  1. I tend to agree with this. The GCD in this game is terribly long, so as long as you cancel as soon as the second hit registers, you're doing more damage.
  2. The bugs are obnoxious and unintended. Hardmode isn't hard even with the bugs. Get over yourself.
  3. Is it possible? Yes. Is it a good idea? No. Quest leveling is much faster if you're efficient, just spacebar EVERYTHING. Remember that waiting in queue is downtime.
  4. If you're in the group they are in, it certainly is their business, especially if you're playing poorly and holding the rest of the group back. If you don't want to contribute to a group, don't join one.
  5. A tank and two healers already win Huttball unless the entire enemy team dogpiles the healers and swaps correctly (and the two healers aren't good at video games). This also assumes the tank's team isn't helping. At all.
  6. So when we get damage parsers up and running and Juggernauts are 10% or more behind marauders (i.e.- not worth a raid spot), who are we going to submit our complaints to?
  7. The most efficient way to deal with the encounter is to skip it. You're better off wandering into easy mode EV and gearing up for hardmode that way.
  8. Enrage timers are necessary at this point, at least until they work out mechanics and figure out how to design interesting encounters. Right now, a fight is two or three gimmicks and an enrage. Not very complex, but they were probably rushed out to meet EA's release date. That said, none of them are particularly bad for what they are. Eventually everyone will outgear them and not have any reason to go back anyway. If we're still seeing 5 or 6 minute zergfest bosses populating raids in the future, then it's time to start worrying.
  9. Right now the only people using the AH are those buying materials to level crafting (other crafters) and the suckers that get duped into buying leveling gear. You should never waste credits buying gear while leveling. Crafted gear isn't better than raid and pvp gear. There's no reason to buy anything unless you're throwing money away by crafting, except maybe buff flasks if they exist.
  10. Our juggernaut tank was screwed out of an upgrade helm because it was assigned to me, a juggernaut DPS. Great system. Really spectacular.
  11. All the slicing nerf did was guarantee that I won't be spending credits on the AH. I have repair bills to pay and I'd rather not have to spend any more time farming pvp for credits to afford them.
  12. My guild suffered more deaths to this than to the bosses we killed. I'm 100% serious. We eventually got tired of random raid members dying and having to run back before the pull and called it a night. As funny as it is now, it's going to get old in a few days.
  13. Probably not, just in case they make it profitable again. Raiding is getting expensive and it's not like I'm leveling my crafting professions anyway.
  14. The only way to bring slicing "in line" with other professions was to make it useless. I'm curious to see how much less we make. At 50 with a dead economy and raids on the horizon, I depend on slicing for consumables and repairs. Good thing I stocked up back to 1 million credits before this happened.
  15. November 30th. I wasn't going to buy the game until I had some playtime in the beta to see if it was worth the deposit.
  16. Everyone should be in by Friday. Bioware knows what kind of a beast they're looking to awaken if people can't access the game on Saturday, and by beast I mean a flood of angry posts on the forums/twitter and canceled preorders.
  17. If you're going to play a new mmo, play within the first few months. If they're going to fizzle out, they'll have done it by the 6 month mark for sure. Just a heads-up.
  18. If you are trying to say that there will be no endgame competition amongst top-tier guilds, you're wrong.
  19. The servers are going to crash when they're under the most load, when they start letting more and more people in. The people that get in later spend most of their time waiting for the servers to come back up.
