  1. IIRC, the roadmap was a GSF-type GSH in "june/aug" and a Makeb-type, including level increase, at the end of the year. So that is a question for the roadmap, does this delay/shift mean a delay in M#2? I thought from the beginning LS was scheduled in August not June.
  2. I think you are asking about something different than you specifically asked about. E.g., in LotRo, I can put items bound to character#1 in my shared storage. But char#2 can not remove or wear them. Just being able to put bound items in Legacy storage does not have to make the items behave like B2L items.

  4. Thanks for the transparency! Delays are always sad, but there is considerable compensation on the other side of the ledger. In particular, GSH was not real to me until I get my legacy bank and that was going to be August anyway. I am interested in "Provide powerful buffs to Guild members from orbit" but really, really want to know about "Transport entire groups to your personal coordinates instantaneously" I hope you are feeling even more transparent soon Keep up the good work and info and thank you.
  5. This is ... unexpected. IMO, it will probably cause a slight increase in the quality of play and certainly a decrease in the quantity of players. Considering that queue times, especially on unbalanced servers like mine, are already long this will exacerbate the problem. Without a queue improvement, looking out towards summer doldrums, TESO and Wildstar, then doing things like this which reduce pvp participation and increase queues seems like an odd business decision. It will also have a small reduction in unranked 55 participation - I can't be unique. After we leveled a number of toons with WZ, a friend convinced me we needed to try 55 PvP and we just started the process of getting gear. To me this is a big neon sign that I don't want to do ranked at least on my server. So if I am not going to do ranked, why do the long and death-filled process of getting gear in unranked? Thanks for letting us know in advance; since I no longer need ranked comms, my alts can go back to converting warzone comms eventually into credits.
  6. Doesn't Eric shortchange double xp weekend a bit since, while your mob kills are the same whether rested of doubled, the quest XP is not affected by rested but is by 2x. FYI: I looked at my XP per level tab of my Google Spreadsheet (doesn't everyone have one) to compute the PTL (pigs to level - based upon the South Park episode) It shows 15, 30 and 50 as being 7.1, 14.8 and 25 boss kills for that level. E.g. level 15 is 54,035 XP, a Boss with Rested/Double XP(w/Boost) is 7,560
  7. Fight in replicas (i.e. same art assets) of the player housing. partly this is just evil marketing to get more exposure for your housing. But partly it is how indoor paintball has a different feel to outdoor paintball. Take an elevator to an one of three to six floors, clear the floor, get the Important Click, etc. Extra credit if we get to trash the place.
  8. Regardless of map type, please learn from GSF: ABC please! I.e., put letters on objectives on the map. (IMO a graphic designer should whip out their crayon and do it for existing maps as well.) Going forward, don't make us have to figure out when the PUG says east in Voidstar do they mean East or West. ABC please
  9. Reskins seem cost effective - con is not that new but pro is not having new players have to learn new mechics. For a new map, my goals are I strongly believe in More strategy.objectives, no arena/tdm or even close. I agree with the comments to minimize guarding or at least "stay here just in case" guarding of resource nodes. I guess they serve a function, but the stupid respawn doors are annoying. Two thoughts: Lanes: picture NCoast, but terrain creates three channels with resource nodes in the middle of each channel. You can go back to near you spawn and go down another channel, but it would emphasize getting the overwhelming force on two nodes rather than dynamic reinforcement. Death should matter: You can't have a one and done like arenas in WZ. But perhaps at least make death take a bit longer each time. Dieing or killing someone in Hittball in particular can sometimes just be fast travel with heal.
  10. I lost a TDM 29-29 which made me think about the tiebreaker. the tiebreaker in huttball does figure in sometimes. In the few TDM I play it is usually 50 to low twenties so I never thought about the tiebreaker before.
  11. I would like to point out that 1) LotRO allows me to put BoP items in the legacy bank. However, only the owner can remove it. I.e., BW allowing you to put BoP into the legacy does not mean that everything is essentially B2L. 2) Every other MMO I play allows me to see my inventory across all characters. WoW, Rift, and LotRO do this with addons. EVE does it by allowing an XML file web download of your inventory (IMO something SWTOR should offer) So being able to see what crafting mats and B2L armor is a huge appeal rather than seeing which of 105 ship cargo bays it is in.
  12. It should be both banks - the existing one and the thank-goodness-finally legacy bank. If they are adding bank access in places like my house, this droid would be a welcome addition to banking.
  13. I missed it but really want it, especially for my healers. Use Case: I am at a pause in the FP, or even while group questing. As I tend to play healers, I am pretty aggressive in using my class-self heal during down time. The special snowflakes around me are not healing and go back into combat at less than full health. The way I read the MTP is that it causes the others in your party to get their self-heal when I use it on me Just put that effect on any other healing toy still available.
  14. Strongly support what I assume this is. I.e. after an unlock of armor, a further unlock would make that armor B2L. My characters are all dressed in Gree gear (or the GSF B2L gear.) Not as cool looking as I would like but at least I can share a set of mods across toons.
  15. 1) Jet boost (even extending duration of current rocket boost to 500 seconds would work) 2) Multi-person - A frenemy tends to get me stuck when I have them on follow to alt-tab to datacron map. 3) "Traveler's Tundra Mammoth" - that was the first mount in another game that came with vendors. So not literally a mammoth but some sort of vehicle that had the repair/mail/sell trash facilities built in - so probably a mechanical. So #2 and 3 would be a mini-sandcrawler with Jawa vendors. Another player could be inside but they don't have to be seen or see out. (the 2nd person is highly desirable but if the tech can't do it, fine.) As long as it is in Collections, multiple thousand CC. 4) Return from fleet pass vehicle - so in my Sandcrawler, I hit fleet pass or click my heals three time to return to my home. Once done there, I can get some sort of qucktravel and I end up back in my sandcrawler where I left it out in the BFE cul-d-sac of some planet.
  16. E.g. don't have the schematic create them with Mythra - have them use materials like hypercloth. Basically anything cloth or investigation that is getting vendored now. Less vendoring reduces inflation and it makes getting these materials less disappointing.
  17. I leveled a character from 30-52 with GSF. But when he hits 55, I would like to do that on the other faction. But the game design pushes me not to do that. As an altoholic I never bought mounts or armor before collections. Now I don't have a problem. So my opposite faction character would have to pay full price for a ship. Much worse, none of the Fleet req I earn on one helps the other. In particular, the daily SR tokens would be frustrating. Maybe I am missing some epeen or financial issue but I wish that when my GSF toon gets to 55 and a mastered ship that I could play GSF on another character without feeling like I am wasting time and money.
  18. Yes I find this a real problem in my bomber only in TDM. My workaround is just to instantly drop upon entering any TDM match. N.B.: at the end of the match you can click on the "Earnings" tab. It will show you the contributing % so you can compute your penalty. I also had a problem with GS in that I would prefer to defend a satellite at max rail range but that does not generate defender points. So I am incented to go to the inferior on top of satellite and usually do so.
  19. I am working on SR to gear a bomber. I am solo queueing. In TDM, perhaps 90% of the time zero is typed into chat and most of 10% it is just hello. So the TDM I see at my play times on my PvE server is just everyone running off to die scattered across the map. While I could see it being quite fun for premades, it seems like I would have more SR/hour and a lot more fun to just leave when I see it s a TDM when I am in my bomber. Is there no way to blacklist TDM or autodrop if I get one?
  20. For me, I really care about content per year. EVE does two expansions per year; GW2 does 26 two week cycles. WoW does an expansion every 18 months which is way too slow. I see no difference in a feature every week versus a "box" of 39 features every 9 months. I think smaller content every 4-8 weeks makes sense. Although at some point we need to do the raise level cap, reset gear thing.

My dampened gunship will be somewhere stopped, the white velocity bar on the right of the HUD showing no bars. but perhaps drifting a bit so I just press X to be sure (zero bars does not mean 0.0000% just less than a bar.). The ship starts accelerating, there are bars in the HUD, we are moving. Am I missing something? I can't see any rationale for pressing the stop button to cause the ship to start moving. Is this a bug or am i overlooking something?

  24. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but currently subscribers get more XP from ground game quests than non-subscribers. And anyone can buy a XP enhancement scroll with CC. Just like about every other MMO. Nor can you buy FR from thin air; you did have to play GS to earn the SR that were converted into FR. Pay to grind less seems to me to be an acceptable monetization.
  25. Yes, I was apparently unsuccessful at explaining it well enough. I suspect there are many who would not grind for full Obroan gear if it could only be used in full Obroan gear matches. Many(most) on forums advocate skill >>>>> gear. Yet I think GW2 design where your efforts/grind did not provide a combat bonus were not well received. No biggie; in a few hours we will be playing not speculating.
