  1. I didn't see it on my server yet, but I'll report that admin as a spammer and put him on ignore.
  2. http://www.swtor.com/blog/community-qa-june-1st-2012 Anti x-server LFG crowd can relax now. BW simply doesn't know how to make things x-server.
  3. It isn't statement from Microsoft. If you look at the beginning of the article, you will see the following Microsoft disclaimer: "The articles set out below are articles created and/or produced by Future Publishing Limited. Microsoft is not responsible for the content, accuracy or opinions expressed in these articles."
  4. They don't know how to do x-server, hence they trying to hide behind "protecting community" nonsense
  5. Bioware simply has no enough expertize to develop x-server tech. It is too much to ask from them. Follows the same pattern as no x-server GTN, no x-server global chat channels, no x-server PvP queues
  6. Where exactly this article says that Rift uses Hero Engine?
  7. Ugh... There is such huge disconnect between flying text and combat log, probably due to BW doing roll-up (adding damage to the same flying number). I'd rather to see distinct numbers for distinct damage ticks.
  8. It will be also very interesting to sync cobat log to this video. Numbers that were flying around don't match with resulting HP on the target.
  9. It usually happens to me if I logged in while being infected. Zonning out of fleet and back again (going to ship and back) worked for me to get around this bug.
  10. If you have 2 quests ( class and companion ) requiring to go to Nar Shaddaa, only one will be triggered (class). I'd recommend to travel to some other planet and back to Nar Shaddaa again.
  11. There are few areas that are very different in SWTOR and CoH: CoH isn't gear based game, the build is based on choosing and enhancing particular abilities. SWTOR's gear system makes older gear obsolete. In CoH, on other hand, the low level enhancements in many cases are more preferable than high level (due to better set bonuses) and don't lose their relevance at higher level. Only BoP items in CoH are proxy currencies (reward/alignment/vanguard/etc. merits) and incarnate mats. You can buy and sell everything else on the market. In CoH, the main reward for completion of FlashPoint (TaskForce) or Ops (Raid/Trial) is proxy currency (merits) that can be used to purchase enhancements of your choice directly or perform random rolls. In SWTOR, on other hand, particular gear drop tied to particular FP. For example, If I got my chest peace from FE, I no longer have any incentive to run FE ever again on the same toon. Besides the fun factor, there is no such disincentive in CoH. You can run the same TF multiple times and get the same number of merits on each run (diminishing returns apply if repeated in 18 hours window though) TL;DR: There is no incentive to run lower level FP/Quests with current drop/reward system in SWTOR
  12. This fight isn't more difficult than Darth Zash fight. You should be using the same tactics anyway: DOTs, kiting and break of LoS as an interrupt. I had no problem doing it on sorc with Talos as compnaion.
  13. I don't know about WoW, never played it. CoH allows in-combat rezzes without any restrictions either through self-rez skills and/or inspirations or by someone's else rez skills. Some classes even have AoE rez that requires an enemy to be in the range. I guess SWTOR needed to use rez debuff to counter its primitive, narrow and shallow combat mechanics.
  14. It is on VIP vendor - 1.5M Speeder (Edit: It is the only thing VIP vendor sells at the moment) Don't know about CE vendor though.
  15. - Make market cross-server and cross-faction. - Allow to bid for items currently not on the sale. - Show best bid/offer and last sale price for the item.
  16. Had it happened to me 5-6 times as well. I'm usually trying to press right and left mouse buttons simultaneously to exit this state. It doesn't always help though.
  17. It never worked for me, even for a second
  18. Great guide. I have one question though. How does "Follow" work? Shouldn't character autorun to the target when "F" pressed? Pressing "F" doesn't do anything for me. Thanks
