  1. It prevents you from completing the quest. The bonus part is finished easily, especially after going back in to see if they fixed the bug. I'm very disappointed that they didn't fix it with today's maintenance.
  2. I'm having the same problem. Hopefully they'll fix it with the next patch.
  3. I'm having the same issue. Hopefully they'll get it fixed soon.
  4. I'm down in Colorado Springs, but I'm still playing!
  5. When I replied to the OP, the thread was only three months old. That's not necro. Sorry I didn't reply earlier, I didn't get a notification. I found the thread (just like I did this time) by using a search engine.
  6. Just in case a search engine brings you here, this is what you need to do: Like Talmino says, you're looking for the Alsakan Overlook. The coordinates are around 1617,1500. There is a republic quest (A Historic Endeavor) given by Maelrich Alde at 1379,1252. You don't need the quest to get to the top, however. Follow the path to the top of the mountain. This will take you up to the Mount Tessef Ruins. When you get to the top, you'll see a basin to the south. That's where you need to go. Get near the 1617 axis and jump down.
  7. The above posters are correct that it is the southern tip of The Juran Mountains. However, I need to correct GoldenCircle's coordinates. There's an ongoing map bug going back to the launch of SWTOR. When you open the map and look at the Player (X,Y) coordinates, you're actually seeing X,Z instead. If you move slightly or do a jump, the map will then show the correct X,Y coordinates. You can also hover your mouse over the minimap for the correct coordinates. In any case, the correct coordinates are around 1617,1500 at the Alsakan Overlook. There is a republic quest (A Historic Endeavor) given by Maelrich Alde at 1379,1252. Follow the path to the top of the mountain. This will take you up to the Mount Tessef Ruins. When you get to the top, you'll see a basin to the south. That's where you need to go. 8. Hello fellow Colorado residents! Here's another checking in from Colorado Springs. I mostly play on the Begeren Colony server.
  9. Guild: Called to the Light Guildmaster: Alerron Officers: Kahiel, Akando Faction: Republic Focus (PvE/PvP/RP): Mostly PvE currently. Hoping to PvP as we rebuild. Tidbit: We have a Guild Bank and use TeamSpeak 3. We're a Christian guild and part of a multi-game community known as the Tribe of Judah (ToJ). Our forums are hosted by the Christian Gamers Alliance. To be a member of the guild, you have to join ToJ here.
  10. Ack! I didn't noticed this thread earlier...lol. I'm 52 and, like many others, an IT professional. I live in Colorado with my wife and two adult "kids." I own my own IT business and will have the game open, usually crafting, while I'm working on a computer or doing some paperwork. I've been MMO gaming since 2007 or so, so I guess I'm still a n00b. I started with Guild Wars, moved to Aion, tried WoW and Rift, then finally SWTOR. Computers for me go back to a TRS-80 and a Tandy 1000 that I got in 1983. I was 17 when the original Star Wars came out. I saw it 11 times, half of that in a drive in. My 24 year-old daughter also plays at times, although most of her gaming is spent in Guild Wars 2 lately. I mostly play on Begeren Colony, pub side. I have three Republic 50's on BC and one Imp 50 on Harbinger I also have some orphan Imp toons on Bastion. I'm hoping to consolidate some to Begeren whenever transfers open up again.
  11. Thanks Allison. And like guiltless says, pay no mind to the "miserable creatures offering slander." After all, they're mostly prepubescent adolescents. The remainder are young males with underdeveloped prefrontal cortexes -- prone to lack of judgement and to whining and complaining about the smallest things (in other words, the perfect Sith). The world would be a better place if such males were unable to obtain drivers licenses, buy a gun or vote until age 26 when the male prefrontal cortex is usually fully developed.
  12. They probably all have the day off and the one person on duty is playing Angry Birds. lol
  13. I can't log into BC, Bastion or Harbinger. Getting the same error with all. I have no problems logging into any of the East Coast servers but I have no toons on them. Hope it gets fixed soon but I wouldn't be surprised if they're on light staffing today (and tomorrow).
  14. I get this error when I click on the link: http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/1305/enginerror.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  15. It depends on your guild, at least on the Republic side. My guild does no role-playing. I've seen it at times on Tython. I see very little role-playing on planet/fleet chat. Welcome to the server, though!
  16. I agree. Darkish font on a dark background don't work well together.
  17. I'm kind of late to this tread but there is an active guild on Begeren Colony named Called to the Light. It's part of the Tribe of Judah gaming community, which is part of the Christian Gamers Alliance
  18. I can tell you one to avoid: Vrook Lamar (PvE/RP West). Last night, Alderaan had six people online on the Republic side. I regret doing a six month subscription. If I had a monthly, I probably would have unsubbed last month and waited until server mergers occurred. Instead, I'm probably going to re-roll and start over somewhere else.
  19. I hope they have a method of reversing the illegit credits and punishing the most egregious abusers. *edit: Allison posted while I was writing my post. Thanks for looking into this.
  20. I wish the queue times were more accurate. I'm on my particular server because it's where my guild was placed. Tonight, it said it was about a 35 minute wait with 550 ahead of me. It has been 45 minutes and there are still 200 ahead of me. It will probably be much worse when the game officially launches. Best Buy has shipped my game, so it should be here prior to launch, but I may hold off inputting the code until queue times improve.
