and then post on forum a fresh thread declaring it. Even worse are the ones that continue to log in playing a game they hate and tell any1 and every1 they can why they hate it so much. And usually it because they can't have a lightsabre the colour they imagined 6 months ago or they don't have a move that they think their class should have out of the infinite permutation of all things possible. Or the people that log in and whine about things you never heard them mention before, and then you realise it is because they read it on a infectious forum, and it is now their opinion too! or the ones that plain think if they die it isn't their fault, it is BW's fault. BTW what is ability delay and animations bug? I only ever experienced this when I am too far from my enemy or during a slight bit of lag. Having said that this game is on the way out. The most pathetic attempt at open PvP, I can only imagine they thought the players would make it happen, I suspect they thought the best thing about DAOC was Emain. But in DAOC we had keeps/relics for long term enjoyment, and all other kinds of richness. Open PvP has suspense/intrigue/drama, imbalanced odds, fair and unfair fight, long and short term tactics and fun. Oh and 3 warzones. lol. 3. The original answer to balanced PvP (teams) but oh so formulaic/repetitive. Yet the PvP mechanics are there, the classes are great, my sentinel is much fun.

Sentinels are fun too! Sorcs don't need a nerf, I kill them easy often, occasionally good sorcs (any healer types) give you a run for your money. What is lethal, is when u are versus 3 or 4 sorcs, you drop in a second, but then 3 or 4 of any class would drop you in a second and a half!

Please don't water down the sentinel, I find mine much fun to play, anyway the game is already on it's way out. Games companies that build great games with great functions but lack the final 10% of bringing it all together. Ilum is very simple at best and 3 warzones... Forums are full of whine, ventrilo is full of whine, broad chat same.

I played voidstar last night vs 8 sorcs. Every imperial was a sorc! We won pretty easy though!

Lol so true OP, I have like 20 relics and still missing head and chest, I am rank 58.5 now, ..., my crit and surge is rubbish, I had to buy a crafted hat for 130k from AH just to get some crit for my sentinel because centurion is all +power!

I had the very same dilema last night. My spec (for PvP), i have force fade, like the others say, great for PvP, it is basically another and much better version of Guarded by the force. I have 32 points in Watchman, so only the 5m force leap, you got plenty of stuff to do from melee range, you really dont need 0 range force leap imo. I swapped Insight for Master Focus, because force stasis is good. As an interupt, it is good, it is also good for those chaotic situations, you can just pin that jumping/sprinting/spamming erm, enemy, down. Also, quite effective, say against healers is to dot them with OS and Cauterise, then Force Stasis them, then as it ends, spam any relics/stimpacks and hit merciless strike. 50% to 0% and nothing they can do about it (often). Finally you do notice the extra 10 seconds CD, bigtime in PvP. BTW what exactly are your force DPS moves, I think only force sweep, so ...that is what sealed that deal for me. Plus I do use master strike in PvP. Anyway back on topic, I went with the extra focus on leap, I am going to try observe the AE dmg I take closely, I may swap it back lol. (Useless reply!) I just felt that in most situations you are 1 v 1/2/3 AE don't really come into it, I asked my trooper brother do you often use your AEs, the answer was not usually, sure when the opportunity presents itself. Plus I imagine AEs don't hit as much as singles (dont mention focus specs..), plus in those crazy AE situations you can easily force fade away. But then all classes can AE, even us occasionally and for some it is their main move (you can mention focus sents/guards now ), so 30% defence on AE attrition might be good... Plus often that extra focus is at the start of a fight, so is actually worth more than a focus! You can get MS out that much sooner etc.

I need a reply to see whether I should respecc or not, and then Queue up for WZs time is precious (I don't neccessarily mean from Devs)

so, let me get this straight, right now, if I am specced in Searing Sabre and Plasma Blades, I should have 36% increase to base damage burn effects? Or is one overwriting the other, such that we are (currently) only getting 30% or 6%? I want to spec optimally! I already respecced it out and missed the base damage 30% increase update post, because there are like a million whine threads all saying the same thing ...

Yes, even with Watchman spec, I use the boomerang to debuff healers, always.

Any class in the right hands is OP. Dedication, confidence and enthusiasm are enough to rock in pvp. 90% of this forum's posts are whine and 90% of those whines are wrong. In pvp you die, a lot, once your pride accepts this fact, you can enjoy any pvp game PS my sentinel, guess what, OP!

I have hit enemies in PvP for over 4k with MErciless Slash (Which takes 1 nano second to pull off) I have hit enemies in PvP for over 3k with dispatch. I have mutilated enemies with a sequence of force leap/cauterise/one or 2 other hits before I even have to hit Zen. So you exagerate and everyone knows that Watchman> Combat You see that commando you are jealous of, 1 force kick renders him useless. Discuss.

We don't have a charge, we have force leap and transcendence.

I love my sentinel, he is fun to play, I don't think he is underpowered, I have not played any other classes though. I know this with games though, a challenging game is more fun and longer lasting than an easy game. The only time I have had stutter or delay is when I am a fraction too far from my target. I know we all like to sensationalise trivial things but it is just a game... Also experience dictates that, people are going to relentlessly whine in the hopes that we get boosted, BW will give in to salvage subscriptions, we will become fotm, then we get nerfed. Games usually get it right first time, we just need the gamers/skills/techniques to mature. The next whine is going to be zerging in ilum, we will mature and roam in full groups, but in-between there is gonna be a whole lotta whinge.
