When you get off the starter area, you'll see the areas are actually extremely large. Hoth is bigger than any zone in WOW for example.

Your first issue is you rolled Empire on a PVP server. Roll Republic on a PVP server if you like World PVP. Second, have you been to the imperial fleet? There's about a dozen battleships with countless smaller ships. How do you propose an enemy trooper would even make it to the imperial fleet, be allowed to land, and disembark from there ship freely?

Carbine is still a different classification of weapon. They usually have folding stocks with much shorter barrels. Manuveuring with a full sized battle rifle doing CQB is pretty difficult also. This is like saying a submachine gun is just a lengthened pistol, or a pistol is a short submachinegun. If you ever saw Boba's EE3, it is not a "short rifle".

When BC came out in WOW and pushed the level cap from 60 to 70, a member of my guild I ran quit the game after getting to level 70 in 2 days and not having anything to do, because the rest of us took 2 weeks to get to 70. Same story here from the OP.

ROFL. ROFL ROFL. Serious???? The graphics keep getting worse. If you think the newer zones/models are better in detail in WOW than SWTOR, holy cow................. thats like saying Techmo Bowl Football on Nintendo 8 bit has better graphics than Madden '12 on PS3.

/agree I find it funny when they complain about the graphics being Nintendo 8 bit quality and then say they are going back to WOW.

Boba actually used a carbine. I picked up a pistol on Taris that actually looks like a small submachine gun, similar to a Tek-9 in style, with a scope on it.

2.) There are many games where you can't paint gear. WOW is one. 4.) WOW, you can only have 2. You want a game where 1 person can pick and have every profession?

You do know about orange gear, right? If you get a look you like on your character wearing orange gear, you can simply update the enhancements as you level and keep using it. I'd like to see a website like wowhead.com with screen shots of gear and such and where they drop, Its tough right now to piece together cool looking sets that all match.

WOW is a great game, but it ruined the MMO players attitude and expectations. Right now in WOW, you can smash your keyboard run through a 5 man "heroic" smashing AOE's and receive full epics. There is no challenge. LFG and LFR. Great concepts if you are solo and looking to run something. But these tools also bring out the worst in people. It rewards ninja looters, afkers, bots, etc. There is no sense of community anymore in the game. Your ignore list is now more important than your friends list. (people on ignore you don't get grouped with in LFR or LFG). All toons look the same. Character customization is horrendous. ie, all dwarves look the same, except some may have a different hair style. Customer service in WOW is actually pretty awesome. By far the best for any MMO I played. Armor and Weapon designers - horrendous. By far the worst weapons and armor for any fantasy game I have played. I agree, WOW set the standard. This game officially launched 9 days ago. It will only be getting better. Queues are improving, load times are getting better, and they already have a new content update announced.

hahahaha! ps..............Glad I'm not the only one! After doing tons of quests there I finally figured out the layout. I use the neutral AH a lot, so you learn where everything is pretty quick after a while.

Guild Bank Improved Auction House UI and searching Not being booted from AH terminal when missions complete from a companion ability to change UI layout around fixing guild member listing from bugging out and displaying no one Minor fixes imho.

I remember those amazing quests from the SWG terminals: Kill - destroy a couple waves of critters, then there lair. Deliver - Deliver a package Running around wide open areas was no fun, especially when the area was littered with abandoned structures.

Actually, he's about 90% incorrect. For 1, there is gear appearance customization. Get a piece of orange gear you like, and you can upgrade it indefinately as you level with enhancements. Great idea imho.

I played WOW to level 5, talk about lifeless, dull, small and the end game was horrible.

try swimming out into the ocean in WOW, you get exhaustion too. Areas are far smaller too in WOW. Questing? Linear in WOW also. You go from camp to camp, or from village to village doing quests in a zone. Then there is a "finale" quest in the zone.

The WOW forums are filled with the same types. Saying the game sucks, its going to be ruined, Azeroth is going to a fiery pit, game is too easy, everyones a jerk, etc. They keep sending their $15 a month though. The only way you can run across some of the planets in 4 minutes is by speed hacking. The planets seem to be getting progressively larger. I'm on Hoth now, bigger than any zone in WOW I've been in. Each planet is unique it seems too with absolutely breath taking scenery: From the nightlife large city of Nar Shaddaa, to the destroyed battlefield of Taris, deserts of Tattooine, to the frozen tundra of Hoth. Space Combat? Its a mini game. I'd be willing to bet my first born Sith they have big plans in the works ;-) .

No gear appearance customization? Have you played the game? ORANGE armor. If you get a set you like, you can keep it for XX levels, just keep buying better upgrades. Sorry, in WOW, the armor and weapons look so bad..............they HAD to do a customization. Recolor armor from blue to red = new tier armor for WOW. WWF championship sized belts and shoulder armor that looks like it weights more than I do.

Having a bug in the graphic with no change between medium and high resolution setting is not "completely broken". If the graphics were "completely broken", the game would be unplayable.
