Lot's of EA/Bioware staff on today. I think they have even hired extra people to shill for them this week. Either that or having to wait for up to 4-5 hours to play this game is perfectly fine, and we should just suck it up like good little sheep.

Surely Bioware are not going to allow any more toons to be created on many of the existing servers with high populations. To do so would be a slap in the face to us all. All the new accounts coming online tomorrow need to get the own NEW servers.

Bioware started out with such a high reputation before this launch, and also with a huge amount of goodwill from gamers who have been eagerly awaiting this game for such a long time. The good reputation of Bioware is taking a serious hit because of these awful queues. Bioware are also rapidly loosing all that goodwill, which is being replaced by bitterness and cynicism. People are only going to put up with this so long, before they quit the game, and tell all their friends about their horrible experience. As bad as the queues are, what really angers me is the lack of communication from anyone at Bioware. We want someone to explain to us how this problem has been allowed to occur, and what steps are going to be taken to fix it, and when. We also want an apology, not some patronising advice to re-roll on a less-populated server, which given the all the time people have already invested in-game and queing to get in-game is frankly downright insulting. It takes years to build up a good reputation, yet it takes a fraction of that time to lose it. The suits in charge at Bioware would do well to remember this. As for me. I am contacting as many gaming blogs, magazines and websites as I can today in order to bring these matters to the attention of the wider gaming community. I encourage everyone who is pissed off with this situation to do the same. Mayber Bioware might actually start listening once the bad reviews and negative articles start rolling in.

The only way bioware will fix the queues is if we the pissed off customers force them to. How? Well write or e-mail every major gaming magazine, website and blog. Only after a torrent of bad publicity is something ever going to get done. Let's pay bioware back for this disgusting state of affairs.

Just buy one from the Galactic Trade Network. located in the Market sector in Coruscant. I think you can also access the GTN while on the republic fleet?

If you have spent any time playing World of Tanks, you would know why large numbers of Russians on your server is not a nice prospect.

I think it's fair to say that Bioware really dropped a bollock yesterday with the servers, and waiting times. in the end it took me over an hour to log on to Frostclaw, which is where my guild was assigned. Now it's still early days, and I am prepared to be patient and give Bioware time to address these issues. But if this is going to be a regular occurance in a few weeks or months, then I will not be renewing my sub.

I have to wait over 1 hour to get on the same server as the rest of my clan. This just isn't good enough. This isn't beta. There is no excuse for this state of affairs.

I have the Geforce 210, and managed ok with it in beta.

I think most players are well aware that not everyone was going to get early access right away. I pre-ordered in October. I don't expect to get in before Friday, anything earlier will be a bonus.

20th October. Might get in tomorrow if I'm lucky, although Friday looks more realistic.

Is anyone else disappointed by the general tone of these foums and the glaring lack of good manners? It seems nearly every OP (including this one no doubt) gets trolled by dozens of totally worthless replies that constitute nothing but snide ad-hominems, smart-arse comments, and sneering. Regardless of the merit of the OP. This seems to have become much much worse since the forums were wiped for release. Where have all these unpleasant ill-mannered little brats suddenly appeared from? It would be nice if the mods were a little more on the case here, and started handing out sanctions against aganst the worst offenders. and make these forumes a better place.
