i felt like a total wimp today. some dude sent me on a rescue mission because no one else was able to do it. seeing that the guy was easily captured i'd figure him a wimp... nope, if i didn't have my "pet" i'd have had my butt served by him (i decided not to rescue him). how did i just kill 30+ people that the other guy couldn't yet he can easily take me out 1v1? then i go back to he guy who gave me the mission - non force guy - and i did the mission as i figure my character would, so the guy attacks me. i had sent my "pets" on mission so this was totally solo. needless to say - the guy who begged me to do the mission is many times more powerful than i am... and i'm at the top end of the level of the world level range. i wish i could feel more heroic and at least have a chance to beat a whimpering npc that thought i was more awesome than he was. i quit using pets in games a long time ago and hate that i have to use one in this game or group up to fulfill "my" story. i feel like a frikken sissy.

I think so... $60 for initial price on a subscription based game is too much. but the star wars part sucked me in.

it's more like paying someone to build you a house to be ready on June 16. they say theyre gonna put a deck in but you find it missing when you move in. do you complain and take action or just wait for them to get around to it?

I wish some other mmos would take up swg style crafting. I thought it was the best, even gathering. there weren't Ny vendors and you could have hundreds of variatuions of the same item depending on mats and experimentation. it sad when you can buy items from vendors that as good or better than what a crafted can put out. I would sometimes spend hours running through player cities and just browsing goods.

I thouht actions speak louder than words. I kill a hundred rebels mercilessly, but answer a question in a way I thought would have been smartbutt and somehow gain 50 light points?

seems lotsa people here don't realize that some people prefer petless classes. only problem is that if you ditch your pet in this game you better give up solo play or spend lots of time grinding to be 2 to 4 levels higher than your quests. doing that you may not get xp for your kills in the mission though.

playing a game is part of my real life activities to. other chores and responsibilities come later - this hour is dedicated to relaxing with a game. the rest of the day is going to be spent at monkey joe's... sitting bored as my daughter has all the fun:(

you don't always have to wait for quality. highly skilled people can do a good job in less time than a poorly skilled one. i once waited two weeks for a paint job that looked like utter garbage. took it to another shop and they fixed it up real nice in three days... and were cheaper!

we've got one spare hotbar page you can use as a stealth bar. switching pages on the main bar isn't assigned by default. you got page 1 and 2 that go to the top and bottom hotbars, 3 &4 go to the left and right. then there's the 5th page that doesn't go with any hotbar. assign that that to an easily accessible key combo and switch when needed. it's not perfect, but it works for me. i use shift 1 for hb1 and shift 2 for hb5.

I've seen them too and it does kinda spoil some surprises.

I prefer the scavenging also. I too have made more money scavenging than slicing so far and my scav is lower than my slicing.

I played gorath for from launch 2 yrs. loved that it was the unofficial eu server. seeing the foreign languages gave it an almost "intergalactic" feel . I'd love toplay on an eu server just for that.

you must not have had to go through the same content 4 times (not including beta). I really like si, but I think I'll go another class this time bc I'm burned out on seeing the same quests all over again. I don't get a whole lot of time play as I work and have family duties. if I knew beforehand that my first week of playing would have been wasted I'd have spent time at the range or reloading more rounds for practice. pew pew irl is relaxing.

we shouldnt be expecting any fixes soon. holidays coming up. the only guys working might only be the ones working on server upkeep. I'd be very suprized if any major developments are made next week.

no crap, if I had waited today to create toons on a "proper" sever I wouldnt have wasted a whole week on chars on 3 servers I may never see again.

well hoo-frikken-ray here comes reroll number 4. i started a char an on seemingly low pop server only to find out tonight it's a high pop.locking char creation here sure would have been helpful. what a damn chore to go thru the same stories all over again. 1 day wasted not too bad. 2 days wasted again still not bad. another 4 days lost and it's getting to be a pain.

actually they can. that's what discussions boards are for. lay down the positives and negative views of any topic. i wouldn't care if they did it as long as it doesn't affect the queues by having each away player being logged in. i do have two smartphones - one sprint and i got on verizon just to lock in unlimited data in case i ever decide to switch. so not being able to afford isn't a problem for me... fortunately. little OT, but sometimes i do feel bad that i'm able to afford a few luxuries when some of the girl's on my daughter's cheerleading team couldn't afford to come up with $5 to pay for a pizza party a few weeks ago. my wife and i paid for the girl's pizzas and left the adults to pay for their own - you'd be amazed at how much pizza 6-11 yr old girls eat! 4 of them had half a freakin large pizza each! half her team is pretty chunky!

doesn't your crafting level up? allowing people to log in without really playing is taking up server space. if you think the queue's are long now think how bad it would be if this were implemented.

some times people confuse "can't afford" with not seeing the point in wasting money on something they don't want.

probably play at low res. i have a msi dxr780 and can play maxed, but occasionally drop under 30fps. not really a big deal in mmo's though.

man i wish i had some of you for customers. i could sell you a half-bootied product as late as i please, charge full price AND get still get praise!
