  1. I honestly think i've seen more Pubs do it than imps. Maybe it's just the luck i've had, but i've been in several 8v12 matches...happens more in alderaan than anywhere for me.
  2. actually, i don't think flashbang gives any resolve considering i've had 3 flashbang debuffs on me at the same time and only a 1/2 full resolve as well because i was 4 second sorc stunned (surprise surprise) just prior to the flashbangs. and if an operative outside of being being cc'd by one of the ten thousand cc's in this game is letting anyone get more than 10m from them then they're bad. They also have cover/snipe/other numerous ranged attacks that ARENT 10m that still hit ridiculously hard for them to be all out considered a "melee" class. I call ********.

  4. The most ridiculous post I've ever seen. Moderators need to close these threads for lack of common sense. Seriously....give healers...HEALERS....an escape stealth. Come on...because bubbles/stuns/knockbacks/insta hots/instaheals/sprints/slows/interrupts (all this at range mind you) arent' enough. /facepalm
  5. I agree with you....but then i disagree because the second you start attacking 1 or 2 of them they start cross healing each other...the hybrid classes here are more ridiculous than any game I think i've ever played.

    ****, give every class a knockback then...replace the huttball with a random team-mate and teh first team to knock him back 3 times gets a score.

Aion had a LOT of great things...pvp was actually fun with chained combos etc...but as you meantioned, it was very fastpaced...and yeah, the amount of skills/keybind you needed are easily doubled compared to this game. Your class took finesse to use and if you screwed up on something it could literally mean your dead even if the screwup happened early in the fight...not hear, just stun them again, you'll win eventually.

  9. If you count throwing the ball around in forward advances instead of trying to be a champ and run it from the center to the goal like a Hulk..then yes, huttball does require skill. I've seen som pro teams passing like Tebow could only dream of doing...but that's objective skill which qualifies i guess, but my aim was really more at player skill with abilities, not ball tossing.
  10. That would be fine if i still didnt get stunned with a full resolve bar. You can't argue resolve even works because we ALL know it's wonky and has a mind of it's own. I've had/seen times where i watched someone get stunned twice with full resolve, and times where someone has had 3/4's resolve and not get stunned (no stun immunity buff was up)...so your arguement with resolve is moot. To add to this....even if i waited until my resolve bar was full to use my CC breaker I would be dead before I reached that mark...again, moot.
  11. Im fine with pebbels/lightining slowing, but let's not make the ability spammable via spec....and if it's goign to be spammable, remove the damn slow effect...they have a castable slow they can use, make them use it..not juse lolfacerollpebbelspamlol to slow people down all day erryday.
  12. This seriously would fix SO much. That auto face crap is...well, crap, again...no skill. I like the minimum range idea much like hunters were in WoW, imagine how ridiculous hunters would be if they had zero minmum range??!?! OG hunters, not the crap they call hunters now with more escapes than Operatives. Yeah, knockbacks filling up resolve would be HUGE!!! Thos knockback to force lightining to hey you'reback im my face to STUN routines would be over with!

  14. It's the same as resilience which imo ruined pvp in WoW. All it did was stop the dragon slayers from pvp'ing with their dragonslaying gear.

    Resolve is a joke....much like you said, too many things DONT effect it. Having multiple stuns on you at the same time doesnt increase resolve, still only effects it as if one hit you. I don't much care for warcraft but diminishing returns is something they DID get right...especially when noob rogues were kidney shot happy and 3 of them jumping a prot warrior would use it on him and the entire duration only lasted 2 seconds tops due to immediate DR.... I bet this resolve thing looked REALLY good on paper.

    But cc's arent skillfully used. They're spammed to death, I've been 3v1'd when i was at 15% hp and was stunned...Being that cc's are on such short cd, they're spammed. end of story.... To the OP...it's not about TOO much cd....it's about TOO short of cd's as you outlined. The game wouldnt feel like a spamacious cc fest if ccs were put on 5 minute cd's or longer, or take things like flashbang and make them single target cc. an aoe cc for 8 seconds....i understand that damage breaks it but i swear i never get hit when im flashbanged. So many things need addressed as far as cc goes...but it's ok, expertise will fix it...rofl.
  18. Is this like the time mages couldnt be killed in WoW? They were 2 shotting people in the 20's bracket..and 30's...and 40's...etc etc...but blizzard came out and said, "it's ok, resilience will fix this issue"

WoW was my first MMO...I didnt do the whole EQ or Lineage thing although I always heard good things about them I do, however, remember playing wow not long after it was released and having so much fun in that game. When bg's were brought into that game and people were really experimenting with the full potential of their characters/abilities and their ability to play them things got to be so much fun. Watching people get wrecked/humiliated/dominated was the best part...especially when it was a 2v1 fight and the 2 lost. People had CD's that were used appropriately and you had to think about when to use them and it greatly decided the outcome of what you were doing. This game has taken CD's to a whole new "spammable" level. Everybody's stuns stay on CD, everyones knockbacks stay on CD...If you pick up the ball in huttball, see how many people swarm you (as they should), but start counting the amount of stuns on you at the same time....i've counted up to 4. Stuns and cd's have just become a reaction to everyone as much as hitting your movement key...i wouldnt be surprised if some people have their stun bound to one of their movement keys. No skill needed....whoever has the most cd's up usually wins now. Shame on you for not having yours up when this guy attacking you blew trinkets and everything else that wasn't greyed out on his action bars. How can we get back to having a skill based game?
  20. The last paragraph is so true. Sadly, this game isnt about skill from any class, I think I've finally come to terms with that. In other games if you were good at your class you could go 2v1 with people and still win, assuming the other 2 people were mediocre. But, here, do to the 10k plus cd's that everyone has, it's impossible to show true skill. You can't survive 12 seconds of stuns/roots and come out on top... Same with multiple mercs on you, even 2 on you and you won't survive. On my marauder i've had 5 people just clobber me and during that 5 seconds of living i had 3 stuns on me...and i see the assassin use his knockback after im dead, glad stuns and knockbacks are part of peoples dps rotation, isnt it obvious these skills arent on too short of a CD?
