  1. Again i was dismayed to find that not only was forced to move servers onto a high popluation server (which is not good when you have loads of FTP players on lower levels) I now find out that the whole game id going to become FTP. One suggestion is that Bioware has 2 sets of servers, one for subscribers and one for FTP. At the moment I have 1 toon going at level 34 which is fine as there are only 30 - 40 people on the planet. Tried to create a second toon the other day and tython was amass with FTP players and as most of those early planets are too small it ruins any chance of levelling up quickly when you have a dozen of so people bouncing down the same trail as you. This ruined the game for me and so far have not advanced this toon any further. Bioware should look after the people who are paying subscriptions each month first and then draw in the few people who are going to play with the micro payment scheme. Or basically make the game more non-linear so people arnt following each other around, like EVE. Also playing as Yoda would be cool.
  2. Yes i play other MMO most notably EVE online which is more non linear so you dont get crowding like here. Personally i dont like grouping because i always get stuck with people who rip people off for stuff just to sell it or whatever. Yes I am a star wars fan hence like playing as a dark lord or such stuff. But maybe Bioware could do light servers for people who like to solo and also keep the Free players off those servers where paid people are playing because i am sure thats half the problem. Tython had 90 odd people but on alderaan there was only 20 people but level 31 so no free players clogging up the servers.
  3. AS a solo pve player I was quite happy on low population servers, never doing heroic or flashpoints etc and not really trading on the GTN. Last month i tried a server change and didnt like it, so went back and created a new character on one of the origin servers which was nice and quiet, a few people around but not too many. Then bioware brought in the mandatory server change by 30th july, so i moved again. Just started a new jedi knight character and tython is streaming with people, 95 people when i left in frustration (how many of those a free players i have no idea) but i started to try and do some of the fleshraiders missions and walked off towards their area only to have a dozen or so people following or in front of me. As a solo player this is annoying and ruins my enjoyment of the game because as the game is linear people tend to the missons in the same order, but to level up you need to kill stuff (especially on the bonus missions) which is impossible on the server loads which are now being enforced on us. The first six mobs on the fleshraider path had all been killed, so where is the enjoyment for a solo player in that when its going to take me ages to level up. Crowded servers are fine for PVP or Grouping but some people like me dont like that and just want to solo, and seeing we are spending the same money we should be given the same consideration. So please bioware to something to the many solo players that have now had the game ruined by the server changes.
  4. Is there any point to armourmech or sytnhweaving once you get modifiable gear???
  5. Firstly is the server migration. Transferred from my origin server to my new one and it is packed. On coruscant there are 130 people playing so you are going through sections of the map with nothing to kill because half a dozen or so people have trampled through there before you. So my kill ratio is going way down, why have they done this ??? Can understand the need for fuller servers but as mainly a PvE person i do find it hard to play when i cannot kill enough npc'c to level up because there are too many people on the same level as me. It was bad enough 20 or so people per level but 120 or so is insane!!! CAN I GO BACK TO A SMALLER SERVER PLEASE!!! And my second problem is the places where some of these damn datacrons are. Impossible to get to unless you are superman or something. Spent an hour trying ot get the on in justicar territory and gave up after fall off them pipes for the hundreth time. Some of use are not graced with perfect hand\eye coordination so please make these easier to get to.
