Look at Eve Online and World of Tanks. Two game that are both centered around PvP (especially WoT which is exclusively PvP) and both are very sucessful.

I initially rolled on a PvE server, but I am tempted to reroll on a PvP server (not just because my original server is dying), but if there's no open world PvP, then what's the point? I want to experience good, large-scale spontaneous open-world PvP. I'll be keeping tabs on how GW2 works out.

My server is now dead, my guild is demoralised, and I no longer have the motivation to log-in to an empty server. The saddest thing of all is that all of this was avoidable.

Every planet should have PvP zones, much like outlaws den on Tatooine. Even on PvE servers. these zones should contain nodes for rare crafting mats, that frequently change location. This provides a reason for players to visit these areas. Then hey presto! We have open world PvP. Too bad the game engine wouldn't be able to cope with it.

Im my opinion the tank-spec guardian is more UP than the sentinel is OP. Tanks are just way too squishy.

A top notch hilt can be purchased with daily commendations. Or you can do some PvP and get a PvP saber.

Hi folks, So i'm going to make a new alt, and I want a ranged character. I don't want a gunslinger as they are too immobile, and scoundrels are Melee than ranged. So I want to make a good ranged DPS trooper that has some mobility. Do i need a vanguard or a commando? and which spec is best?

I want to be able to change my toon's face. Why can't I give him a haircut, or be able to grow a beard? How hard can it be to put a few barber vendors about the place?

My main was a defense guardian with war-leader gear, But I bacame rather fed up with hitting like a girl and yet I still seemed to be a squishy as any other class. As I upgraded my gear from Cent to Champ, I switched to the vindicator gear and was a bit happier with the incresed dps. I didn't seem any less squishy than before. In the end I just re-specced to vigilance. Still squishy, but at least I can hit back... very hard.

Vigilance all the way for me. I finally "feel" like a powerful jedi when questing. I didn't get that feeling with the defence spec.

Agree with this. Jedi knights in particular are very underpowered until they start getting key skills in the late 30s.

As a guardian. I recenly re-specced to vigilance, but most of my experiences with Operatives were as a tank guardian, and they weren't pleasant. You also have to take inton account that I'm "bad"
