  1. Had the exact opposite result the one time that I tried it; didn't have problems with enrages or anything like that, it just.. didn't flow very well. I would also never try this spec in PvP unless I was designated in a premade to stay alive as long as I could to defend a node. That's about it. I will concede that I may not be playing it optimally, but I have no desire to really learn it, either. I made this character to kick balls and punch faces. If I wanted to shoot crap I'd have just made a slinger or a trooper.
  2. Rather play a tree that makes sense, not one that has an identity crisis. I've tried dirty fighting, works for slingers. Clunky mess for Scoundrels.
  3. I'm really more interested inthe sustained damage part. I'm only Valor rank 54 anyway since I just pvp on the side, so the PvE side of the ball is what most effects my gameplay. Hope that part isn't overly savage.
  4. Ha, someone gonna get flashbanged/XS'd into another opener then. Gonna be hilarious.
  5. It's bad. Horrible. Just go sawbones we're done. I dont know, really, since I'm at work, but I'm going to assume that most of the responses will be like the above.
  6. Nice vid would watch again 10/10
  7. Ticks of damage just like orbital strike. x amt over x seconds
  8. Try using Corso instead. Probably get more out of him staying alive than you will catching crappy heals from that robot. To be clear, Corso can live alot longer than you can. CC Elites, kill trash around elites, initiatate combat with the Elite with Corso and just beat the hell out of it as long as you can; you can use dirty kick to buy Corso enough time to.. live, or you can heal him. He'll be DPSing the mob too, so it'll die faster. Good times.
  9. You can sometimes get a backblast off, but it really isn't worth mentioning since its no unreliable. Usually only during their channeled abilities. I do this fight every week with zero problems. Hell, sometimes I kill two.
  10. Stand behind mob. Cast Flyby. Cast Stealth. Cast Shoot First. Victory?
  11. Yeah... bad scoundrels are bad at this. Facerolling your mob on that is very easy. Just drop a Freighter Flyby before you shoot first. Does work.
  12. Gunslingers are brought for dps and your damage reduction bubble. Mostly your damage reduction bubble. And because there are only 3 ranged dps classes in the game.
  13. What do you mean by everything else, exactly.. vital shot? Manage your energy and you won't have energy problems. Recover with cool head if you drop off into the 'bad zone', i mean cmon outside of the opener it don't happen often.
  14. The Gunslinger version is much more fluid and functional compared to the Scoundrel version. Dirty Fighting for a Scoundrel is very confused. Besides Wounding Shots doing pretty good damage, I don't see how any scoundrel can even play this mess of a spec.
  15. You don't need 100% accuracy. I want to drop all my fkn accuracy because it seems to do nothing. I went from 101% to 95% and I still don't miss in PvE. Stat seems pointless.
  16. You are entitled to your opinion, but killing council as scrapper is not hard and scrapper dps is not bad. You have XS Freighter you can drop before you open, helps alot. You can also occasionally backblast, depending on which mob is yours.
  17. I get invited and receive compliments on my dps as a scrapper. If the tank doesn't guard me, I yell at him until he does.
  18. Sounds like you want to make a Commando to me. You can go pure healer, have a damage shield that makes your casts uninterruptable, a knockback, and heavy armor. You can also hybridize your spec to actually dps from range with grav rounds, whereas you get what.. sucker punch for a Scoundrel? That places your medium armored bootyhole into melee range? No thanks, man. Sure, you are more mobile as a Scoundrel, but in a game where CC, charges, and sprints are rampant when you have those... Just make a Commando and don't look back, they're so awesome.
  19. The sabo charge bomb only works on trash to generate the DoT, though, sadly. So it's really only two DoTs.
  20. So basically, you want a Disappearing Act everytime you go into cover with an Upper Hand? A short, melee range sprint that would more or less not act as a gap closer at all, 3% less damage for (semi) heavy armor, and removal of our stun on the opener? We don't even know if it'll whitebar someone totally yet with the 1.5s stun. I'm not going to say that I think 1.5 is very good, or that the nerf is really even warrented, but since their test realm is trash we'll just have to wait and see on this one. If you want more survivability you should probably just go sawbones and start asking for guard. This class isn't made to withstand punishment. Stopping Power is a good talent for pvp. It ignores resolve, so after you've whitebarred someone with K.O., you can just root them afterwards to keep more dps uptime. Then they start to crawl off while you beat them in the back of the head. No, stopping power stays because it's really not bad. Most of what you're asking for won't happen simply because they are not good ideas. edit to be a less rude. SOrry.
  21. Pretty much, man. I AM LOSING DAMAGE SO I'D... BETTER MAKE SURE I LOSE MORE DAMAGE TO COUNTER THIS LOSS OF DAMAGE. You'll still want Flechette.
  22. For... what? PvP, PvE? It'll still be better for raids than SRMP will if you're dps.
