I've decided to create new characters and NOT level them to 50 to enjoy PvP these days. Every now and then I come up against a coordinated group and we get waxed. But that happens about 20% of the time at most. The other 80% of the time I usually have a lot of fun.

Maybe I just haven't found it, is there a way to look at maps of other planets when on a planet, or on your ship? The main reason is a guild mate was asking where something on Tattooine was and I was on Belsavis. I couldn't remember the name of the place I was trying to describe, but if I could have pulled up my map of Tattoonie I could have explained where it was much easier.

Nothing game-changing or anything of course. But when Tharan casts "Deploy Holiday" I can only remember seeing her actually there a handful of times. Am I doing something wrong? Tharan uses that ability during each fight on his own.

Thanks! I was having the same problem. But, I could click on "reset" on the quest, and I did. Had to go back and do the last part of the quest again, then came back to the hanger and still stuck. Read your thread here and walked over to the area where she spawns and BAM! Finally.

I notice this "character responsiveness" problem all the time too. I personally thought it was my slow computers. The computers I play on have pretty weak video cards. I get anywhere from 5-fps to 15-fps while playing, at times it gets even as low as 0.6-fps. It gets painfully slow at times, and that is why I thought the 'delay' was just my computers. One place I really notice it is when I try to jump onto or over things. It feels like I have to press the space bar to jump about a half second before I actually want to jump. Its kinda disheartening to hear that a LOT of other people are experiencing this too. I was hoping that after I upgraded my video card next week that things would get a lot better. Maybe not... QQ

What he said. Having shadows enabled crushes performance for some reason. I was playing in beta with shadows with no problems, but during early access my frame rate was atrocious. Once I disabled shadows my fps almost tripled.

I disabled that harpoon ability of his. I prefer to keep my distance from enemies.

Good question. I took up armstech too because I thought like you did, that later on the stats on the un-modded guns would be different. Luckily I didn't sell "Flashy". I too am wondering if its worth leveling up that skill at all... So far my Smuggler has a lot more money than my Jedi Knight. Probably because my Jedi is a few levels higher and those skills start costing a lot around level 20. I think I'll wait a while on leveling up armstech or maybe change to cybertech...

Well I'm in Cali and I've been playing on an east coast server for a few days now and haven't noticed much lag at all. I don't have a really great internet connection or computer either.
