  1. No game can last forever. Sounds like you enjoyed the time you played. WoW's new expansion is coming out in a few months, you can check that out. Also there is a world event going in in SWTOR soon so you might wanna stick around another few days before you go. TOR will release more content over time and you can come back, thats the beauty of MMO's.
  2. Ah I see the confusion here, MMO stand for MASSIVE Multiplayer Online Game. Glad I could clear up OP's confusion. /thread Ok so assuming OP already knew that. This would be like me getting on a Mass Effect forum and complaining there are not enough other players to play with (It's a single player game). In an MMO massive amounts of people are part of the challenge and fun. Someone gank your quest item before you could grab it? Ask to join them, or get to the second item faster than them. In the end it is not productive to get on a MASSIVE Multiplayer Online Game's forum and complain about the massive amounts of people.
  3. I transferred and still play. Just hate how shady this was. They locked my post without even replying. They have nothing to say. What they did was wrong and they know it.
  4. A lie of omission is a lie. You made it seem like server transfers were just that "Transfers". Instead they were forced server merges. The fact is the game needed it, but why do it in such a backhanded way? Why ask people to move, then later force them? Why not just be honest and say you are merging servers? The way you did this was extremely shady. Again the mergers were needed but just be honest about it. Shame on you Bioware. Link to their plans: http://www.swtor.com/blog/character-...nd-you-part-ii
  5. This isn't about the transfer, its about how Bioware handled it. Although I bet they would love to hide this in a long obscure thread where no one could read it.

Before this is locked and forwarded to the "Character Transfer" section, this is not a character transfer post. This is a post about the shady backhanded way you did this. Many people don't even know you are doing this yet. It was posted to Twitter and not Facebook. Your Twitter has 200k followers and Facebook has 2Million, maybe this is why? Shame on you Bioware. 7. Here it is: http://www.swtor.com/blog/character-transfer-server-populations-and-you-part-ii They lied to us, it is a server merger not transfer. They are forcing you off... Sorry....

  9. This wasn't in World of Warcraft so why would it be in SWTOR? This is an exact copy with light sabers after all. How about some original ideas and content Bioware...
  10. Too many times have I seen Columi gear that a companion desperately needs get disassembled. "Need" implies you actually need that item for your immediate toon to improve yourself. Greed implies you want to sell the item. Alot of people now just hit disassemble and get a green crafting item. This game has companions that are needed to effectively quest and advance yourself. There should be a Companion button added to the mix. It would go Need > Companion > Greed/Disassemble. If a person and their companions are fully geared they would probably not mind giving you an item your companion could use. If they have a problem they could always hit companion too and take the item. But they could also need an item they should have selected greed on. My point is give people an opportunity to help their fellow players.
  11. So your gaming computer plays games well? lol...
  12. Unfortunately complaining is the best way to get the game fixed. If everyone came here saying it was perfect nothing would get done and no money would be invested in fixing it. Small bugs are ok for a new game, but there are glitches in SWTOR that make this game unplayable at times. They released the game too early and now they are trying to catch up. unfortunately their subscription numbers are dropping so now they are concentrating on content instead of fixing the game itself... /sigh
  13. I waited patiently all weekend (The time when I game most, except my server is empty so I could not). Now is time for action, the weekend is over and BioWare is back at work. How long can it take to make a quick pie chart with the data collected, lol.
  14. LOL! I will meet you half way and say Darth Malak and Shadow Hand should migrate at the same time!
