  1. Why would you want to be policed? Why would we want CS playing Judge Judy when they could be handling real issues, rather than guild drama. No one cares who stole this an that, who said what, whos fault.... warn others and move on. "Not every situation can be treated as black and white."... exactly! And thats why they won't even touch IT! Handle your drama or kill it.
  2. It won't help.... cause they're not related. Lag/ability delay is a server side issue. Adding better textures, lighting, shadows, etc will have no effect on the ability delay issue. If it's graphics related your FPS will drop and motion will be choppy, not delayed, If graphics are to much then slide them down. And many of us do enjoy the graphics upgrade as we get new pc hardware. And that is why we are PC gamers. Our games can scale over time. A graphics update doesn't affect you, cause you would need to turn it on in your settings. All you've gained is more for the future and for some of us the present. One of the biggest forums post I've seen here was about the graphics, in the first months of release, about the low rez character textures in game vs cut scenes... they couldn't ignore it and so they added a few new graphic options. For a mmo where you live with your characters people over time do find their graphics very important for a lasting appeal.
  3. Maybe you need to read his post again. And then develop a mmo and tell me how easy it is to just "throw in" the 100s of ideas that every player thinks is a priority for the game, then you will really have your answer. It takes years of training and school to do tons of what they do... How could he explain all that to you in a simple post and not only that you probably wouldn't understand much of the real details if you don't do the same thing for a living!? I don't go around pretending how to do jobs I've never done. They have always stated testing is limited and players, as there a a lot more players then testers, tend to find and discover things Bioware never would have with their man power. And this must be your first mmo. Cause almost everyone I've played has a history of same issues. A mmo is a game in constant development.
  4. Don't care what your talking about. Mine was in reference to earlier post about sub paying for race
  5. Yes that's why I clarified sub based as the original arguments were about subs paying. Try reading the whole post first.
  6. Race change in WOW is $25, it's not free in Tera either. Most sub mmos make u pay. Swtor is being nice. They give u free coins to get it for free and u get a discount! Aside from spoiled entitled brats what is not to get!?
  7. Not a sub based mmo. Completely 2 different business models, therefore income comes from other places.
  8. On your point 1 you act as if you are entitled to everything in the cartel market for free. If you did save and get the upcoming 2.1 features then you would have paid for your current items, but you got them for FREE. It's a benefit for subs but your sub doesn't pay for it, they are giving you back part of your sub in cartel coins which others pay for. How about they just not give coins to us subs and simply leave it fair for all. And what sub mmos give you free character/race changes for free all the time. Bioware is at least giving me a discount compared to everyone else. This game is f2p now, deal with what goes along with that. Your sub gives you access to all end game content including HK that others must buy. My sub goes to the end game content and server uptime. My sub does not go to making my character look pretty (even though I do get to match gear color with sub for free which others have to buy). That's what the cartel market is for. Be happy they give u any coins. And what do you not get about this being a cartel race. It's extra, you don't need it, u just want it, therefore you want it for free. But it's not, they told u why and a head of time. Now u wanna kick and stop your feet cause you didn't get something and missed what u do have.... Free cash given back every month in the shape of cartel coins. You spent yours on stuff other people didn't get for free.
  9. Remember if its on the Internet it must be true Lolol
  10. Apparently most people are flat out to stupid to understand what he said. Cartel market = cash. Sub + free monthly cartel means Bioware is giving you money back in the shape of cartel coins. Bioware has already given you coins to get this for free with your sub. If you spend them else where that's your problem, otherwise what you did buy you'd be paying for....so you got those items for free!. I sub and bioware gives me money back every month in the shape of cartel coins. And I will get discounts on most things other big mmos charge for and don't give players discounts. redoing my character and race have not been free in most big mmos on the market. Sorry Eric most people don't understand which way is up and can't add together what your trying to explain. If I go back to Aion, Tera, WOW, I will pay, with no discount, for changing race or redoing character customization. You are actually giving me real money back in the form of cartel coins every month, thank you. You've been very fair. I think people forget that gaming is a Entertainment BUSINESS.
  11. LMFAO! lol No I guess it was more relevant to this specific thread.
  12. "They pay for their game (and if you are posting you are paying) so they should be able to play their way." That statement is incorrect. You are playing within a frame that the developer made. It was advertised, described and reviewed. this attitude is why there are problems. Its not your game. Just cause you rent a house doesn't mean you can tear it down and rebuild it. You can make small additions w/permission/feedback. You are a sub. You are renting their servers and what they designed the game to be. If you don't like it, you move along to find your niche in another game.
  13. WOW, unbelievable reading this thread. Gamers are dead lol. A quest has a challenge that make you go out of your comfort zone and play all the aspects of the game PvP & PvE.... oh the agony of it all! If you don't like it go play farmville then!..This is a game. Its supposed to have a challenge. Don't whine like a little kid cause its not handed to you. Unbelievable how many wanna-be gamers there are! I'm all into PvE but the PvE people are the biggest whiners! It forces the PvP people to do a HM FP and I barely hear them complaining. So sorry if PvP is more difficult...welcome to gaming...where there's obstacles to overcome.
  14. I think I know what your talking about. I have a Nvidia GTX 680 with same issue where when looking around it would just jump as if i lost frames. I had vsync on in my Nvidia control panel for swtor, I think mine may have been set to adaptive. First try turning vsync off in in swtor nvidia control panel and in the in-game one also to see if that resolves it for you.
  15. This is my average also. I'm hybrid tank. I have a mix of DPS Champ gear and tank gear. Def and shield are almost useless in PVP. The loss of 800HP is min compared to what I gain in half dps/tank gear and def/vig tree. Plus I get a heal everytime I leap w/bonus on dps PVP gear and a damage boost. With hybrid you get more in protection and higher damage output w/a little more utility. I can last longer then a straight up def build. This will all change in 1.2 though. I am at least always getting medals for 2.5k, 5k damage in single strike. I stick to my healer 24/7. AWE is a awesome tool, this can save you and your healer when being ganged up on. I am constantly getting compliments from healers saying how awesome it is having a guard babysiting them. I still wish the HP gap for guards was a little larger compared to other classes. I'm lvl 50 at 59 valor, almost always 1st place in medals. Ive been able to hit 200k protection many times, of course this all depends on who your fighting and healer.
