  1. Of course you're implying that our "votes" for anything in this game mean something to Bioware. Have you taken a look at where the game is recently?

    Q&A

Sorry to see that Allison is still here with us. I'm glad they haven't decided to ditch the Q&A though!
  3. I'm pretty sure a lot of the people in charge of the twitter (and forum moderation) have been, rightfully, fired. Unfortunately EA apparently missed a few of them, as we can see by the mass copy-paste, lock-and-delete of negative threads returning. The lack of "moderation" over the weekend was nice. To answer your question simply, though: They'll probably get back to updating the twitter feed when they establish a new internal structure as to who is in charge of keeping in touch with the community. We can only hope the new people will be a bit more friendly
  4. Same here, same error codes, same Bioware.
  5. This. Why can't you tell us your tentative origin/destination servers? Let us know who will transfer to where, and when. It's okay if this information changes. At least we'd be able to prepare to transfer (remove guild/GTN/mail items, etc).
  6. Can we please be told a tentative list of origin/destination servers? Please?
  7. That's weird, they haven't been already telling us that for months now or anything. Not that I don't appreciate you posting this information! Thanks for keeping us up to date, because Bioware clearly wont. I've developed an overall hatred for Bioware as a whole. It's always "soon". Why can't this information come from Bioware? Bioware continues to fail at communicating to the community. Copy-pasting the same information over and over to us is not communication. I sincerely hope, throughout each passing day, that each and every one of them loses their jobs and suffers hardships as a result of their bad decisions and explicit willingness to not care about their community. Neither EA or Bioware care about us. They really don't. (Regardless of their weekly copy-paste stating otherwise)
  8. The developers are not the only ones with answers. Stephen Reid was supposed to be in charge of making sure we stayed informed. He had zero clue how to do his job. We need a new person.
  9. The stickies are examples of "them" just repeating the same information. We've known about character transfers for weeks now. The goal of this is to help them understand what works for us better than what they're doing now.
  10. I went ahead and modified the end, as I agree, it was a bit rude-sounding I definitely agree with your viewpoints on at least once a week, too. I visit the forums multiple times a day hoping that there will be contact from a staff member with new information
  11. My questions to the rest of the community: These questions are not meant to be just regarding 1.3 and transfers, but content, features, and game direction overall. Maybe they just need to know what we want to know. Let's help them help us. What do you want to realistically hear from Bioware? How often do you need the information updated? How do you want to be informed about the information? (The forums? Twitter? A handwritten letter from the game director sent to your mailbox on some expensive company letterhead?) What do you, as a player of this game, want to hear, and from who? My thoughts to Bioware: We really need to know when things are going to start picking up and when things will happen. Give the community something to look forward to by providing us with a tentative date, not a tentative time of year. I understand that there can be significant backlash if you don't hit the date provided, but as it stands, we have been left in the dark for too long. Bioware has been saying the same information for an extremely long time. We don't need you to copy and paste the same spiel of "It's coming! Soon! Early summer! We swear we're listening!", and I'm not just talking about 1.3 and transfers. I want to hear about plans overall! I want to be able to get excited about the game. Start communicating with us. Let us see what your general plans are. I'm not asking that you reveal all of your "super secret" surprise stuff. Just give us a tentative date, what it is that will be coming along, and give some specific details as to that specific feature/content. Your hype video for the 1.3 update gives the same information we've already had with the exception of a screenshot of what the interface will actually look like. We STILL have no specific information on overall future plans. We STILL don't know when 1.3/transfers are coming. We STILL don't know any technical details about how the transfers will work. We STILL haven't heard from any staff that hasn't just relayed old information. We don't need to know it's coming; we know it's coming. We need to know when, and maybe even why it's planned for that date. Be a bit more transparent...please. So when is "soon"? When is your idea of "early summer"? How much time do you have planned between patches? What are you going to do differently to help save this sinking ship? Disclaimer to moderators: I never post here, but I do read the forums quite a lot. I have put effort into this post in order to make this thread different enough than the other threads so it can maintain a unique constructive discussion. Thanks for coexisting with me in peace
  12. What I mean by labels for warzones is creating a more strategy-friendly minimap by putting either a unique number or name on the important positions of each warzone. Important positions I feel should be uniquely marked: Voidstar - The doors that you are defending or attacking. Novare Coast - The bunkers you are fighting to capture. Huttball - None are needed, they already exist. Civil War - The turrets you are fighting to capture. I understand that you can just call these out using "North, south, east, or west" in your strategic calls to your ops group, but let's be honest...many people have difficulty figuring it out in the heat of the moment without an actual label marked for them. It's also difficult if someone calls out a specific direction that isn't correct relative to your position. For example, in voidstar, if you're defending the doors and someone says "left needs help", some may interpret it as "right" because they are facing the wrong direction. By implementing a change like this, you give non-premade groups a fighting chance against enemy pre-mades that may have a consistent strategic call system. If there were markers on the minimap with unique identifiers that people could follow, I think we would all find warzones more enjoyable overall Are there any other positions that should be marked? Is there a preference as to what type of mark you'd like to see on the map? Discuss!
  13. I think you may be forgetting that the game takes place a long time before episodes 4-6. Designs change with time, and it is very likely that there have been improvements made to the design of the helmets between SWTOR and A New Hope. So the helmets aren't inaccurate, they're just from a different time period.
