  4. That would also be inaccurate as DP nim is pretty much the easiest of all the nim content atm. So from your constant mistakes this tells me you are not a NIM raider and are just sticking a worthless opinion in since you don't understand what you are talking about.
  5. Hmm never mind scratch that idea its a bit to technical for the plebs that you have left in Austin. Maybe you should start with something basic like an " IN GAME COMBAT LOG " so the noobs that your single player story line / mode attracts, can see how bad their dps is .. Its not like Ixale already did all the hard work for you already with Starparse ..Oh wait ..
  6. Anyway enough crying about loot .. when are they going to develop their game engine to support mutlicore cpu's and hyper threading so 16 man raids don't kill FPS ?
  7. This game engine is extremely old, it does not make use of modern day DirectX technologies in modern day GPU's. It does not even use all the cores of your CPU or use multi / hyper threading. The only way you will see a performance increase is to increase the clock speed of the CPU, an overclock around 4.2ghz should give you some noticeable performance increase. This is the only option you have with this CPU heavy single core engine.
  8. Well well, I hope you realise that EV and KP nim were both removed with 4.0 and there has never even been a TOS NIM despite us wanting one for the past 11 months since we cleared HM TOS back in Feb 2015. Random plebs posting random misinformed info .... priceless
  9. Its about time, it only took what 3-4 months of constant screaming to become heard. Thanks for at least trying to rectify the situation, now we can move onto screaming that shadows/sin & vanguard/PT tanks do not require 2000 - 3000 defense rating and are worse tanks than ever with your new stats allocation.
  10. The only down side to that method is you end up with slightly higher defense than you really want and have to sacrifice some shield to pick absorb. I don't know what they were thinking by making the only absorb enhancements in the game absorb / defense. I thought about both ways but in the end preferred mine as it allowed me to use all shield augs for vanguard. If I was to use all shield augs with new tier gear and then put all shield def enhancements to cap out shield I would get screwed as I have no place left to put any absorb once I cap out shield rating. I also really miss the old shield / absorb earpiece / implants .. again stupid that they took those away.
  11. Never had many issues with agro, as long as you have good apm and timing of taunts, besides there is stupid amounts of mastery on the tank relics now so its not like you dont have any to spare. HM / Nim content ofc
  12. I've still been using 198 absorb mods and I will continue to use them for as long as they are viable. You can get your endurance back from 220 com shield def enhancements and only sacrifice a small amount of shield rating dropping from 224 mitigation enh to 220 high endurance whilst maintaining a good absorb rating. For shadow using this I end up with 60% shield 52% absorb and 25% defense which was the old sweet spot back prior to 4.0 and average just over 80k hp Vanguard works out around 50% shield 45% absorb 18% defense with 80k+ hp using the same method Quite frankly unless your a guardian the 4.0 tank gear is all complete garbage, makes me think the dev responsible for revamping gear did not understand the difference between or how to gear defense based tanks and shield absorb based tanks So for me current BIS tank gear is 224 armoring / 198 (abs) mod / 220 heavy end (shield/def) enh When 224 nim enhancements start to drop from off pieces than you can replace the 220 enh with 224 medium end medium def enh and get a small amount of shield and def back with minimum endurance lost. Quite frankly they need to return absorb mods and shield/absorb enhancements back to the game its making tanks horrible.
  13. I discovered with my lvl 60 198 geared sniper that you are useless until you get lvl 61-62 otherwise everything is miss dodge miss resist etc. Interesting considering nim ev and kp were removed in 4.0 ..

  15. Wow that almost seems like you are confirming that Nightmare content should be dropping the highest tear of gear. And yet we are only going to have a "chance" to get 224 drops from NIM ops when somebody can be bothered to get round to fixing it :s
  16. What do you expect from a development team that is a large portion of SOE's old SWG team .. Austin SOE --- then suddenly Austin Bioware .. they simply moved their desks from one floor of a building to another. These guys have a history of tanking MMO games down the pan and are simply repeating that cycle.

Breakdown of how this can be caused If a healer is dpsing like they should be at the start then there is a small chance that healer will receive curse 1st, and if your all stacked behind boss like you should be and 1st shout / curse combo goes out any PT with half a brain will throw up sonic rebounders on the whole raid. The refelcted curse then triggers stupid threat values that can get into the billions, (this is why the boss often is pulled after 1st curse by a random dps) healer then gets every curse after this because his threat is billions higher than any of the dps. There is also some other issue with force cammo that if you cancel a cast of shout with force cammo the boss will then return to you once cammo is over and re-cast shout. It will then pretty much cast every shout after that on the mara / sent that originally camo'd it.

    Faceroll Healing

    Played a sage healer since launch, i have every class and can play every spec better than 95% of the plebs out there. And right now I can say with confidence that healing with my sage has never been easier, its even easier now than it was at launch. As long as you hit rejuvenate -> healing trance and rejuvenate -> wandering mend of cd you will get 3k+ hps every time in regs, you can fill the other globals with whatever the hell you like, deliverance, benevolence or bubble spam. It needs twice as much effort with a scun or oper to maintain hots and aoe's and pull these numbers and commando / merc has to play like 5x harder to get those healing numbers. Healing is not broken its just sorc / sage that needs a tone down as its skill requirement is extremely low right now.
  20. Not revealing any details but there is a combo of PVE hilt + some old unobtainable pvp gear which is giving the equivalent stats boost of what the old blue 46 hilts were doing in 2.0. This is only the <insert random number here> time this has happened, and its all because you introduced a new tier of PVE MH without adjusting bolster to match just so bads would have a chance at Revan HM ..

  22. Because they told us we would have extended downtime on Harb last maintenance period specifically to address this issue, and yet it is still around.
  23. Your maint period last week did not fix this bug whenever I swap to Harb from TOFN I click play on a Harb character and nothing happens, the only way to get round it is to create a new char or start the game from scratch so it auto logs into Harb

Its an old issue that has been around since guardians at Draxus with the purple slam cone, if you taunt right as it is about to initiate the cone, the animation of the cone moves to the tank that just taunted but the damage goes where it was originally intended too. It got the nick name of butt cleave. However this is all on the tank, a jug tank pounding on Derone is adding 1- 1.5k dps at best, he should not be doing this he should be in position ready to hit outlaws as soon as they spawn then he wont even need to taunt to get agro of them, PT tank is great for this as you can dps Derone from range whilst waiting on outlaw spawn position, Although you are right that it is a bug. It is a client server latency bug that bioware cannot do anything about In short bad tank class .. bad tank .. bad result .. lvl up

    Harbinger PVP

    The average player lvl over there atm is pretty turd but it will have alot to do with bads flocking in from pot5 and other servers on 90cc transfers, which has even lower standards and quality.
