One of those returning players, who thought they'd give SWTOR another look. I read a lot about the RNG on Command Crates and was a bit worried about gearing my Sin. Well, after opening just seven crates, I had THREE pieces for my set bonus. I thought all the post complaining about the RNG were bogus, but then....I started leveling my sniper I'm on about 15 crates opened and only one piece of gear. Anyone know what's the % chance of getting a set bonus piece of gear? Just curious.

For anyone else that surfs into this thread, the response above hit the nail on the head. I simply bound the END key to one of my mouse buttons and it now works.

I just returned to the game and it's always been Pot5 for me. I started at launch and left shortly after Makeb was released and the level cap was 55. It's taken about two weeks of adjusting to the changes and I'm finally ready to PVP again. Sadly, I noticed I returned to a dead server. I remember when 200+ ppl on fleet was the norm and WZ popped almost immediately. So, I noticed this thread. Are Tuesdays still a good time to queue for WZ? Are there any other "populated" (insert a little sarcasm) times? *Edit* - should've read the previous post, because it answered all my questions. See told ya I'm rusty

Instead of jumping right back into pvp, I went through some of the pve stories to just get a feel for things again. It's been a rough two weeks, but I've gotten a much better sense of things. The biggest slap in the face is I'm now on a dead server (PoT5). I remember the fleet having 200+ people and it's now considered crowded if 12 people are on. My next step is to looking into the cost of transferring characters..

I started playing this game at launch and left shortly after they introduced expertise in PVP. Servers were dying back then, but Pot5 was one of the populated servers. Sad to hear it's dying.

Kotor 2 was done by Obsidian Entertainment on an extremely tight timeline. The devs themselves admitted that they had to cut things and that it was incomplete. The storyline was one of those things that's incomplete. Trying to make sense of an incomplete storyline just isn't worth the time or effort. I'm new to the sage thing (played a Sin & Sniper since beta), but I've tried numerous specs with this sage. The TK/balance hybrid seems to be the best IMO. Below are two specs posted by someone else. Any thoughts on what the Darth Sidon chestplate will sell for on the GTN? I must've rubbed something for good luck, because I actually got the chestplate. Just curious what other ppl are selling it for.

I get it. We'd all love to see improvements in this area or that area and asking for it on a forum can't hurt. However, the real crux of my post was to point out that this specific request has been made many, many times before. If the Devs didn't address it back when they were fully staffed and had tons of resources, I can't see them even thinking twice about it now in their resource starved state. But it still can't hurt to make a post about it.....just be ready for another Deja Vu post

Here's the problem with the statement above. Nobody can argue that the aggregate number of Ops done is higher than Ranked Matches completed, because there's a larger % of PVE players. The point being made is that Ranked WZ is (was) the 16man Op of PVP and BW is taking it away. You just making up numbers here or do you have hard data to support the "1.5%"??

This is definitely a matter of opinion. A MM sniper can using Ambush>FollowThrough is about as hard as it gets for burst (consistently over 14 - 15k crits). Follow that with SoS>FollowThrough (another 13 - 14k) and it's a fairly significant burst in under 5 seconds. *obviously, any big hits need crits
