  1. Great post - I've been longing for a game to give me the old feelings of UO, EQ, or AC, but they are so few and far between. The last one I remember getting really addicted to was Darkfall at release.
  2. Yeah, on raid nights in my clan we will easily have 15-20+ level 50 people online. Right now, on a non-raid night, we had two people online. Me being one of them and I just logged off.
  3. Yikes - I'm still only level 44 due to limited playtime, but this is none-the-less very discouraging to hear. I guess I should not be surprised that there are a lot of bugs at higher levels, since that would be the least tested content during beta phases, but damn... there is just so much work that needs to be done on this game and your list just adds to it.
  4. This. I was very excited when I heard SW:TOR actually had a PvP lead, and a team dedicated to creating PvP content. Then when I actually got in game and saw it was the same watered down, been-there done-that type of content, I was thoroughly disappointed. Even the daily quests are the same unimaginative dribble.
  5. Right, but his statement was that they learned lessons from other MMOs and then refined them. You're telling me that they didn't learn that people want dungeon finders, customizeable UIs, and the ability to select warzones? They clearly didn't learn the lessons, ignored the lessons, or don't have the resources to implement them.
  6. I found this hilarious. Not like other companies have done UI customization, dungeon finders, the ability to select which warzone you want to join, anti-aliasing, combat logs, etc, etc, etc.
  7. Holy ****, I've noticed this as well, but thought it was just my imagination. It usually happens to be with abilities that have a 60s cooldown.. it appears like I should be able to click it, but when I do nothing happens. Really, really frustrating!
  8. Hyperbole on an MMO forum? Blasphemy!
  9. Wow, yeah, only one high server at 6:00 CST. I'm guessing (hoping?) that this is because they kept raising the server populations.
  10. NUTS! I mean, I agree. The amount of running that is required to get from planet to planet is a little bit much. I remember on my class quest after finishing a planet (I think it was Taris) I got told to go to my Intercom... the quest then went like this. Taris >> Intercom >> Dromond Kass >> Intercom >> Dromond Kass >> Intercom >> Korribon >> Intercom Each time I went to a new destination I only had to talk to one NPC and then proceed to the next destination. The amount of running that was required was absurd.
  11. Personally, I am 25, and have been playing MMOs since I was 12. When World of Warcraft came out and I was 17 or 18 I got my Dad (who is now 62) to start playing them. He has been a big fan of WoW, Rift, and now SW:TOR.
  12. Crafted items being made obsolete from dropped gear seems to be a very common problem in MMOs. The most recent example I can think of is Rift - absolutely no point to using most crated armor/weapons, unless you do not like to do dungeons/raids.
