target. 4 - Hell no. Auto targeting would be extremely frustrating. Use the E key to target things that are under your reticule. -
How did you enjoy your Double XP weekend?

I enjoyed it! I leveled my sniper from 16 to 19...because it was Thanksgiving weekend and I have a life -
Star Wars 1313- the new star wars game!
YTPeregrine replied to Saseav's topic in STAR WARS Discussion
If it plays out as well as any of the Uncharted games did, then I'm stoked about it. I can't wait to play a Star Wars game that doesn't revolve around the Jedi. -
I played SWG for about 7 years and loved it mostly for the space game. For me it was basically XWA v2.0. I do like the sandbox style of MMO better than the themepark though. I feel like I'm playing KOTOR again...but with more story. Once I get through all the stories I'll probably get bored and quit. I also liked the Galactic Civil War time frame better than the Old Republic...just feels better with less Jedi to me (the crap ton of people swinging glow bats in SWG don't count...). All in all, I hope this game dies out so they can make an MMO that takes place in the New Republic or Galactic Alliance time frame.

I absolutely loved the Smuggler story! You can play it a few different ways, but I went with more of a "patriotic outlaw" kind of attitude in the last two Acts. Lots of epic one-liners, lots of getting laid (if you play a male character). It got to the point where I kind of felt like I was pimping out my character. It's the only story I've finished thus far, but I'm getting close on my Consular and Trooper. Comparatively, I'd have to say the smuggler story is my favorite. I can't wait to finish the companion storylines that go along with it.

To start, 2 disclaimers: I have not read the entire thread, and yes, I am aware that SWTOR is not SWG2. When I did PvP on the ground in SWG, there were bases on three of the planets that were able to be captured by a faction after a series of tasks (disable shields, disable power generator, etc.). The area around these bases were designated PvP areas much like the area on Tatooine is in SWTOR. System messages were displayed to all players on that planet when a base was being captured, so your faction could possibly send reinforcements or the opposing faction could prevent the base from being flipped. I think that if something like this were implemented, I would probably PvP nonstop. It was up to the players (and a gaggle of noneffective NPC's) to defend these bases and preserve the faction bonuses that were provided for holding the base. I can probably dig up the other details if anybody wants them.

Republic players can not use them, however one the Smuggler companions (Risha) does use one. If you're going to use her Post-50, I would just find an Armstech and have them craft you a sniper rifle. Until then, just take the "Risha's xxxxxx Sniper Rifle" that you get as quest rewards.

Official Q&A Thread for July 20th Blog Post
YTPeregrine replied to AllisonBerryman's topic in General Discussion
Greetings Devs, The general consensus amongst the Scoundrel community is that the Dirty Fighting and Scrapper specializations are extremely underpowered in PvP, and even more so in PvE. Is there a plan to change these specializations and make them somewhat viable? Thanks for your time. -
When I need a little extra cash on my lvl 50 I just run the Black Hole dailies. It takes me about 25 minutes (stealth FTW) and I make 45-50k credits (depending on loot). Not sure about the other dailies since I'm not really into PvE much, but I hope that helps.

Since all smugglers have access to the same companion and class missions, I don't use them for my character's story. It'd be kind of awkward for every smuggler in the galaxy to hang out with the same 5 buddies.

What legacy name did you choose? Proudly post yours here!
YTPeregrine replied to ColdLogic's topic in General Discussion
The Voltin Legacy Voltin was the last name of a couple of my toons on SWG, so I decided to RP my SWTOR toons as the ancestors of my SWG toons. -
what are scoundrel scrappers doing now, after 1.2?
YTPeregrine replied to teambff's topic in Scoundrel / Operative
I'm still running around with 31 points in scrapper, and I'll probably never change, lol. I'm terrible at PvP to begin with, so I haven't really noticed the changes. In the WZ's I'll usually hang around the fringes of the battle and swoop in all stealth-like to unload on someone who's down to about half their health. That, or being an objective ninja on the Voidstar. -
Akaavi!!! I enjoyed the Republic Commando books, so it was nice to dive into the Mandalorian culture a bit. Their morals aren't that intuitive, so trying to figure here out was an interesting challenge.
