  1. Play through the entire story before you comment on it. The IA has arguably the most interesting story, and you're missing out if you don't play it.
  2. Is it strange that I log in for the first time since they changed to the new forum format and am shocked to see that this thread is still going? Just . . . wow . . .
  3. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kyle_Katarn
  4. ^ pretty much this. Can't work with you if we don't have more info
  5. In a way, we're all learning English, as it is an ever-evolving cesspool of a language. Back on topic. The age restriction is there for a reason. It is to protect the older guild members from potential legal ramifications. In my guild, we do discuss topics that are considered inappropriate for people under the age of 18, in vent and in guild chat, especially when we all get drunk and play. Make no mistake, it's not to protect you. It's to protect us.
  6. Kessel, so I can take my ship droid to visit the spice mines . . . .
  7. This is the wrong place for stuff like this, Mr. Armchair Game Developer.
  8. Why do I dislike Revan? Well, I don't dislike him, exactly, I just wasn't a fan of having to go around and clean up his mess as Meetra Surik. And, of course, that whole bit with the Revan book. That was kinda a slap in the face for me and anyone else who are fans of The Exile.
  9. That's a good question. Though I think you'll be fine. There's a Heroic 4 daily quest that gives you an orange weapon for your companion of choice once you hit the higher up levels.
  10. Until I get something other than "an EA developer said _____" it ain't worth paying attention to. That bit has no source cited. For all we know it's some stupid intern who only plays Madden.
  11. An LFG tool and faction wide chat. Vette to realize that my Sith Marauder is more than just an older sister to her . . .
  12. and you're whining about him whining about people whining aw crap, now I'm whining . . .
  13. For the heroic adventurer on the move, having a static place of residence is impractical. You have to pay someone to keep an eye on it while you're off for months, even years at a time, gallivanting across the galaxy, else you run the risk of something going wrong, like your gas leaking and causing a cataclysmic explosion. You also need to pay someone to tend the lawn, else the HOA will be on your case about lowering their property value. In a nutshell, home ownership is a pain when you're not living there 90% of the time. That is why one's ship is as much a home as it is a way to get around.
  14. All of this stuff has been in the patch notes on the PTS for a while now. It's a little late in the game to be whining about something you don't need to participate in.
  15. I don't think I'd want a life sized Satele Shan figure. Vette, on the other hand . . .
  16. Actually, I consider my server to be my community, but, then, I'm just awesome like that, I suppose.
  17. Quesh. I forgot why I even went there . . .
  18. It was in the patch note for 1.1.5 that the geologists would be disappearing in 1.2.
  19. To be honest, I haven't noticed this. Maybe I just don't care enough.
  20. Well, for DPSers and not having a DPS meter, I can provide a simple flow chart. Do I play DPS? ------- NO --------> Don't worry about it | | YES | | \/ Is my target dead? ----- NO --------> You need more DPS | | YES | | \/ Am I dead? ------- NO -------> Don't worry about it | | YES | | \/ You need more DPS If you like, I can do one for raid bosses.
  21. The problem I see is that by your description, the current state of targetting is completely gamebreaking and that the only thing that will save it is mouse over macros. I can understand if you just can't live without them, but the casual player who just wants to enjoy the game doesn't really care, and would prefer additional content and fixes to all the crap that's bugged. The point is, there are things that are a far higher priority than little macros.
  22. Nah, I get it. I'm just playing Devil's advocate and trying to get you riled up. It's just one of the ways I keep myself amused while I'm at work and can't play. The other services I offer are sarcasm, snark, and polite condescension. On another note, Bioware can do whatever the hell they want, and whether or not you think it makes sense is irrelevant.
