  1. Selling Cartel Certificate decos, vendors, dancers, etc for 2.5 million each. I have a large number of the certificates in storage. Either reply here or send mail (or /whisper) REP: Janqi or Orbans IMP: Flince
  2. It's been a couple weeks, and absolutely zero forum response from any Bioware/EA employee. So I unsubbed this afternoon. Below is my exit poll commentary. "Your poor handling of the recent Cartel Slot Machine issue has made me regret the $3,000+ I have spent on this game. I am sorry that I, as a customer, do not warrant a community service representative's reply to the furor on the forums regarding the bait-and-switch tactic you pulled with the latest Cartel Market packs. It is a total shame that our concerns have been completely ignored. I will no longer support your business with my money, and will go out of my way to convince others to do the same. This could have been prevented by your company having the fortitude to have Mr. Musco actually comment on the forums and explain the poor communication, the ridiculously bad changes to items purchased with real money, and what plan is being made to fix the issue." Good luck to you all, and I hope Bioware/EA decide their customers are worth taking 10 minutes to address.
  3. The quickest, easiest, least time-consuming way they could reestablish community relations is to post on these forums more than once a week. Once that's accomplished, we will work on the relevance of their posts. I.e., addressing concerns, not silly streams. If that is worked out, we will then have to focus on their accuracy. I.e., not posting half-truths, diversions, smokescreens, nonsensical spin, and marketing blather. If we somehow manage those objectives, we may be rewarded with a halfway decent "Community Relations" team... but I suspect they will be fired soon after.
  4. That's a direct quote from Eric there, hero. There's no word twisting whatsoever. Eric Musco is the dev's mouthpiece here on the forums, and when he says something, one expects it to be relatively accurate and concise. One would also like to have somewhat frequent frequent interaction with a "Community Relations" team. In this case, at best, Eric's post is misleading. It implies (to a significant portion of this forum's readers) that Jawa Junk, not the blue mats, nor the green, nor especially the certificates were even under consideration. Any reasonable player expected a reduction in the drop rates, especially of the purple mats, but the virtual removal of ALL items is what has sparked the furor, along with the conspicuous absence of any official word. How's that for comprehension? Better luck next time, Sparky.
  5. Thanks! Interesting... I am flush with credits, so I think I will keep an eye on GTN for unlocks. Bummer about ranked WZs, but oh well.
  6. In the same boat, but with PvP my thing. I wonder how much I would have to pay, exactly, to keep my main 3 or 4 toons as is via unlocks, and then just go F2P?
  7. The irony. Emphasis added. Words ARE important. So is accuracy.
  8. Pretty sure that position was taken by the team that posted more than once a week...
  9. Apologies, but my sense of humor is getting frayed as I watch poor management and virtually nonexistent community relations destroy a game I enjoy and had high hopes for.
  10. This. In fact, I find their quips and (not remotely funny) jokes about the bugs/clunkiness/poor quality of their game to be more than mildly off-putting. Would so much rather there be some place where they could make consistent and frequent feedback regarding player concerns. Can't think of any venues they have for that, though.
  11. < Cricket > < Cricket > < Cricket > < Coyote > Was that a tumbleweed going by?
  12. I haven't purchased player-crafted armor virtually at all since I could get it from packs. I suspect many people have done the same, as well as weapons, mounts, crystals, and dyes. As far as level 50 crystals go, why buy a new one from a crafter that is identical to the one I got from a pack, and used at level 10? I don't think the CSM "completely destroyed conventional crafting". I know I was finally able to craft myself and a few friends new gear without having to pay the inarguably exorbitant prices the mat barons and gougers had for purple gear. I do agree, ultimately, that the purple JJ drop rate needed to be adjusted down, but not eliminated... And the machine certainly didn't need to be gutted like it was.
  13. If this is accurate, then his judgement is questionable. And I suspect that since he can be bothered to prattle about some meaningless streaming nonsense, he has the time to keep us updated on what is evidently a significant concern of ours. How this is such a complex concept, is beyond me.
  14. Really? just how much "dealing" is he doing with the community? How many times does he post on the forums weekly? And if going to a bar and looking snide on our dime counts, I'll take the job...
  15. Quite possibly the most disingenuous argument regarding the CSM. Orange armor bits from cartel packs, +41 crystals from packs, speeders from packs, etc., ALL impacted crafting, and in some cases, virtually negated their importance.
  16. And a more accurate one would be: You bought a car, they said it was mostly fine, and then gave you a pair of hiking boots.
  17. I am absolutely flabbergasted. Stunned at the stones on these guys to post this in light of the forum mayhem of the last week.
  18. Fixed for accuracy and clarity. No need to thank me, it's a public service.
  19. Fixed for you. Updated for accuracy and clarity. You are welcome.
  20. All 142 pages of this discussion are pointless if BW doesn't even acknowledge their blunder. It's 4:30 PM, Pacific, and not a peep from Musco...
  21. Ironically, they DO watch these threads. I got a warning, and a post removed this morning. On the other hand, they don't bother to be timely with real information.
  22. If they don't even do us the basic courtesy of addressing this issue here on the forums, they won't be selling much at all, at least to me.
  23. Absolutely correct. Only items I have ever attempted to sell after crafting were items I failed to crit and get an aug slot on. The only thing the ****** of the slot machines accomplished was to bolster the mat barons. Oh, and piss off a sizable portion of a paying playerbase. Still waiting on an answer, BW.
