You can talk to people of the other faction via /say (no chat bubbles in this game though).

You shouldn't need to do the turrets as a healer. The 2 DPS both run to it, one gets grappled, other one uses it. The fight can be a bit intense healing-wise if you're not used to it, but it is very doable. Big bonus about FE: last boss drops tier 2 chestpieces. I'd mention Taral V as being quite easy, but I think that's Republic-only.

I noticed keybindings and most/all preferences were gone when I reinstalled. Not sure where they would be located though.

I recently bought an SSD. I used to see 2-3 minutes load times for big planets like Tatooine, but now no load screen is longer than 20 seconds. I'm a bit puzzled how other people are seeing no difference at all.

Hovering the mouse over the price field of a stack of items on the GTN shows the price per unit.

You need to turn on 'Allow access to same class story area' under Preferences -> Social. The problem is only one of you can progress their class quest while inside. Probably easiest to split up for those parts. Or do it twice.

Well, I can confirm this is still happening. I traded the magenta crystal to a friend after we killed the ghost while he also had one in his inventory, and it gave some kind of inventory error, and poof, my crystal was gone. Annoying.

Incredibly annoying, isn't it? Tried to report it, but the response doesn't leave me hopeful that this will be fixed any time soon.

Don't bother trying to discover purple schematics while levelling. Too costly, time-consuming, and it will be obsolete in 2 levels. Don't send companions away on missions for the gathering crewskills; you can get that stuff for free out in the world. Excepting: (some?) crewskill vendor items can also be obtained from missions, and they are/should be cheaper that way (and can crit). Sell everything higher than greens. Even if it's something you can use, just sell it, it will be obsolete soon and you can get to 50 with quest gear. Delay purchasing skill ranks you don't need/don't use. Including mounts. 10% faster speed is about all you get for it. And above all, DO THE SPACE MISSIONS! They give ludicrous amounts of credits.

And according to those spreadsheets consulars aren't 'being singled out', really, there are other companions with no good gifts. At least I can agree that Qyzen not liking trophies is an odd design choice.

I hope this hasn't been posted yet... There's a museum on the republic fleet. It's on the Telos, if I remember correctly. Can't check right now. There's an elevator at the back of one of the decks that isn't marked on the map. The place isn't much, pretty small, not very interesting. But still, pretty obscure place I'd imagine.

You can destroy the stuff with the blue shield around it actually. You just have to use missiles, as blaster fire won't get past the shield. Some targets take a lot of missiles to destroy though. The thing at the underside of the space station takes about 25-30. NOTE: don't try that right now. Destroying the entire space station can cause the game to crash currently (it's getting fixed next patch).

I just got Iresso too, and I think I'm going to stick with him, even though I haven't really compared their tanking abilities that much. The lack of decent techblades for Qyzen is getting very annoying. Whereas Iresso already comes with a weapon with mods in it. Qyzen's also pretty slow to reach a target, his jump attack has a stuidly short range. You can just exchange some of the gear between them btw. I had 2 pieces of orange gear for Qyzen and his implants + ear thing that I could just give to Iresso.
