I was expecting and counting on 10x's more problems to happen launch month. In reality, it has been quite smooth for a release. Why don't employees give more info....cause they don't have all the facts to give you. They have already stated they don't give ETA's cause people don't understand what the "e" in ETA stands for. And development plans can change on a second by second basis. So if they tell you something and it ends up not happening you'll be back here QQ'in. I mean do you even know what it's like to work!? Much less to work for a corporation. These people are not gonna endanger their job to give you useless info that won't benefit you. They don't need to inform you of any development plans. If something's in the works you'll see it when it's released like the rest of us. And if you are informed about anything be happy cause they don't need to do it at all. I don't really need to say much about the game to you, cause the release of a mmo and the future of it are pretty common sense. A MMO is something where a foundation is laid. After that the structure begins to be built over time.... You somehow expect something after 2 weeks of release lol, not to mention, I'm sure these people, just like the rest of us, get vacation and holiday time off. If you don't like it just leave and move on. Go get the attention you so deeply grave from your parents. There's a reason most techs are sealed out of sight... the more questions they have to answer the less time they get to do their work. If they stopped to answer all your questions nothing would get done, especially considering some questions require multiple departments. Just a little common sense.

I got a OCZ Vertex 3 60gb for os and vertex 3 120gb for current played games and standard 1tb seagate for all the games I have that I think I will revisit. Not sure about OCZ vertex 2 failures but the vertex 3 have gotten great reviews from people, as long as you have current firmware and SSD tweaks on OS. Anyone have any issues w/Vertex 3 drives?

Most ridiculous, uneducated post I have seen in a while. Just maybe, YOUR crashes were due to the fact you HAD a bad ssd. And swtor is very heavy on accessing your storage so it would be a game that test it. Games don't break your hardware my friend.

I'm lvl 37 Jedi Guardian, Dark III I'm a fan of the Jedi Luke look from RotJ. So I wanted darker choice of gear. Aside from dark side vendor, is there any other dark side gear like chest pieces? I though I would have more access to a sith wardrobe. The vendor really only has a pair of boots. And you can't wear any sith gear you create with synthweaving. Lack of options. Am I missing something or is there more to come? Thanks

Just dismiss them before you get in a conversation your gonna do something they don't like. If you hit "esc" in a conversation it takes you out and lets you start conversation over. No issues. Kinda funny, you'd think by know Kira would realize every time she returns from selling grey items someone is always dead lol.

I'm lvl 37 guardian. I really haven't seen issues. If you think you can jump mobs like your a pally in ICC...then yeah your gonna feel gimped. With CC and group coordination I have no issues. I have 9500hp right now and it goes down pretty slow and that's with no CDs present. Make sure you are sundering and using riptose whenever its off cd. Those should be spammed. The target I'm on, my dps can not pull from me. If you lose a add, save your taunt for that, don't use it to pick up the mob at start or your doing it wrong. But in all actuality those that wanna play like a WOW paladin and the people that think the tank is a WOW paladin, well those groups seem to have the most problems. I know...I used to play one lol. And people expect me to be like one in this game. The biggest issue I see is dps being completely void and clueless of the aspects and mechanics of the game. The trees are not set directions or they would be pointless. Even Bioware has stated this. Full defense tree and hybrid def/vig have been the most successful. If threat is your main issue time to take a peak at the wonderful Vig tree....hell, in vig tree you can get a focus free sweep! And don't forget your stims and the bonus from trinkets (artifacts i think <_<)

LOl so your going from a MMO to a single player MMO ...nice. Your opinion is now completely void Skyrim = awesome, but absolutely nothing new or innovative in that game. probably a bad example to use when talking about your swtor issues. Lets do fetch quests and kill the same AI dragon over and over again. Or do it similar in swtor except you have others to play with! And no one cares about others cancellations... Not a 100% of the people that play a game are gonna like it. Plus the more the people that don't find it to be their cup of tea or the QQ'ers leave the better the community here improves. I'm staying. I read info about the game since it was announced. I knew exactly what to expect. I really don't understand what others expected. Most people assume a selfish standpoint and assume their idea of what they want it what everyone wants. I cannot even begin to explain how excited I am to be here in the beginning...and its even more exciting to think about where the game and content will be in 1 -2 yrs. Nothing wrong with a tried and true formula with Bioware ingredients! (big mass effect fan.) If the games not for you just move along so there can be less QQ post. I would rather share my gaming joy and be constructive in the forums then these type of QQ posts. If your a hardcore person this may not be the place for you right now. Or in the future don't buy a MMO day 1. Wait a year for content and fixes. But to judge a game of this scope and size now is blatant ignorance. Now if it's just not your cup of tea , fine. This game is not designed for people like OP. Hardcore, whatever the term. This game is made for the most prominent group of customers ...the casual. Maybe your in the wrong MMO if your bored after a week, cause that's a sure sign. I find most Korean MMOs to have a hardcore base, maybe try one of them. Common sense and reading dev interviews will tell you they are focusing on fixes first but they still have some additional content before February as they have already announced. I don't see the point in a game if your gonna rush it. SWTOR has been advertised as a story based MMO since its conception. I think you missed the point of this game entirely. And it has so much compared to most new releases. If massive end content is what your looking for you may want to try a matured MMO. Cause right now the focus is on lvling as that is what most are doing. We're not gonna have to lvl another 50lvls with a expansion. So here on out, I'm sure a lot of focus will be end content. You must lay the foundation before you start building the structure. In my opinion, this MMO is not for you.

I'm sure you do take care of your healers considering the amount of damage you must take by tanking like it's WOW. Funny though, I have no issues and yet I don't have healers, I have heals/dps. But Yeah I guess you need full time heals.

You should probably go dps then or head back to WOW for their game mechanics.

OP makes one point, in my opinion, aside from how he posts it. I would really like to see more players around so if feels very alive. When WOW Cata came out it was awesome seeing so many in SW. You got on and it always felt alive, active. I want that feel in SWTOR. Hopefully a lot will be resolved once they see populations stabilize. And hopefully then they will get rid of some of the instances. Or perhaps the engine still needs tweaks so our PCs don't suffer or net code tweaks cause of possible latency or lag issues.

Are most of you that are QQ'ing 11yrs old!? Did you read the article? Do you understand it's purpose? Do you know how game development works? This article has nothing to do with bugs and support. It's a dev giving us heads up on some of the extra stuff they have planned. If you don't know what goes into a bug fix or hotfix or the time expectancy by now, this game may be to complicated for you. And if your so concerned about bugs then try playin the test server and submitting feedback on the current deployed fixes on there. Somehow I don't see them stopping progress on a game for your broken PC or join a lower pop server. Just a heads up...you don't represent the 99% lol Looking forward to it!!! I have AA on. Your a big kid, use google. I have a nvidia card and my friend has a amd card. If you have nvidia, you can use a program called nvidia inspector, there are aslo other methods. Google is your friend. Bioware said they were trying to officially put it in before launch, guess they didn't but it will be there. I could careless as it a 1 time setting for me.
