didn't even bother to read. nobody cares, pvp sucks and always has in this game. I hate pvp with a passion but I'm not dumb. since bioware made PvP the best way to earn cxp and get geared...well..now you have a bunch of people that hate being there but dont want to spend 15 minutes doing a pve quest that only gives you 70 cxp vs 1500-4000 cxp for 10 minute warzone. blame obama

After reading Keith's Producer Letter, I'm excited to see this change. This change is A Good Thing and well overdue. I won't say anything about the "last producer" - I've forgotten his name already. When upper management uses the line "Thanks, but we'll take it from here" or " moved on to a great new opportunity " - it means they sucked at their job and they were dumped. It's the unspoken truth, I've seen it 100s of times at work. and yeah...he did suck at his job - as evident by the terrible state of the game right now. And yeah, they will have to do a major direction change + additional $$$ for development to fix this mess. Changing a producer won't be enough....but it's a step in the right direction.

Suggestions for making 5.0 fun again for a Solo/Story Player
Terrimando replied to Zytl's topic in Suggestion Box
Fair points. the CXP gains from these since they are only 70 cxp per quest + the RNG of crates doesnt' incentivize people to play them. The legacy grind for cosmetic items would be worth it if find something you like though. -

Suggestions for making 5.0 fun again for a Solo/Story Player
Terrimando replied to Zytl's topic in Suggestion Box
As a solo player, I found myself today wondering what there is to do after I completed the class story for all 8 classes. There isn't much to do for a solo player in this game at 70. As stated above, your choices are heroics, solo flashpoints and dailies. But there are only a couple of dailies and solo flashpoints that you can do. or you can repeat the kotet/kotfe chapters (for me, once was enough). I guess I'm old school RPG and expect to have a path to improving my character and being rewarded for my time and effort. I just don't think there is enough content nor enough reward for my game time after doing the class/story arcs for the planets. -
From my experience, posting on the game forums has limited to no impact on how the game developers design their game. Many times the game developers don't even have a choice - they may be restricted by resources (time, money, staff) and can't do anything if they wanted to. Unsubbing from a game that makes you mad/don't enjoy is your only real personal choice. But don't expect that your one subscription is going to make any difference

do you really think "nerf" a class is the right answer. I dont' think it ever is...why not bring up the classes rather than being negative with nerfs. nobody likes nerfs. nobody likes havign to grind to GC 300+ and then have that class "nerfed" truly think about what you are asking for and if it's a good user experience that will keep players playing the game.

yes, it's been since patch 5.0 + testing so at least 5-6 months that Bioware has been aware of the issue with pt and sorc dps. still no fixes. and no plans on balancing in the near future. so either unsubscribe or reroll to merc/mando is your only options to be honest. I know. it sucks. It shouldn't have be this way. however unsubscribing they really won't know exactly why people are quitting - but should be pretty obvious - galactic command system, content - not enough new content and not soon enough, class balance. I know the game is on life support at this point - they clearly only invest in a couple of developers and some graphic people who just add new colors to existing items and put it on cartel market. Honestly, if they aren't going to be fully behind this game, they should just shut it down instead of letting it live a long and painful death.

Merc equivalent of a lightsaber?
Terrimando replied to Andy_The_Lolface's topic in Commando / Mercenary
I just created a new merc and they sent the gun in the mail - I guess that was their temporary fix until the mission reward is fixed. -
? to when merc/mandos do get the much needed nerfs
Terrimando replied to falkron-kerupt's topic in Commando / Mercenary
I think you are spot on. 1) people have figured out how to play against a merc 2) pt and sorc dps need help. /done no need for a nerf. -

Terrimando replied to falkron-kerupt's topic in Commando / Mercenary
A better way instead of nerfing is to bring the other classes on par. With the Galactic Rank grind - nobody is going to grind up a new FOTM again. When/if they nerf a class, I suspect subscription rates will drop even more. -
Plenty of games just have 8 main abilities + weapon swapping to add more. It is more than enough. I don't see why you need more than just 8 at a time. MMOs have changed over the years, SWTOR hasn't kept up.

Bad players or players who like to insult others in ranked pvp.
Terrimando replied to nicklas_k's topic in PvP
solo ranked pvp pug matchmakeing is a horrid idea. if you want competitive pvp, then do like WoW and have arenas - no pugs/no randoms/ no solo players. of course nobody will play ranked pvp like arenas cuz pvp sucks . honestly, just get rid of pvp already in swtor and move on. -
This looks great. thank you for this enhancement.

That's a fair point. Most other companies do minor tweaks - sometimes within days of a patch. This game...I've seen it gone two years. so I guess moral of this story is roll a arsenal merc , engineer sniper, or healer sorceror.
