I am doing the same and started a few days ago. Only level 14 but I've tried Combat Medic and Gunnery and definitely prefer Gunnery. You can heal pretty well as even at my low level I was able to pop off a few 175k healing warzones. I just didn't enjoy it much. I'm probably going to go straight Gunnery till 50 and then tinker with the build.

I was hoping to be sort of a affliction warlock with my balance build sage but the DoT damage just isn't very good. Unfortunately, spamming telekinetic throw while throwing out DoTs here and there is the best bet for damage in this spec I've found.

I'm not level 50 yet, but the daily/weekly quests reward you with bags right? How many bags do you get for each daily and weekly?

You have to be valor rank 60 which gives you access to the Battlemaster bags.

Is there a site that has up pictures of all the level 50 tier sets for the various classes?

That isn't a bug. It's an advantage of holding a turret node. I did however hop on to a speeder last night and proceeded to fly around in circles the entire warzone without landing. I couldn't join the fight, but I had a really neat view of the warzone the whole time.

I'm not sure that fixes anything. Clicking on the warzone symbol on the mini-map is the ONLY way I queue. Not to mention I always uncheck the requeue option after each warzone(since I almost always run with premades).

My human male Consular looks like Winona Ryder in The Crucible.

Some classes like Jedi Knights are late bloomers, but at 50 you can top the charts with any AC.

PvE is about twice as fast for me, but you can level decently in PvP. If you try to level through PvP exclusively though, you are probably going to get burnt out unless you REALLY love warzones.

I think the mission is bugged. I've completed it both times I've tried it(barely), but as stated already the ship you are escorting magically loses 80% of it's health once you clear the asteroid field.

I think you should try a new MMO. This one doesn't appear to be what you're looking for. Hope you find the game that does it for ya.

Agreed. If it HAS to provide character gear, how about on-level stuff? I know it's partially my fault for not reading the item level of the box, but what good is a level 50 boots going to do for my level 28 Consular? /Maybe I just missed the lower level boxes. Still, I want to spend fleet commendations on STARSHIP items.

I'm on Twin Spears as well, Republic side. I think things will be a bit better in a couple months when most people are at or near 50. I'm not going got lie though...right now it's hard to not get frustrated.

I read somewhere on here that a full PvP set only gives you a ~10-12% increase in damage/reduction in damage taken. That's not exactly enough to make a PvE exclusive player all of the sudden "good" in PvP.

I'm a teacher. I don't make a lot of money, but I have a ton of free time to do the things I enjoy(travel, golf, game).

This has happened to me before a few times on Taris and on my ship as well.

Is that the infiltration spec? You don't seem to be doing as much burst DPS as I thought a level 50 shadow would. I know that my 13 Shadow crits for about 2.5k with Shadow Strike. Good video though.
