  1. I feel dumb, but is the Ops vendor not the three crystal vendors? If so, where is he located?
  2. Affecting me as well. Numerous missing textures and the like. Trying a reinstall, but the game doesn't seem to even want ot patch.
  3. Personally, what I'd like is Commendations, Valor, and Social to be 'Account wide'. At this point, I basically feel no reason to play any alt past the completion of their class story, as A) none of the post class story content diverges in any way and B) It takes a TON of warzones to gear out a single character (assuming a 100% win rate, MH and OH would take about 20 straight wins, or approximately 5 hours of non-stop winning warzones, to say nothing of the other slots). The idea of doing that all over again for an alt... well, it's not gonna happen. Take several pages from GW2's book, guys.
  4. A rollback won't happen, and here's why: One, as mentioned in this thread, some people just went to Illum, sat in our ops group till we got our daily done, and left. It would be unacceptable to punsih any number of players who played correctly. Two: the issue is not an exploit, but a miscalculation on the devs part. They won't punish people for that. Three, it would take a lot of work for them, when they're probably already working on bug fixes for the numerous issues that cropped up in 1.1
  5. This. All of you screaming about Valor rollbacks are a bunch of entitled internet crybabies who have clearly never worked in a large company before.
  6. I would be in full support of an Android security key, AND having a search function again. Lost a thread I posted earlier and now I can't find it.
  7. In BT/Esseles, it significantly impacts the rest of the instance, or at least through the first boss. With Mandalorian Raiders and Hammer Point, it really doesn't do anything, it's just a L/S point to mine.
  8. The counter to this is have a marauder leap to you, and the carrier uses his CC break to throw the ball to him, or for that matter, just not step on the fire until his pass target is to you
  9. Honestly, the higher level you are, the better you contribute, and admittedly, the average level increases towards 50, it will become "Oh, noes, we have lowbies in" since lowbies will have less abilities and no talents spent (meaning their abilities are weaker even with the boost). However, I think the insta-queues make up for it, and frankly, the distribution so far has been pretty nice.
  10. This is actually true/false based on whether you believe George Lucas, or EVERY OTHER WRITER for Star Wars. Lucas believes heavily in absolutes, thus the hilariously ironic statement from Obi Wan "Only Sith deal in absolutes" Every other writer has taken more of a stance that the Jedi's distance from emotion is actually part of the reason why they are so frequently ineffectual. At the same time, the Sith's reliance on emotion often clouds their judgement and leads to 'for the evulz' behavior that you see a lot of the Sith doing. Revan is probably the best example of how a Light side Sith behaves. Though the Revan novel is fairly poorly written, even the Sith who eventually becomes the Emperor's Wrath see's vast improvements in his power by mixing light side techniques with his Sith ways. I feel a betrayal storyline might be interesting, but too difficult to implement, but make it a purely optional thing ("Abandon the Empire and join the Jedi order" or "Reform the Empire from within") and that would essentially be a pretty massive story branch to write for all the Jedi classes (and that's assuming you don't allow the non-Force users to do it).
  11. This in particular is exactly what made Revan so powerful.
  12. I gotta say, Bioware, BT is by far the best flashpoint so far. One: You can do it with just 2 people+companions which is great for a starting instance. Two: It actually feels like a part of your characters story (less so about the 8th time you run it, but I have no one but myself to blame for that). I was pretty dissapointed in Hammer Station and Mandalorian Raiders. In both, the only dialogue/story seems to be "Pointlessly murder non-combatants Y/N?" I know it's probably harder to make interesting dialogue and choices for both Republic and Empire, but I feel especially for the raid content, it should be something you put in. Maybe make a optional pre-boss cutscene for the raid bosses, where you can smack talk them or something, like the Jedi at the end of BT.
  13. Except for BT/whatever the Republic one is called, seems ot be about 100 depending on a single light/dark choice mid instance
  14. It's kind of odd, because the other 2 fights in the instance are extremely simple. The boarding party fight requires a lot more coordination and effort, and it took 3 tries for my group to work out our strategy. We wound up burning down the trooper first, his knockback was causing our assassin tank to lose aggro on the others, but made sure to weaken the other 3 as much as possible. Then, we held them at 3 for a while, weakening them steadily. Our sniper accidentally killed the consular when the others were still at 25%, and they killed me (I was OTing as a pure DPS marauder), but the party tanked/kited the other two around until both were at 5%. They killed the smuggler, and then the knight nearly tore the 3 remaining party members apart in her last 5%, but we got her just before she reached our healer.
  15. Devs, I've noticed a problem recently, and I think the outline of the problem can be seen in the nerf threads on the front page. But these are only symptoms of the problem. I'm here to provide you with a well thought out reasoned solution that will make everyone that matters happy. What you need to do is make me, my character specifically, SUPER POWERFUL. Let's start with 100k life, and make me hit for... I dunno, 8000 on a juggernaut, and instagib anyone who isn't a tank with all defense CDs up. Make them literally explode apart in a shower of gore. I know the animation isn't in the game, but you should make it, because it will increase the fun. Oh, and CC immunity, like a boss. Second, nerf everyone else. I want to see people forming raid groups to pull a single weak minion, while I stride by, trailing raid bosses that are beating on me while begging me for mercy. Also, put an aura on my character that interrupts all actions and animations and forces them to bow to me. Once you've implemented these changes, I think you'll find your subscribers are just generally happier, and will probably bring you puppies.
