  1. Maybe its just my server then.. I check Mmo-junkies server populations and Darth Sion seems to be maintaining population and maybe growing slightly but I keep seeing the number of republic people in the fleet go down around 3-5 people on average each week. 3 weeks ago it would top out around 80 now its topping out around 55-65. If the server is still growing but the republic pop is going down it seems strange. Im in the same boat I dont want to leave my toon and start over but unless populations start growing republic side I really thing they will start dropping. Im sure there is a pop level that creates a self sustaining point but its not in the 60s like my sever.
  2. I'm not flaming or trolling but why do you believe it will balance out? I tend to think it will get worse. The Network Effect will come into play in the next few months. No one republic side will be able to get PvE groups, the market will be small and suck, and The imperials have equal Q times for PvP because of Huttball and whatever the new WZ is going to be. The Empire will have huge benefits in terms of availability compared to the Republic. The question is why play republic when Everyone is already Empire?
  3. They should be worried about the network effect. Basically once people start leaving one faction for the other.. its all over. it will be cascading affect where people that play on the faction losing people will either quit or re-roll to the primary faction. Basically killing half of the game and classes.
  4. Darth Zion Republic.. There is about 30 hardcore Republics on our side that are basically all BMs and thats it.. no one else PVPS. My entire guild rerolled Imperial because the 5-10 PM Imperial fleet has 160+ People while the Republic side has 35-65. They claim its so much better.. markets, Getting groups, Ilum, and even WZs because of Huttball. They said the stories are even a billion times better. They all want to play republic but claim there is no reason too.

I recently lost my entire guild to rerolls Empire because during Primetime hours there are 140-160 Imperials in their fleet while on the Republic side there is between 35-65. Thats nearly 3 to 1. I hate rerolling and I am pretty geared for PVP. They claim they have few issues getting groups for FP and Ops and because of Huttball they have almost Zero Q times. They said they almost never see Republic groups and fight in huttball 9 out of 10 games. This makes me think that the same faction Warzones are enabling the faction imbalances. (I heard another same faction WZ is coming soon also which my buddy was glad to hear because he is sick of Huttball) I think if the devs want to get this fixed.. which would be a first step move to fix any future ilum type PVP senerios is to reduce the benefits of same faction WZ. the following are a couple suggestions.. 1) Only create a same faction huttball game when the Q of one faction reaches 4 (or 5) times the number of Players in active WZs of the other faction. (IE bring back high Q times but not indefinite) 2)Huttball no longer rewards valor or Warzone coms. It should reward something else.. possibly social points or something else. (If you think about it.. its a sport more than the Galactic Civil war.. so valor and Warzone rewards.. don't really fit.) Maybe it rewards should be Sports stats. Track Average kills, Average scores, Average passes, average Guard, Healed, etc.. and have somewhere where they can be viewed Online or ingame. Keep a leader board. This would slow gearing for overpopulated faction but allow them to get something. 3) Stop allowing same faction Warzones. TL;DR: Same faction WZs enable population imbalaces, change rewards, or ability to quickly enter them is a relatively easy first step to healthy balanced Populations..

  7. But why do they have to put all that icky crit on my Accuracy Mods?! Doesn't BW know that every PVPer stacks Accuracy and then Absorb? All those other stats are completely worthless for PVP.
  8. Dear BW, Please stop putting so much Crit/surge/power on our BM stalker gear. Give me accuracy please! Those other abilities are completely worthless. What we need is MOAR ACCURACY. I wake up crying in the middle of night wondering why BW hates accuracy so much. If only they would take a little bit of that crit/surge/power away and give us just a little accuracy I would be so happy. Thanks, Puffy-eyed Sleepless Shadow.
  9. Be Kinetic and Use spinning kick.. I know it doesnt do huge dmg but it's basically the same thing.
  10. It's a bit over the top.. and when I mean a bit I mean alot. If anything let our "get out of snare free" ability make us immune for 2-5 seconds.. More then all the stuns is when I blow my force of will and then immediately get stunned again. Here are my suggestions. 1) The second your Resolve fills up.. you are immune.. not after the stun wears off. If an ability fills your bar.. it breaks itself. (Its frustrating looking at a full resolve bar and being encased in lightning. 2) Your break snare ability should add to your resolve bar (like 20%) and makes you immune for 5 seconds. This does 2 things. Lets you make yourself go immune pre-emptively and Keeps you from immediately being restunned basically wasting the ability.

  13. My Goal is to get Survivor set pieces and change everything out with the Stalker mods. Also to stay as close to 17.5k HP. Swapping out implants/earpieces/belt/bracers to maximine the 17.5HP and crit/surge/power Edit: I tend to run around with a healer buddy so the Guard set bonus is worth it for me.
  14. Nice.. Powerr, Gear question. I'm gearing up champion right now and I'm thinking of going full Survivor gear and trying to replace all the mods with the Suvivor hands mod ( End/Will/Defense) and the Stalker hands enhancement (End/Crit/Surge) basically trying to stack Defense, Crit, and surge. That should allow me to have huge health and survival while still being able to deal some dmg. With the new patch, do you think I should focus on Power instead of Crit/surge and pick up the crit/surge relic/Adrenalins instead?
  15. resilience is your friend. its a 1minute CD but it's basically as good as a stun/KD/KB/Inturpt. I dont have any issues 1 on 1 but get a couple of them together and it becomes a pain.. but thats the way it is for any class.
  16. Now that everything but BM gear is bought with tokens.. can we just take it to the next level and buy mods/enhancements. have them cost 40% of the total cost of a piece of gear so its still cheaper to buy the whole piece but allow us a little quicker customization. Thanks!
  17. I dont really blame BW for everyone rolling Imperial. All my friends begged me to roll Republic with them but I wanted Lightning. What is really concerning though is how all the differences between the mirrors..the Imps got faster animations thus better. It just seems odd. If the differences would have been sprinkled back and forth a little bit.. ok .. but they just all seem to favor the Imps. It is what it is, but I just wish that the animation advantage went both ways.

  19. I havent had any issues with Marauders. If we are talking duels be sure to pop relics, deflection, etc, etc... Since the last patch I tend to kite with Slow time+Project -> TK. Kick or Knockback when they get to close. watch your life. you should be able to get ahead of them on life and blow DMG CDs.
  20. I love Infiltration but because of all the stuns and knock backs I find that Kinetic just performs better. Sure I get big numbers with Infiltration but you have to just expect to die a lot more often. With kinetic.. im like.. alright..get your stuns over with so I can go immune and just destroy you.
  21. Kinetic.. is hilarious.. especially if you are under geared. I have 2 champion pieces, 2 centurion pieces, and all my lvling Oranges with Tanking Epics mods from the lvl 50 dailies. I have close to 18.5k HPs and can literally take a beating from like 4 people. throw on Deflection and a resilience every now and then and just laugh. You can really just kill them at your own pace because they cant really hurt you and if you start to get low.. stun, kick, etc and TK them with a 3 stack of HS. I plan on getting survior gear and swapping out for stalker mods as I go. Making sure I stay above 18K HP.
