  1. Doing what to pineapples??? O.o https://youtu.be/-s_VxJ79zsk

  3. I actually didn't subscribe till about 2 weeks before the official release. So all I got was the free lvl 60 character. That said, I would have loved to've gotten the companion. Just didn't know about it. Now, I feel that it's a piece of the story I'll never know about. Rewards should be purely cosmetic in my humble opinion. Make them cool enough, and people will want them. The KOTOR inspired bike...no. Because no one wants the SWAG speeder. I promise you. New people coming to the game are going to be upset they won't get Nico as a companion. That was a bad move. Here's the best idea you'll ever receive. Subscriber packs. A box of 30 packs per month. Have 1 or 2 cool mounts, 1 set of armor, and so on. Make it to where people can sell them on the auction house. People can either roll the dice and try to get something cool in the packs, or sell them for some credits. Another good idea. Have companions in the packs every so often. A quest line for one. Keep it KOTOR related. Descendants of characters, or even characters themselves if you find a legit reason to have them frozen in time. Say a companion is in a mind maze. Like what we saw in KOTOR. Lost in there for centuries. Body decayed, and you trick someone - an enemy - into the mind maze. You would say, get Jolee Bindo BUT in a new body. Things like that. People would eat it up. Could even put statues of the original companions in the subscriber packs.
  4. Was a loyal supporter of both Bioware and SWTOR from the get go. Playing in the betas, staying subbed for 3 years. Then Rise of the Hutt Cartel came out, then Galactic Starfighter, and soon it was all the Revival of Revan. I lost faith. ...so I left. And I was vocal about what the company had done to drive me away, what I had thought SWTOR capable of being. When they announced KotFE, I was first excited. I thought it would be taking the game back to it's roots. Then an interview came out a few days after. It said that there would be no new class specific anything, no new companion stories. Said everything was pretty much going to be solo. The way they worded that interview angered me. Made it sound like this expansion would be 'same old same old' It wasn't until I saw a trailer for it. Till I saw the proposed patch notes that it finally intrigued me enough to reinstall. And I'm glad I did. Great job Bioware. https://youtu.be/D-xlSFHSVZ8
  5. Are you in game, everything fine - full bars - then BAM, red bar? 2k - 6k ms? If customer service can't help you. IF your ISP can't help you. Then this post might just. Because here is what's happening: Between our ISPs and the game servers we choose, you'll find data centers that handle the traffic of all our signals. Typically there are little to no issues. Since about June/July however, a company known as Level 3 Communications has been in disputes with a handful of ISPs. Most notably, Time Warner Cable, AT&T and Verizon. What these disputes are about? There's no official answer. Just a lot of speculation. As a result of these disputes; we the consumers are being unlawfully punished. Level 3 Data centers everywhere have started slowing down signals from these ISPs they're having disputes with. Throttling our signals in some cases. Causing us to lag in game, to have terrible spikes. Sometimes even making games completely unplayable. There is NOTHING the game's support can do about it. NOTHING your ISP WILL do about it. UNLESS, you complain. All of you. Everyone. And not JUST to your ISP. There are other people you can complain to. To exercise your RIGHT as consumers. To show these companies that while they can have their business disputes, it should never and WILL never end up with us, the consumers, used as leverage. How do I know all of this you might ask? and how can you determine if THIS is your problem? I'll tell you. Firstly, I have spent the better part of a month bouncing between different support technicians. Spent a better part of a month living in my command prompt. SPENT that month doing research, putting together all the pieces, and FINALLY getting confirmation. Because I spoke to a top tier technician at my ISP. They confirmed for me all my speculation. They said that the company was in disputes with Level 3. Not just them, but a small list of other ISPs as well. The agent told me the only way to get this fixed is to cause pressure. To raise awareness. Because there was nothing he could do to fix it himself. Thing is, us consumers aren't the ones responsible for fixing any problem with the service we pay for. No. It is the service provider's burden! So while yes, we should complain to them. To the ISP, to Level 3 - we should ALSO take this matter to the FCC and the FTC. Because when we sign for these services. We're not told a third party can take our signal hostage. We're not told that there may be issues with the SERVICE that the SERVICE will, essentially, refuse to fix for us. That they expect us all to wait, be patient for it to resolve itself. Meanwhile paying full price for the service we are unable to use for the purposes we purchased it! This is how you, reading this, can figure out if YOU'RE having these problems. Go to your command prompt. Which you can find by right-clicking the windows button on the task bar, or simply opening up search and typing cmd. Once you see it, run it as administrator. It's called running it in elevated mode. Do NOT be afraid of doing this. You will not mess up your computer. You're not changing anything. And if you do it wrong, it will tell you. This is easy. Now, whichever game you're playing. You want to be logged into it while you do all this. Be on your character so that the signal is active. You're going to need the server IP address. Now, you can find this by various means. Some games provide them if you look. Others you have to dig up yourself. You can use a netstat commands to track it down if necessary. Here's what each do: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff961504.aspx ONCE you have your server number, in your command prompt type this: pathping "then the IP number, minus these quotes" also be aware of the space between pathping and the IP. Once it runs. You can do a tracert Basically the same as pathping. Except you're replacing the word 'pathping' with 'tracert' Still a space between it and the IP address. NOW, you may have to do this multiple days to catch level 3. Because they use programs to hide their name when pinged, but it isn't perfect. If you see that your connection is fine on most hops, but times out in one or two in between. THAT is the level 3 node you're looking for. Tracert may show it despite their software. and here's how you know if it's them. Most the time, when you catch them, it'll have their name in the info. You'll see* "level3" somewhere in the code. Also, if the IP number starts with 4. it's them as well. As they own all IP addresses that start with a single 4 You can confirm it's them by copying the number - which, right-click inside the black of the command prompt and then click 'mark'. Highlight whatever you want to copy with your cursor, then hit ENTER. You take that IP address and paste it in your browser. It'll show you who it belongs to. Once you are certain level 3 communications is the culprit. It's time to start complaining. Save your pathpings and tracerts. Can do so in notepad via txt format, can take screenshots with the print screen key and paste them in paint. Or you can simply copy the information and paste it into a word document. Once you have them saved, make sure you blur out or delete your OWN IP address. Which is typically the first and second hop. You don't want that to get into the wrong hands. Now, where to complain. FIRST, call and complain to your ISP. If you're with time warner, I was told by the tech there to go to their website: https://www.timewarnercable.com/en/support/overview.html Speak to one of their reps via chat. Have your saved pathpings and such ready. Ask them if they are able to send a ticket to Genoc. If so, give them the information. Tell them what's going on and have them send it to Genoc. IF you have a rep that can't, ask for another rep. Far as other ISP providers. Call, ask for their top level techs. Tell the agent your problem is with level 3 communications throttling your signal due to disputes with the ISP. After you've complained to your ISP. Complain to Level 3 via twitter. #your game in the tweets. So others can see what's happening. You can also complain to them via their facebook.

And that you won't take it. If they don't resolve their issue, you will take it to the FCC and FTC. Which is what you should do anyways. Put even more pressure on this situation. You may not think it'll work, but there are cases in the past where enough people complained and the government has FORCED businesses to solve the problem. Here are links to both the FCC and FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov https://consumercomplaints.fcc.gov This will not only help you, but help those others going through the same thing. And it'll help the games, who get all these complaints, figure out what the cause really is. And they TOO can put pressure on level 3 to resolve the issue. I'd say for a quick fix, switch ISPs. Only...we don't know who is all on that list fighting with level 3. You could try an wait this out. But it's been months already. How much longer? Even if you don't have the problem or don't want the hassle, I'd ask for myself and everyone else with this issue - please bump these posts, share them around, and tell your friends who may be lagging. Because this might be the reason. Thank you.
  7. When I left the game around January, everything was fine. Little lag in Makeb arena was all. Came back last week, and have exactly what OP said. 85ms will jump to 2-9k ms every 20secs to a min, depending on what I'm doing. Warzones are the worst. Almost unplayable Computer is well beyond the specs needed to run this game, not that it'd effect lag spikes anyways. ISP says my net is fine. Tracert and Pathping show everything's fine. Was nothing strange on tracert, and on pathping - only a 7% packet loss on the 3rd hop. SO - I'm left to assume this is a Bioware problem, as all my other online games run well. I'd very much like the devs to address this in some form or faction. As I'd love to recommend to everyone on my channel and former players I know, "hey, come back, the improvements are worth it." BUT I can't with this ridiculous lag.
  8. I just came back a week ago. Left back in January or somethin. Game was fine back then. Random lag in Makeb Arena was all. NOW THOUGH ....every warzone, on fleet, on planet - will be at say 93ms and go up to 153, then BOOM everything freezes and I'm in the red. Over an over, but in random intervals. I've checked with my ISP - I've done the ping an tracer tests. I get only 7% loss on the 3rd jump, but no other issue. With everyone I ask saying they've pretty much the same thing. I dunno WHAT you few out there do to avoid it, but...wish it was made available to all of us lol
  9. You can go beyond BW and report them to the police for cyberbullying. Someone told a girl to do that, and she did. They're spending 10 years in prison now. Is a serious thing
  10. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHk-66pqXu4
  11. Had fun making this one https://youtu.be/HIjvkpJiNY0
  12. To wiz and the others in the thread - here is how I play merc. Here is how I own as merc. AND HERE is something your dps meters and practice dummies can't refute https://youtu.be/HIjvkpJiNY0
  13. Understand this. I don't care what people think about me. Like me, don't - I'm honest and I don't censor myself. Nothing anyone says gets to me. Call me fat, call me ugly - doesn't matter. That's their ignorance, not mine. Far as community goes, I counter with - what community? It's fractured. Some on one side, some on another, some down the street, and another group over in the field. It isn't united and never will be. I will defend clicking as the majority of the game does it. I'll defend clicking as this game isn't about precision. On wildstar I was keybound. On GW2 I was keybound as those games demanded it. This? no. and my rotation is sound on the merc. Only flexibility needed is missile blast and managing position so as not to be focused by ranged while you kite the melee on you. Managing self heals while still doing dmg. Timing knockbacks so they aren't wasted on immunity, same as stuns. but the ROTATION for burning someone never changes. Never
  14. none of which has anything to do with anything lol. No matter what anyone does, they are open to such idiocy. Grow up, acquire intelligence, then give an opinion that matters. Eh?
  15. You didn't prove anything with the dps meter bub. As someone pointed out, you used power surge in your rotation WITH fusion missile but didn't use it in the rotation without fusion missile. You purposely gave the rotation YOU favored the advantage with the meter lol. on the same team as each other, I'll beat your dps every time. I'll even die 5 or so more times than you and still have higher dps. just how it is.
  16. you have that backwards IO is terrible dps. No burst. I never even notice an IO merc is attacking me lol
  17. he never proves anything lol. He just seems to to new-ish players who don't know better. and I'm not a civilized person. I'm an honest person. Being PC only wastes peoples' time
  18. and I beat everyone btw, Pyro aka IO now, is garbage. Sorry IO fans, but it's true. No IO merc will ever been a decent Arsenal merc. especially once they give Arsenal mercs 5 stacks of decoy. simmer on that dot tabbers, pshh
  19. lol - playing your own way is fine....if it's not completely wrong. Which any rotation involving fusion missile is in arsenal. End of story and please, absorb facts before making statements such as 'PvE' oriented. There are rotations in pvp. Any that don't understand that are either new or bad.
  20. And him up there flatly refusing to listen about fusion missile? lol just goes to show, he'll suggest people try his way, but when someone says his way is wrong. He does his BEST to argue. Instead of 'trying' it out.
  21. lol no he isn't. Below average. If you watch, he rarely beats anyone. Dots them up and runs away. Doesn't play to win, only pads his numbers.
