  1. For the amount of stats that PVP gear has, stacking all absorb/shield rating works best, especially for jedi shadow, due to jedi shadows having a ~40% chance to shield attacks with kinetic ward on. Note, be sure to use endurance augments, since one of the main points of a tank in PVP is to guard targets, which redirects damage to the tank.
  2. Healing is the most ineffective right now that it's ever been in SWTOR. 1 madness spec player can dot up a healer and force the healer to have to heal himself with more than just kolto probes. Although, a lot of the reason why healing is weak right now is because of madness spec. A sorcerer dotting up a healer then spamming force lightning forces a healer to focus heal him/herself, and the sorc doesn't even have to use his/her interrupt. The single target DPS of a sorcerer is higher than the single target HPS of an operative in PVP, without interrupts.
  3. Full tank assassin with shield/absorb gear, and endurance augments works fine for PVP.
  4. Solo ranked has been queueing about once per 10 minutes the past few weeks, from 7 PM to 12 AM.
  5. Madness sorc, then deception assassin, then madness assassin, then vengeance jugg.
  6. I played ranked with Xinika for months (I've played with her for over a year). She is a very skilled assassin. Does she complain some about assassin? Yes. But, she is still very skilled at SWTOR.
  7. 1 juggernaut tank (although assassin tank can work), 1 operative healer (although merc healer can work), and 2 madness spec (sorc or assassin).
  8. You apparently didn't play SWTOR when the game was launched. Smuggler has had the ability to roll to cover since SWTOR was launched, but the original roll to cover didn't work well.
  9. Rubberbanding and force leap failing has been in SWTOR for over a year. Operatives aren't the only class with a buggy jump/run. Force leap often fails, and force speed rubberbands as much as exfiltrate.
  10. Lots of those players are queue syncers other than Caprica.
  11. That is not what happens on Pot5 every game. Commando is the #1 target, and sage is #2. Sniper can be an early target, if the team on the opposite side as a sniper has an assassin or sorc. If a team is melee heavy, attacking a sniper first is a horrible thing to do. Kill order on Pot5 goes #1 commando, #2 sage, #3 sniper or marauder (depending on if a team is melee heavy). For 4 DPS versus 4 DPS, the only melee that are immune to being first targets are juggernaut and stealth DPS. Juggernaut is the outright last target because of ED. Marauder is actually squishier than an engineering sniper. Marauders can very easily get killed without making many mistakes. An assassin stunlocking a marauder while a sniper or sorc wrecks the marauder can cause a marauder to do very light damage.
  12. Madness assassin does more DPS than madness sorc, but madness sorc is much more survivable without a tank. With a tank, madness assassin is stronger than madness sorc.
  13. The strongest class to queue solo with right now is madness sorc.
  14. Force camouflage should break roots for all specs of marauder, and the undying rage nerf should be reverted.
  15. Well, I know for a fact that brutalizer is bolstered to 186 rating. My characters have had brutalizer mainhands for months (except for my operative). I haven't checked what obroan bolsters to, but I checked using the bolsterizer on the fleet, and brutalizer bolsters to 186 rating (I have a 180 PVE barrel for my PT for PVE).
  16. I'm almost 100% sure that both obroan and brutalizer hilts get bolstered to 186 rating.
  17. PVP hilts and barrels are bolstered to PVE 186 rating for weapon damage, tech damage, and force damage.
  18. Annihilation and madness needed dot protection. Around 40% of annihilation and madness specs' damages are from dots. 1 dot cleanse removing 40% of a spec's damage is kind of ridiculous.
  19. That's not true. It is entirely possible for a juggernaut to do nothing wrong, and still get stealth capped because of instant whirlwind. Phase walk, mind maze, phase walk, cap. Juggernaut CC breaks at 4 seconds (after calling out in chat), juggernaut saber throws, assassin whirlwinds, then caps. I didn't read Earnestbunbury's post. I was commenting on the fact that I've seen skilled juggernauts get sap capped, and there wasn't much that they could do. That's why an assassin, operative, or tank PT should guard.
  20. A sorc healer being on a team is usually an auto loss for the team that the sorc healer is on. Making resurgence/rejuvenate have no CD, would make sorc heals a viable spec for solo queue.
  21. Sorc, assassin, powertech, and sniper are all better for 4s than marauder. The only class arguably worse for 4s than marauder is merc, and that isn't by much.
  22. I play team ranked whenever a team asks me to play for them. I do 2000+ HPS on a healing operative in 4s. The thing is, there might be 4 teams queueing team ranked on Pot5 per night, which is very few teams. When the team that I was on today swapped from a carnage marauder to a madness assassin, the difference was night and day. More damage, easier to heal, and taunts. Assassin has a true vanish and phase walk, pyro PT has a very fast kolto overload, juggernaut has enraged defense, sorc has barrier.
  23. Team ranked means nothing. Team ranked does not occur much on most servers.

    Undying rage

So, marauder is the lowest rated class for season 2, mostly due to the nerfs to rage spec and undying rage. The undying rage nerf needs to be reverted.
