  1. Thanks for the support, I did end my subscription. Likewise, wish you the best with your time in SWTOR.
  2. I am with you on the gambling aspect, it is really a poorly thought out idea. For example player A gets 6 distinct set pieces in 20 command ranks of GC playing easier solo content. Player B plays 2-3 times more than Player A doing harder content, and Player B has receives 2 of the same set pieces in 50 ranks of GC. It has been said already, but this system eliminates the higher risk and effort = higher reward system, and replaces it with higher time and more luck = higher reward system. For me I have a character that is only half way through command rank 6 and already has two set bonus pieces. I have seen numerous posts of people going far higher into the GC ranks and only netting one set bonus piece. I should not receive a higher reward for barely playing a character than someone who is trying very hard to get the same result. Defeating more difficult content should net you more tokens or currency that you can use to gear your character, and it should be the same number of tokens or currency for me as everyone else. This is pretty much a staple in any RPG or MMO from my perspective, and I am not seeing the value Bioware does in deviating from it.
  3. I first started playing SWTOR with KOTFE (somewhere around 4.0 or 4.1) last year, and am primarily a solo casual player. I enjoyed leveling up different class stories and playing them through KOTFE. I enjoyed a small amount of grinding of heroics to gear up my characters in mostly 208 gear I crafted myself. I enjoyed taking those characters through the Eternal Championship as a bonus challenge once I got them all crafted 208 gear. I am not really interested in Operations or BIS slot gear. I search the forums, reddit, and dulfy's site fairly regularly for information, but i have never posted to any of them (before now). I only mention any of this in case I am the target audience for the changes in 5.0. The 5.0 release killed the fun i was having in this game. The galactic command system is rage inducing at best, and its shortcomings have already been laid out in this sub forum. The veteran mode for the story does not feel tuned properly and lacks the fun that I had with the Eternal Championship. The combination of both killed any desire on my part for replaying content, especially with alts. Before I unsub here shortly, I just wanted to provide a list of suggestions that would make this game fun for a casual solo/story based player like myself: Make the command crates and galactic command bind to legacy, and make the crates stackable Add three tier vendors who will treat the command crates as currency for gear (those who love RNG can still open them on any character they choose, but those who just want to plan out their time and gear up can do so) Have the command crates drop from beating content along side with the current leveling (for instance, veteran chapter drops a tier 1 command crate, veteran operations = tier 2 crates, master operations = tier 3, etc.) Tune the veteran story chapters so they play like veteran flashpoints (solo fighting like 2 elites, 2 silvers, and 3 trash mobs at once in a veteran flashpoint is far more fun than getting one rounded by 3 trash mobs doing insane damage in a veteran chapter) Replace current sub awards with a sub reward token, and create a vendor that accepts sub tokens for both past and future sub rewards (add other items like cartel certificates and reputation items to this vendor as well) I thoroughly enjoyed the class stories. It was hard to get as immersed into KOTFE with all the companion recruitment, but the story in KOTET was more immersive and enjoyable for me than KOTFE. Thanks for the solid year(+) of fun I have had playing your game, and I hope you reconsider your position with some of the changes that were made in 5.0.
